Okay, well I have really crooked teeth and they are turning yellow. My family is on a tight budget so I was told I'm getting braces this summer. Also, I brush my teeth regularly and floss occasionally but this doesn't whiten my teeth. Any ideas what will?

hey mimzy,
well, you can always use crest white strips! they work great, or any other like, whiting product, but crest white strips work the best.
they cost as much as a sandwhich from panera, and work reallyy well. (you get the point, pretty inexpensive?) it will take around two weeks though.
as for the crooked, braces will help that.
seriously - try some whitening toothpaste like i think, aquafresh whiting? it's in a white bottle with silver writing. that works really well too.
you dont have to get the whitening done at the dentist - you can get it done at home for a really small amount of money.

go to start - run & type in "msconfig"
then, go to the tab labelled "startup."
if you uncheck it, you can avoid having that program run the second you come onto windows.
also - dont change anything else cause it might permanently damage your computer.

I have ADHD and I was put on Adderall around Janruary. I've noticed a HUGE differance, like I use to be failing EVERY subject but now I have all 90's+!
That bad thing is that I've lost more than ten pounds while being on it. Everyone has noticed a huge differance in my weight and people hint to me that I need to it. It's not my fault that I have no appetite when I'm on it.
And people say if I lose anymore weight I'll be too skinny.
I am 5'5" and a little under 110lbs.
Also, my mom always asks if I ate breakfast and whatever.. I don't like being treated like I'm aneorexic! (link)

so your question is pretty much how to stop being thought of as super-skinny?
well, your BMI is definitely in the normal range, so you are not underweight. however, you're right. it's TOTALLY not your fault that you dont have an appetite while you're on it... so what does it matter? don't force yourself to eat when you're not hungry. just have three regular meals & if that's what fills you up, that's what fills you up.
i think, unless you are self-concious of the fact that you are on medicine for your ADHD, you should tell the people that call you "anorexic" or "super-skinny" to pretty much shove it cause it's not your fault. just tell them you're not hungry. they shouldn't care. why would it bother them?
it's their problem, not yours. you are perfect. & just cause you've lost a few pounds doesn't mean that now you're going anorexic! how rude are these people?
don't be upset about it - they're probably just jealous that you could easily loose that much weight.
i'm happy for you about having 90's and above now. you must work really hard :]
so just don't worry about those people. and if it really bothers you, tell them that you're on medicine, or if you're self-concious, just say you aren't hungry and aren't gonna force-feed yourself just cause like, two people are calling you anorexic. so unnecessary.

There is this girl jesse, and she is constantly flirting with my boyfriend! I am sooooo sick of it! cuase not only does she flirt with him she does it in front of me! my best friend told her to stop flirting with him and she's like, omg Amanda (that's me) need to stop being so over protective of him! then she said she's not even flirting with him! 15/f. for school we are going on a field trip and after we are going to an amusement park. for the amusement park everybody wears their bathing suit with clothes over it for the water park/log fume rides. and we have to pick groups with 5 people in them and the guy i like is in my group!
my question is what should i wear for this trip? i'm already wearing my new plaid bathing bikini. but what should i wear over it to make it look cute but not slutty? lol. like i can't just wear a cami.
oh and what should i use to carry my money & cell phone in? or should i wear jean shorts?

wear a sort of thin shirt, thats not see through. it might be kind of hard to find, but any shirt normally looks good with a bikini, becuase they come around you rneck so unless you wear a turtle neck. so you either want to wear a shirt that matches the color of your bikini or the opposite color, to make it stand otu. if yoiu wear a cami or white tank, itll make you look like your trying to hard so just wera a cute tee

hi, im a 15 year old female and i have a question about grinding. i recently grinded for the first time this weekend at my youth group's dance party. most guys don't find tight pants that flattering. a yeast infection is an infection that you get down there that lasts usually about a week. it will be SUPER itchy and sometimes burn.

Im turning 17 and i will be recieving my full license. and i will need a car for the summer, and my senior year. however i will be going away to college so i wont need a car after senior year.. my mother doesnt want me 2 have a car because she doesnt want to pay for insurance because it will be really expensive so i thought of maybe leasing a car for a year.. any advice on leasing?? what would be better??? you'd have to pay full coverage insurance on a lease too. so you're gonna have to have it either way. plus you can't lease and get a low monthly payment unless you have good credit. and at 17 you prolly don't have any credit so the car would have to be in your mom's name. plus as was said with a lease you have to go only a certain amount of miles for the time of the lease. it'd make more sense just to buy a decent used car and go from there.

well he is probably not aware of it! you should just talk to him about it. because if you just start to not be the person to hang out anymore, he might be all confused and get angry that you never want to hang out anymore.
just calmly bring it up - "hey, how come i am always the one to initiate a hang-out? we should hang out more often." or something like that. use "i" statements, not "you"s... do not say, "you never ask to hang out anymore." that will only make him upset & angry.
i'm sorry that this happened to you. but if you DO try talking to him about it, and he is not doing anything about it... i might consider the real relationship you have? i mean what's a relationship without two people meeting each other halfway? what if you're always the one to reach out to him & he never reaches to you?

the thing is i'm a 20 yrs old women, and i realized i'm bisexual i didnt like the fact that i am. but i dont look at other women i always look at guys. but when she comes along i get gosse bumps. she is my best friend and i love her very much. i try to ask god why he seems okay with me for this cause he been showing me signs to dont let her go. i try to forget about her and ignor my feelings but she been flriting to me, and leaning on me. i tell my self its wrong to love some one that is the same sex as you, but people say its okay. so if god show me signs to dont let her go, does that mean he is okay with it? that the lord wants us to love someone no matter who it is? its so hard....

Well, I have a friend like that. We've been BESTBESTBEST friends since 3rd grade. I COULD look at her like a partner, but I don't. I look at her like a sister. If you don't want to be bisexual, you don't have to be. It's all in your head. Very few people are REALLY like that (to where they HAVE to be..I honestly don't believe ANYONE has to be. Because in the Bible, God created ADAM and EVE.. so he obviously meant for men & women). Instead of looking for positive signs, look for negative ones. You're not 'with' her. Maybe that's you sign? Or anything else? Now you're saying that she's flirting. That could be all in your head, also. My friend is touchy-feely, but it's just the way she is. She's a nice and loving person. People might thing we are 'together.' (Doubt it..) But we're not. Your friend might just think that ya'll are good, close friends. If you don't look at anyone else but HER like this, it's probably just a phase that will pass. I don't know your history/background so it's kind of hard for me to help you and give my opinions.

i have a crush on my best friend for 8 years. i've been trying to get over her and move on. yeasterday i text her to see how her class trip was on friday and she reply "good" usely she text me long funny texts and she didnt do it. i started to wonder why cause i like it when she text me like that and when i was thinking about it i got to worry if she hates me or something(i always worry about alot of stuff)that moring i went to catch the bus to go to class and the whole trip there i was thinking 'i need to forgot about her, move on, dont tell her how i feel.' then when i got off the bus i saw people waiting for there buses at the bus stop and i thought i saw her. but i knew that cant be her cause she gets rides from her parents after her class ends. so i walk with my head down and before i knew it she ran up to me. and it was her! we smiled our hellos and i ask why she waiting for the bus she reply 'my mom is picking up my anut". then her bus came.

God knows your future. If he is trying to keep you close with this girl, he's doing it for a reason. Yes- I believe it was a sign. He's just telling you to have patience. Have faith & patience. You can ask Him for more signs. Like, "If she is right for me, give me another sign."

My friend is really religious. She NEVER doubts. She's told me stories, and I'll tell them to you. One night, me and [Katy] were talking about religion. It was the first time that we REALLY opened up and understood each other. After we had our conversation, she told me that a few days before our talk, she asked God for a sign. The sign that He gave her was our talk. Another time, she liked this boy [Adam]. She thought Adam was good and nice. She asked God if he was right for her, and to give her a sign. A few days later, he posted a BAD bulletin on MySpace. That was the sign. It may be small things, but they have big meanings. Every now and then, she will pick a number 1-10. And say it's 1:52 right now. And say her number was 3. She will do 3 months from now, 3 days from now, 3 minutes from now. At that moment, she believes something will happen. AND IT DOES. [She can thank God for that.] She did that once, and at/near the time she picked, she held hands with a boy for the very first time. She's got faith. More faith than most people. I respect her.
