I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

I have 15 tattoos, and 8 piercings. I'm married and just gave birth to a baby boy in May. I'm currently a SAHM so you can find me taking care of my son and binge-watching television while he naps.

i have always had a hot temper but it used to take ALOT to make me let it out, and when i did i would mostly just yell then go up to my room and lay down away from everybody until it went down

But lately the smallest things absolutely ruin my day. when i lose my temper which is a daily thing now, i cannot say anything otherwise my dad who's temper is byfar the worst i have ever seen will flare. so i twist and pinch my arm while he yells at me. i then go to my room and throw things, punch my pillows and walls, scream as loud as i can into my pillows and trash my room. when im tired i cry for hours. the rest of the day i cannot talk to anybody. just the voice of somebody who wants to talk to me makes me feel angry all over again. I wake up everyday in such a good mood but my temper always seems to take the day away from me.

how can i control my temper? it's ruining my life

You need to see a counselor, and a doctor. Doctors can prescribe you pills made for your anger, and a counselor will help you to talk things through.

Okay, me and my boyfriend have been going out for 3 weeks now. We both like each other alotalotalot.
We've hung out with each other every weekend. He met my mom & dad, i met his mom, and our moms met each other.

The previous times that he has hung out at my house, we've just cuddled on the couch watching a movie. We've never made out (once i tried to..), just regular kissed. We both want to makeout with each other, and we've talked about it. Except everytime we plan to, my mom is at the top of the stairs, or we're supervised SOMEHOW. When we try to go outside, my mom is always like "NO KISSING" and she watches us.

I've made out with my last boyfriend several times, without my mom getting involed. I don't know if it's possible for my to go over my boyfriends house, because i know my mom would be suspicious and know what we want to do.

If your mom and your boyfriend's mom met each other, I'm sure your mom wouldn't mind you going over to his place. Just tell her that it get's boring whenever he comes over all the time, and that you'd like to make it fair & equal. Besides, it surely isn't fair that he always has to come to your place, why not go to his?

Or you could talk to your mom about it. Tell her you guys aren't going to have sex or anything, you just want to kiss him. But I can see why you're mom is concerned. Kids are having sex younger & younger & kissing can lead to other things. Just make sure to be careful & talk to your mom about it.

Ok, so I am visiting my ex in jail tommorrow, someone I still have feelings for. I haven't seen him in over a year and I am very nervous about seeing him. So nervous infact that I've almost talked myself out of going. I'm afraid I'm going to say something dumb. I mean, I've never visited anyone in jail before, so I don't know what to say, ya know? What are some ideas to start the conversation going smoothly? HELP ASAP!!

Ask him how he's been, & when he's set to get out or whatever. Just ask him how his life is.

I doubt it. Sometimes the stuff you see on the net can be so dumb, and untrue. Don't worry about it. If you see it on the news, then I might worry a little bit, but until then, just don't worry about it.

i know this sounds really odd, but i have hair on my nipples. I feel real uncomfortable around people, becasue of it. i dont think its very natural, and i think somethings wrong..is there anything wrong? does it happen to anyoen else?...i really want to know!

It's normal. Some girls have hair there, and some don't. If you don't like it, you can shave it so you won't be so uncomfortable about it. And you shouldn't be. It's not like everyone you meet is gonna see your chest.

what's the best shampoo and conditioner in your opinion?

I like Herbal Esscences. The kind for certain hair. Like some of the shampoo makes your hair straight, or curly or wavy. Or it can just rebuild your hair. I also use Suave Naturals, or just Suave shampoos & conditioners all together. I like basically anything that smells good & isn't too expensive. Vo5 is good too, and so is Pantene. I've never used Treseme, but I heard it worked well.

And the shampoo I can't stand is Garnier Fructrisse [sp?] because it dries my hair out. My mom loves it, but it doesn't work for me. It always leaves my hair dry & then I have to rewash my hair with anoher shampoo brand.

ive had discharge for about 3 years now and im 13, but i havent gotten my period. i was in health class and it said to get your period you must have boobs[[or small ones..ha like me!]] you get discharge, pubic hair, and on eother thing that i have gotten!!! i think something is rong with me. both sides of my family seem to have gotten there period young, or who ive talked to, my aunt my mom, and my other aunt. is something worong with me????

There's nothing wrong with you. Even though your mom & your aunts may have gotten their period young, it doesn't mean you will either. Everyone is different & get's their period at different times.

i know its bad to pop zits, but i messed with one and popped one that wasn't ready so then it started bleeding. now i have a scab there and its so annoying! and i've tried covering it with foundation but it just gets flaky and gross. so is there any way to speed up the healing and/or make the scab go away? and also in the meantime are there any good ways to cover the scab? thanks!

Put some Neosporin on it throughout the day & put it on at night so it'll heal faster. Other than that, try not to pop your zits because it'll scare & it'll look bad.

im just rele... not in a good mood. im pretty upset and i need some1 to talk to. i just feel like shit and like i shouldnt be. my whole problem is i wear my heart on my sleeve and ive already tried to cut it off but that didnt work. i just fall for people way to easy and then they never like me for anything than just a friend. tonight i went to a play to watch the girl i liek perform cuz lastngiht she invited me and i decided i would come again. well lastnight i couldnt ifnd her and tonight i told her after the play to come find me and i would be sitting where i was before. well i waited for 5 minuites then found one of my other frineds and talked to her until she helped me find the other girl. she was talking to and upperclassmen (btw, im a freshman and the girl i liek is a freshman) and it really hurt me inside to see her with him cuse it is obvious tht she probubly likes him and he probubly likes her only for her body. im tryin to hold back tears while writing this cuz my mom is downstairs and if i cry she knows something is wrong. this spring break has completely sucked for me. ive already thought of giving up on everything. i just feel so unloved and its got me depressed and its slowly killing me.

Aww, I know exactly how you feel. I wear my heart on my sleeve as well, and I wish I didn't. Sometimes I fall for the wrong person, or fall too quickly & they end up not liking me only resulting me to get hurt in the end.

Since I'm figuring out how to change this as well, I'll tell you what I've learned so far.

When you start talking to someone, try to not fall immeadiately. Get to know them, become their friend, hang out with them, & talk to them alot. Once you've achieved becoming their good/close friend, then start to like them. Also, don't tell them you like them immeadiately because it might make things awkward, or they might not like you back.

Don't automatically assume that they like someone else just because they're talking to someone else. They may just be friends, or he might've complimented her on her performance. If she didn't come to you immeadiately, don't assume she forgot about you, just think that maybe she was on her way to talk to you when that guy came up. She could've been doing a ton of things, so don't think it was her intention.

Also, don't let a girl bum you out dude. Seriously, you're how old? 14-15 years old? Girls are not the world. You should be finding out who you are, and what you're about. And concentrating on school. A girl could bring your grades down & make you lose focus. If you like her, that's cool, but try to worry about your grades first since they're more important. And don't give everything up because of her. She might not be worth it, & if she doesn't like you, that's cool. There are plenty of other girls out there, and life right now for you shouldn't be about relationships. You've got a lot of time for those when you're older.

I have never actually had a 4.0 in my life, but I've had good grades before, so I think I may be able to help you.

When you get a project, start it immeadiately. The longer you wait to start or work on it, the worse it can turn out. Never do a project the day before you need to turn it in because you're not as ready or as organized, and it probably won't turn out as good.

When doing you're homework, make sure you've got notes on it just in case you happen to get stuck. This can be good for English, Global, Math or Science homework. It's also good for electives you happen to take. The more you know about something, the better it helps you. And when you have notes to look at, it helps you as well because then you can at least attempt something rather than telling your teacher "I didn't know how." They rather hear or see that you tried it rather than you ignored it all together.

Study for all of your tests/quizzes. Even if it's a pop quiz, your teacher might give you a little bit of time to study it. If not, make sure you study everyday for at least an hour so if a pop quiz does happen, you'll know the material & you can be ready for it.

When doing your homework, use blue/black pen, or pencil. If you use those pretty colored BIC Pens, then your teacher might take points off. They're good for notes or highlighting/underlining, but for an actual assignment, I don't recommend them. Also, write neat, take your time & don't abbreviate, use computer-speak OR have incomplete sentences. Teachers HATE that more than anything & will most likely take a ton of points off for it, & it'll drop your grade dramatically.

ok so i need major help. about a month ago i had a pregnancy scare and i got 2 tests done that both came back negative. i had all the symptoms and i mean ALL [[my mom even questioned me about it]]. but i had only missed 1 period. so far now i have missed 2 and continue to have these symptoms and they keep getting worse. whats worse is my bf broke up with me a month ago after it came back negative [[he was my one and only so no other guys are involved]]. i am a verrry thin girl like, i'm 5'8 and 110lbs [[no i'm not anorexic, i eat a lot, it's just genetics]]. and i have really tight abs. . .well, not anymore and i'm starting to pooch a bit haha as funny as that sounds. are these symptoms just in my head? am i just gaining some weight? should i get another home test? i can't go to a doctor because i am only 17 and would die before telling my parents anything i've done. i need help [[please, no internet links cuz my dad might monitor what all i do]]

I know what you're going through. I had a pregnancy scare also in January & early February, but got my period on my birthday.

Sometimes tests are negative the first few times, and it takes more than one to get whether you're pregnant or not. Try another test, and see how it comes out.

When I had my scare, my friend told me there was a thing where you could actually make yourself believe something, and that it was all in my head. I'm not sure if he was kidding, or was serious, but it freaked me out even more.

Worrying can also take away your period. When you worry a lot, your stress builds up & causes your period not to come, that could also be it.

If you're that scared about going to the doctor [or simply can't], try to go to your local planned-parenthood with a friend of yours. You could just be gaining weight, but then again your mom did question you, and you haven't gotten your period.

Also, next time you have sex, please use a condom. You don't want to be scared [such as you are now], and you definitely do not want a little bundle of joy. Especially at your age since you'll be graduating soon & going off to college. A baby could easily ruin that for you.

I am so annoyed. I always have acne. It is like..constant break outs, and it never stops. I dont know what else to do. I have tried everything from clearasil, neutrogena, clean and clear, differin, duac, tea tree oil, clinique 3 step skin care, olay, and alot more. I usually break out around the T zone, my chin, and forehead..basically everywhere. Please dont give me amateur advice. Like..drink plenty of water and get a lot of sleep ( I do anyways. ) Also please dont recommend products that you have never tried. Please recommend what you think will REALLY work for me. And also please don't tell me not to wear makeup because I cant stand to see myself without the acne covered up. I need a moisturizer also because if I dont use it before I put makeup on, than it looks cakey. But that may be because I have big pores in the spots that it looks cakey. Any help for big pores? I would really appreciate your advice

I've used Pro-Activ before, and I think it works really well. It takes away the acne & doesn't dry out your skin. If you haven't used it already, try it. I think it might work for you.

If your acne isn't going away though, it could the makeup you're using. Try using different brands & see if it helps. If not, you just might have oily skin, or a skin condition. But no worries, this can be treated.

If you're at wit's end with your acne, see your dermatologist & see what he/she recommends. They know a lot of the things out there, and they could give you something you might not have thought of, or they can give you a special medicine that will clear it for you. Good luck.

i have this friend who no one likes, and i kinda like her, but she has her moments. Plus everyone thinks she a lesbian, and i kinda agree. I hate talking about her, but idk what to do about it. I dont like confronting her on the issue, but i also want to be sure of her sex. SHe does many things to me which i dont particularly want ehr too, but its weird to tell her STOP!! im not sure what im asking exactly, but i need advice!!!

If you were really her friend, then you'd go to her if you had a problem with her. Don't talk about her behind her back because then you're not being a good friend.

She could be a lesbian, and she could be bisexual, or maybe she's just curious, but you're job is to let her know that you're neither of those. If you don't want to do anything with her, then you need to let her know that as well. If you just sit there, and do nothing, she'll keep on. You need to speak up.

As much as you hate confronting someone, it needs to be done. If someone's talking about you behind your back, are you going to let them, or are you going to stop it? And if someone had an issue with you, or a question, they should confront you, just like you should confront them.

Also, even if she is bisexual or a lesbian, you shouldn't bail. I'm sure she's a nice person & it'd suck for you to stop being friends with her just because of something like her sexual orientation. I'm sure you wouldn't want someone to do that to you, so don't do it to her.

I'm 14/f and i go to sleepaway camp all summer. Last summer I became really attached to my best friend at camp whose a guy. We just fit like puzzle pieces ya know? When we left camp of course it was very traumatic and we both agreed that we had really deep feelings for eachother and agreed to try to see eachother over the year and keep in touch. He lives 15-20 minutes away!

Of course nothing ever goes as planned. I talk to him frequently on AIM and he sometimes says he wants to take me out somewhere, but the plans always fall through. He always reminds me that I'm his girl and that nothing can tear us apart. Whatever. He never has his phone on so i quit calling it.

Should i try harder to see him or just wait because theres a little less than 3 months til camp? Its just...I really miss him and i may be crazy but i could swear i love him.

I would try harder. Always keep trying to make plans with him & if they fall through, or he keeps making excuses as to why they don't work, then you know you're not doing anything wrong, and it's him.

If you still insist that you quit calling, then wait until summer & ask him why you guys never hung out throughout the year. Maybe you can work on a plan to keep seeing each other. Besides, what's a relationship if you're not seeing each other anyways?

well my hair is currently dark brown but underneath it is dark red. and so i wanna dye it blue and or purple. only like tips or streaks havent decided yet. i got this blue stuff at hot topic and it came out. so anyone know of any inexpensive blue and or purple hair dyes that will last a while? and where mite i get these?

also i want to pierce my ears. i already have both ears pierced but i want a second piercing like right above. can i do this myelf with a needle or will that cause an infection? haah my first piercings hurt rite now cuz i shoved a 12 gage into them yesterday. im gonna stretch em out till maybe an 8 gage. so yea. thanx peeps. you rock. ;]

If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply store near you, you can buy all of your dyes there. Sometimes the stuff at Hot-Topic isn't permanant, or it washes out, so you should always check the labels before you buy something.

I already had a first hole, and did 6 more [3 in each ear] myself all in one day. I used a piercing earring, a ton of ice, and an earring. A piercing earring has a sharpened back instead of a normal one. So you'll be able to tell it from a normal one because it won't look the same.

When you pierce yourself, there's always a chance of infection, but if you take the time to numb it, and make sure the needle [or piercing earring] you're using is clean, then you should be fine. Just make sure you clean it everyday, and you should be fine. =)

15/f. how do you know if a guy is trying to make you jealous? because i really like this guy, but he has a girlfriend. and sometimes i feel like he's trying to make me jealous because he sometimes talks to me about her. so my question is how can i tell if he is trying to make me jealous or if he just really likes his girlfiend and likes to talk about her a lot. thanks!

If he's trying to make you jealous he will:

- Talk highly of her.
- Kiss her/hug her in front of you when he sees you coming.
- Touch her purposely.
- Compare the two of you.
- Making you feel like nothing compared to her.

He might like you, but you need to find that out for yourself. Ask him simply, but if he doesn't, then don't be hurt. Also, he might not be trying to make you jealous, but seeking help or advice from you. Or he just might not realize that he's doing this.
