okay, there is this girl that i'm friends with. she's 15 and i'm 14. she gets really emotional over guys--just keep that in mind. well, the kinky part is that she likes a guy that i like and i like a guy she likes or liked or went out with. It's not on purpose or anything. she's very open about who her crushes are but i'm very secretive--long story behind that.
well, mike asked her to homecoming which she said he ruined and was pissed at him but still sorta like him. well, mike likes me and its obvious and i really want to go out with him but the complications are:
1. I have this habit of covering up my feelings for crushes by acting like I hate them or something sometimes and when Kayla said she was going to homecoming with me, that habit kicked in so she thinks I don't like Mike that much.
2. Since she likes mike, I don't want her to cry or anything like that in school if she hears about us going out.
3. I'm worried about the whole "His idiotic snese when it comes to distinguishing b/w gf and guy friends"
I heard that he was going to ask me out really soon and I frankly don't know what I'm going to do. Should I just tell Kayla that I also like Mike -- if so how do I explain to her my "habit" ? Should I decline Mike or say yes and if I do say yes, what do I do with Kayla? It's all mixed up >.
Okay. It's weird how well I relate to this question. I'm just like you, not vocal about who I like, and it gets me into 'trouble' like this as well.
I don't think you should turn him down if you really like him. Let her know before hand that you like him, make sure she hears it from you, not from someone else. Tell her that you don't speak up about crushes as much as her, and thats why she didn't know. If she has a real problem with it, you are going to have to make the decision. But from where I look at it, if she's your real friend, she won't care (unless she has some serious issues with this guy), so if thats not the case, and she still gets really upset, you should probably evaluate your friendship and decide him or her. But, it might not even get to that point. But you do have to tell her.
Also... How can he like you AND your friend. And he asked your friend first, correct? If this is the case, he's probably not worth fighting with your friend over anyways =)

Flirt with her, a lot. Don't, like stalk her or anything, just be really flirty around her, give her special attention, compliment her, and see how she responds. If she acts the same way back, chances are she likes you, and casually mention that you two should hang out sometime. If she doesn't act that way back, don't get your hopes up, she could just be shy, but you should probably back off a little bit. Good luck =)

okay, our school puts on a halloween haunt concert every year. I already have a gorgeous dress that I need to make use of, I just don't know how to incorporate it into a costume. Can you give me ideas on what I could dress up as using ths dress? Please, nothing like throwing fake blood or getting the dress dirty. Also I want to look pretty, not some sort of monster.

It looks kind of vintage. You could throw a cute apron over it, keep those pearls, put on some pumps, maybe get some cat eye glasses (costume stores have them) and you'd be like one of those 50's moms from the sitcoms like leave it to beaver.
Or you could be a greek goddess. Get some gold ribbon and wrap it around your waist (with it criss crossing in the front) and then a head dress from some kind of costume store (they're really cheap) that goes with it. Then maybe take gold ribbon and criss cross it up your legs (wear flip flops) to make it seem like lace up sandals that they wore.
Okay, so homecoming is coming up and I know that there will be slow dancing. The problem is that I can NEVER slow dance. The last time I've slowdanced with guys I ended up just stopping and just stand there and talk..=/
It's just really awkward that you move around like a foot and not talk...erm so yeah.
1-What are good tips for slow dancing
2-Should I talk to get rid of the awkward silence ness or should i just keep quiet

Slow dancing= NO BIG DEAL
Take his lead, if he starts talking to you, look in his eyes and talk to him like you would any other time. Don't force conversation though, because it might turn awkward.
If you guys aren't talking, Lay your head on his shoulder and just move with him.
There really isn't much to it, I promise. Just go with the flow. Don't just stop and talk. If anything, be quiet till the dance is over, and then just don't dance with them again, if its that awkward.

ok. so homecoming is coming up. and my dress is teal. and up to my knees and a halter top. i just dont know what color of make up i should wear. i dont think teal would be good...tahts just to much and will most likely look terrible. so i guess im just asking for some ideas. im kinda tan. kind of olive-ish colored skin. brown eyes.

You could go to a hotel and stay the night there, those are always fun, with access to the pool and hot tub =)
For my birthday, I went to an amusement park, and it was the best one I ever had. So thats an option.
Another fun one is camping. Pitch a tent either in your back yard or the nearest campgrounds. You guys could have a bonfire, then sleep outside. My friends and I always like that.

Get sleek shampoo for straight hair or anti frizz shampoo. John frieda has a line of anit frizz, and you can get it at walmart. Actually, he has a whole line of anti frizz products at walmart. I love the antifrizz serum. It does work, for me at least. Theres also this spray done by matrix that rebels humidity that is pretty good, but its a little more expensive, you can get it in salons. okay, where to start. well i was going out with this boy named Alex. and i liked him alot and everything but he liked me like a thousand times more. well like every night this boy Lane would call me tryin to get with me, but i never thought anything of it. well about two months passed and me and Alex had already broken up. Then Lane was going out with my friend Addair who can't keep a boyfriend at all. Well she was grounded and me and Lane and all my other friends were all friends so we were goin out together and Lane started liking me that night again. me and Lane have kind of like always had a thing for eachother. well the next Addair brok up with Lane cause like i said, she doesn't like keeping a boyfriend. then Lane asked me out. so i said yes. i have never had a boyfriend like Lane before. it was so much fun with him, like we experienced so many new things together. we went out for 3 1/2 months and then at this fair thing we have in my town, his friends from his school were there [we go to different schools] and he started acting like a COMPLETE JERK. like it was so weird, he was never that bad. so then i couldnt take it and i broke up with him. then i found out he acted like that so i would break up with him. that hurt. i was sitting there crying so hard and all he could say to me was stop shaking. so then we went a caouple days without talking, and then i called him. i was like, Lane, what happened? and he basically told me he was just tired of having a girlfriend and he wanted to be single. i never wanted to break up with him. so then the first weekend after we broke up we were hanging out at the mall with all our friends and he was acting like we were like, "together" you know. and it made me so mad. but i couldnt help but like it cause i like him. then the next day me him, my best friend Taylor, and her boyfriend which is Lane's bestfriend, Kyle all went to the movies. well Lane likes kind of "simple" girls in a way. and well, i dress kind of not simple sometimes. i like acessories and style and stuff. well at the movies that night he decided that he wasnt gonna hang out with us because of what i was wearing. i mean how frickin low is that. i was so mad. cause then i was stuck with Taylor and her boyfriend and oh my gosh that was like hell. well then i had people over at my house the next monday and he was one of them. we flirted like crazy and like, i can tell there's chemistry there. but i just don't know how much. well then last night we went to the movies again, me Taylor, Kyle, and Lane. well me and Lane used to always go to the movies together when we went out, alot of stuff happened at the movies. so it was hard. cause you don't know how bad i just wanted to start making out with him. well then he started trying to kiss me and he held my hand and i resisted for a while but uhhh i just cant resist that boy. so then we were like all together and it was just so confusing and he was like i still like you and i shouldn't have ever broken up with you. my friend Taylor doesn't think i should go back out with him anytime soon. my friend Caela thinks i deff. should. my friend Addair is in the middle. so i am so completely confused. i dont know what he wants, i dont know what i want, i dont know what my friends want. so can you help, please? sorry its so long, lol.

Well I think this boy is up and down more than a roller coaster. Sounds to me like he doesn't even know what he wants. You don't need that in your life. I think that you should tell him to take some time and decide whether he wants to be with you or not, and that you aren't going to keep waiting around for him. If he can't change his ways, I think you should be done with him. But it also sounds like you really like him, so maybe one more chance wouldn't hurt. Follow your heart, not your friends. I hope things work out, keep me posted

Flash cards are the best method for me. Just writing something down is proven to help you remember it. Usually, all I have to do is make them, then I'll remember. I barely ever actually have to use them. Good Luck!

Yes, its very possible. My friend Caleb has a natural 6 pack. He had one in jr high, and all the girls loved it. I mean he worked out, but not like allll the time or anything, it was basically natural.

Hi! Im 15 and i have an interview for a job working with jewelry. And i have never had a job or have been interviewed before, im so nervious! So a couple questions:
1) What kind of questions are they going to ask me? I'm feeling negative because i have never had a job or Experience, which is important right?
2) I dont have fancy clothes. Just jeans and shirts, you know..what should i do?
3) I was at OzzFest all day today so i'm beet red on my face. What should i do about that?
and last..
4) I have a lip and nose piercing. Should i take them out, and then after the interview ask about the facial piercing policy?

Don't wear jeans if you can avoid it. Khakis, skirts(assuming you are a girl), black pants, dresses, and such are all fine. If you can, borrow them from some one. If you absolutely must wear jeans, wear the darkest pair you have, because the darker the jeans, the dressier they are. And wear a nice shirt. No t shirts. Put aloe on your face for the burn. Then apply foundation on your face before the interview, and dont forget to put it on your neck to, you want to blend well. Definitely take out your piercing. And as for the questions, I've never been to an interview either, but my friends have, and they got asked questions such as "what are your positive qualities that will assist you in this job" "what will you bring to the team here at (wherever)" "what are your qualifications" "why do you want to work here" and questions like that..

Every morning I wake up with deadly breath and a killer taste in my mouth. Even after I brush my teeth, it's still nasty. I don't know what else to do. Even when I brush my teeth before bed I have this problem. Any ideas on how to fight morning breath? (I had no idea what catagory to put this in!)
When you brush your teeth at night, make sure to really brush your tongue. Thats where a lot of bad breath comes from. Then do the same in the morning, and use mouth wash a couple times. Chew sugar free gum if you need (if you are going to chew gum a lot, its better to chew sugar free because its better for your teeth)

ok well i'm going on vacation tomorrow to the beach, & i just got my period today. this isn't the first time i got it, the first time was in may, i actually got it twice in may and never got it in june. well i'm going to the beach, and i'm going to be wearing a bathing suit/going in the water. [i'm not like a person that will be swimming underwater, i'd probably just be like jumping the waves lol] it's not like i'm going to be in the water the whole time, just in and out. i've only been wearing pads though, not tampons. i've heard that your period stops when you're in the water but what about when i'm out of the water? should i just wear a tampon [i've never worn one before] would it be okay to wear a pad? idk what to do! please help? thankss :]
Wear a tampon, trust me. Your period doesn't stop underwater, but if you aren't going super heavy, then the blood just washes away, and you cant see it. But since you are going to be in and out of the water, you should definitely wear a tampon. You can't wear a pad in the water. I didn't wear tampons until like months after I first got it, but once I made the transition, I was so glad, because they are SO MUCH BETTER. They make life way easier. good luck!
