Sounds stupid, I know, but take a deep breath in, and a deep breath out. Do this 5 to 10 times. Slowly.

Here are some of the things I do when I cry or feel upset and want to feel better, try it and I hope they work for you:

1. Air guitar to Since You've Been Gone - Kelly Clarkson

2. Listen to music really loudly

3. Try to draw my feelings on paper by scribbling

4. Punching bag

5. Listen to some comedy, like Dane Cook

6. Eat a big bowl of ice cream, because lets face it - food is awesome.

Try doing those things, I know they seem pointless, but I hope thats what you were looking for. Hey one thing I read in a medical magazine [my parents are doctors] is to blow bubbles in the shower or anywhere else. Really. Sounds crazy and childish, but it is very relaxing. I tried it once, and got so caught up [because really, how often do we do that] that I completely forgot about feeling upset and wanting to cry until I spilled the soap everywhere =( Talking to anyone is always a good thing to do - there will always be somebody willing to listen to you. Hope that helped and feel better.

Hmm...no offence, but are you by any chance staying in the relationship because you feel you need to? Well anyways, if trying to end it is what you are going for, then write him a letter. Take the time to type up a letter explaining how you feel about him, but how his way of treating you and all those other things just make you feel terrible. I mean there are no clear cut rules of what you can and can't do in a relationship - it really does depend on what is going on...Hope things go well

=) Your fine the way you are. Actually you are more than just fine, you are great. Why? Because you think! Good for you. I guess it might be difficult to tell if it is common or not common, because just as girls may say they are not interested, might be; some might say they are and actually not be. Get what I mean? But anyways, at your age, and even in 8th grade I remember, I thought to myself: girls are weird; what do they talk about; why do they have to do the things they do; etc etc etc...the list goes on. So in short, nothing is wrong with you...and don't let society tell you otherwise. To me, I see it as a 50/50, not common but not uncommon - split right down the middle. For the most part you might even notice that yourself...ever see someone go for a guy or say things a bit after 'her best friend did too?' Before anything you'll see some guys as friends, and then you just build on from there, so you'll be fine. Hope that helped.

Have the same laptop, same drive, same problem. Solution: Call the company and ask them what to do. 99% chance they will refer you to a place near by that would be able to fix it, like they don't recommend just sending it anywhere. They might just send you a box to have it sent back to them. But yeah, as for on your own, there really is nothing you can do to fix it by yourself. Hoped that helped and good luck.

My cousin told me that a good book she really liked was A Knight In Shining Armor, by Jude Deveraux. I havn't read it myself, but I hope you like it.

Hmm. I'm guessing you feel tight and sore after a few minutes...so at that point I would suggest you would do this [sorry if its confusing] -

Hold your left arm up in front of you, palm facing away from you. Turn your arm around so that your palm is still facing you, but your fingers are pointing down. Slowly and carefully pull your hand backwards, by holding onto your fingertips with your right hand and pull them towards you. Also try making a fist and then rotating it in a circular motion.

But yeah, it will take awhile for you to actually get used to it. The stretches might hurt a little bit, but should at least help you go on for a few more minutes. You don't need to do those stretches, and shouldn't rely on it either, but for starters it should help out a bit. Have fun and good luck.

Type in some artists or songs onto one station, and listen to what comes up. Even though you can't rewind through a song, it's still there incase you wanted to write down the name and everything. Hope that helped and have fun.

This has worked for me, and hopefully will for you too. Steps 1-3 are for if you do not have iTunes.

Step 1: Open up internet explorer or anything you use and copy and past this web address: http://www.apple.com/itunes/

Step 2: Click on the 'Free Download' picture that is in the middle of the page.

Step 3: Choose the system you use [Windows or Mac] and press Download iTunes.

Step 4: After installation is complete, open iTunes and go to your library.

Step 5: Open up any or all music you'd like onto the library.

Step 6: Press the + button on the bottom to create a playlist, then give it a title.

Step 7: Open the library to display your music on iTunes, then click and drag the songs you want to burn onto that playlist. Once in the playlist you can rearrange them as you like.

Step 8: Once complete, press the 'Burn Disc' button on the upper right hand side.

Step 9: Insert blank CD.

Step 10: Let it finish, take out the CD, and you're done!


In my opinion, that would probably be the best because you don't need to purchase music or have an iPod to use it. Also, its a free download =) whereas other programs would cost you $30+. Hope that helped and good luck.

You should tell your parents. Say he's your friend and be honest about how you met him and about him and everything. It really is the best you could do - to tell them first. It would turn into a bigger situation if they both found out about him like because he just showed up at your house, you know? If you let them know how you feel about it, and show some responsibility and maturity about the distance circumstances, then chances are they wouldn't mind and would actually support you when they can. Your parents are there to help you and do whats best for you. Now if they think that it's not a good idea, then lay low for a bit and listen to them. I mean yeah, sounds stupid and probably not what you wanted to hear, but if they see that you are mature enough to understand where they are comming from and listen to them on whatever they say, then later on it'll be a lot easier and chances are they will give in one way or the other. As for wording it...just tell them that you met this guy and you like him. They'll probably drill you about him, so then thats when you answer all the questions, even the part about him being kind of far [trust me, thats nothing compared to a 2 hour drive]. So long as you are honest and mature about the friendship, then I don't see why they would not approve or even drive you out there sometime. There's always the possibility of meeting somewhere halfway, which would be 15 minutes or something. I was afraid of telling my parents too, but once I did I felt so relieved and everything. They were a bit skeptical about it, but I didn't try to force things on them or anything, which is what you have to remember to not do. Hope that helped and good luck.

One thing though: pay attention to where you save the program once you install it because that is going to be where the videos are saved after you transcode them. You can pretty much use any format on it, like a downloaded music video or a DVD movie (but the DVD movie has to be saved onto your computer [use a DVD ripper for that one]). Download that program and follow the easy steps: You'll find the video you want...
Transcode the video and wait for it to format...
Find the videos under the folder you saved Videora under (probaboy C/Program Files/Videora [look for this through My Computer])...

Hmm. Hopefully you already have an iPod that can hold the storage for the videos. If you do, try this:
Plug in your iPod
Open the folder(s) that has the videos you want to transfer
Go to My Computer and open up your iPod as a hard drive and click and drag videos into the iPod drive next to all the folders like Notes, Contacts, Calander, etc.
Wait for the videos to transfer onto your iPod as a regular file, then when you get your new computer, reverse the process and drag out the videos onto it.


Now if you don't have an iPod, then all of that was useless. So lets see...If you by any chance have a memory card, like one for digital cameras [like the memory duo disk or w/e its called] you might try putting that into your computer and load a video or more depending on how much it holds.
If that doesn't work, try using some kind of removeable disk, that you plug into a computer (usually through the USB Port). I doubt it would work if you tried burning it onto a CD, but you can definately tried - I havn't yet. See the thing is, it doesn't seem like you could use a CD - R/W, but you could always try it. Chances are it would be a DVD one...and if thats the case you would need a DVD RW burner.

First the videos will need to be on your computer. If they are on a DVD, you might want to find a DVD ripper that will put it onto your computer as a file. Once you have those files, or any other kind of video files, you will need to format them into what the iPod plays it in: .mp4

Type in some bands and songs you might like onto one radio station. They will play music similar to it, so you might not here the song you type in. You will hear it, just not right away. Its a radio station kind of, so you can't fast-forward or rewind in a song, but you can always skip it. Hope that helped.

Give him time and be there for him as a friend when he needs you. Does it mean that you both need to be boyfriend and girlfriend? No. Would it be nice? Of course. Sit him down and talk to him about it. If you've already done that or don't want to try, then try not to show so much that you are in love with him more than just a friend. Why? Well if he is shy then he might be taken back by your actions or the way you talk to him. If you really do love him and need him, then wait for him to come to you instead of making him feel like he needs to go - wait for him to want to on his own.

Trust me on this one - its 10x more difficult for guys to show/express their feelings than girls. Might he be afraid? Of course. Instead of just telling him to just do it and follow his feelings, tell him to sort it out and that you'd be willing to talk about whatever with him. I'm sure he'll come around with some time. Relax! Take a breather, you are still safe right now. The best thing you can do right now is to study and work hard in school and take it really seriously. One part colleges look at is your 3 year average of 9th, 10th, and 11th grade combined. A friend of mine had 84 and 87 his first two years [we are both juniors now] and he started to take things seriously and has right now a 92. He is having regrets for not taking his first two years seriously, because they do count. If you mess up one year, its not so bad, having at least one really strong year will help out a lot, and two will be significant. So yeah don't think that you should be taking courses or tutoring for like SATs or PSAT [which is like a practice SAT], because you havn't learned most of the stuff for like math, or verbal.

Don't worry, a majority, if not all schools tell you when to apply and what forms to fill and all of that. The process doesn't really start until junior year. The whole application process [which I think starts in spring of 11th] I'm not 100% sure about. Relax because a huge majority of college students don't know what they want to study or take even once they are in. Most colleges expect you to make a decision by sophmore year of college. Hope that helped. As for finacial aid, ask guidance couselors about that, because its all usually different. Good luck and stay strong...relax and have fun - just make sure you do your work and you'll be fine =)


P.S. - colleges really like to see commitment, such as volunteer work at a hospital or other places and things you do outside of school

Be open and willing to accept God's message. If you have a bible try this: open up to the gospel (in the New Testament, the books: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) and flip open to a random page and put your finger somewhere on the page. Read the scripture passage (they are usually short). Read it over a few times if you need to, and try to look for a message in the passage. There might not always be one, but whether there is or isn't, try to apply it to your life. Ask yourself: hmm has this happened to me? or can I do this? is there a lesson to be learned here?

I know its in the gospel, but I fogot which book. It goes something like this: "Don't be like the the pharasees and pray out loud in the church to be heard by all. Instead go to your room alone, lock the door, and pray by yourself." Patience and heart is sometimes all you need behind your prayers - whether it seems like it or not, your prayers are always being heard.
