my family like lives on eBay. you'll be fine as long as you read everything (for ex. if it says it's the "best imitation you'll find" it's not authntic and it's in "fair" condition it's not brand new) and i also suggest looking at thier sattisfaction rating (so you'll know if they're cheap or something). also you cam=n usually see a picture of what you're buying so you'll know if it's torn or something. so in short...yes it's pretty safe.

99% of the time. You might get tricked and they could not send it, or send it late, or lie about the appearance of it. But you could prevent that by simply reading their ratings. (The person you are buying from.)

Well, yes and no. Many people make good transactions and everything works out fine and they never have a problem. Although, my neighbor once bought something for his boat and he got ripped off. So it can go both ways. Some people just want to make money and they are innocent people selling good stuff, and some are just trying to rip you off and keeping the money and the item.

A key to help make sure that you won't get ripped off is to check the seller's feedback. If there feedback is anywhere from (5% to 100% then they are probably trustworthy sellers. If there feedback is really bad like 60% then you know that they've made some costumers in the past pretty pissed. Also, read the comments people left the seller. Good comments are things like, fast shipment, and great seller and "I would do business with again." Bad feedback is like never recieved item, took a very long time to ship, and item was used when it said in the describsion that it was used. That means you shouldn't buy from the seller.

Be careful and choose wisely for who you do business with. =]

Hope I helped,

Nothing is ever safe buying over the internet. But thankfully, there are ratings and buyer comments that can help you look out for the sellers that are safe to buy from. If you plan to bid/buy on anything, make sure the seller has a high enough rating & plenty of positive feedback from it's buyers.

hmm..idk about that. some stuff yes, some stuff no. i'm not exactly sure what you mean by safe. sometimes there's people that aren't fair & rip you off, but sometimes there's people that don't & do a good job. the best thing to do is before you buy something off of ebay, make sure the person selling it has good references. check their comments. a lot of people who bought things from them, leave comments & stuff & they're rated. if they have bad comments & low ratings..then yeah you might not want to buy from them. the owners of ebay check to make sure there aren't people ripping people off, but of course some don't get caught. so yeah, check that. if things seem a little weird, don't buy their stuff. i think you'll be able to tell. if you do get ripped off, you can make a report & get your money back.

-hope that helped!♥
