apaislove answered Saturday July 22 2006, 8:28 pm: In 5th grade my teacher read us the book "Small Steps: The Year I Got Polio" by Peg Kehret. It is still one of my absolute favorites, I could never get sick of it, and I am now 16 and going to be a junior in highschool. It's the story of this young teenage girl who is diagnosed with a disease, Polio, that paralyzes her from the neck down. I just love it because the author is the girl who was diagnosed, so seeing how she went through everything is great. It's not too long either, so I love it, hah. :] [ apaislove's advice column | Ask apaislove A Question ]
sassysara answered Saturday July 22 2006, 7:03 pm: I am not sure how old you are, but "A Boy called It" its a true story and it made me realize how strong the human spirit really is and how lucky the majority of us have it. Another really inspirational book for me was "The Power of One". As I am an avid reader (I read on average 10/week) there are probably tons more that I can't think of off the top of my head. If you tell me what type of book you enjoy I could probably tell you a few more.

orphans answered Saturday July 22 2006, 6:48 pm: Tale of Two Cities. It's really a school kind of book, it's really boring for the first 200 pages, but the ending is really awesome. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
