HoweveR, if you have bRight Red haiR and you highlight it blonde... it will have some discoloRation. And wheneveR you fully dye the head you'll see some discoloRation... and afteR the second time you'll see some damage, and it will always be dRied out! I have daRk bRown haiR with caRamel/golden highlights, and I used HeRbal Essences at home highlight kit, which can be puRchased at WalgReens, CVS, EckeRd, Wal-maRt and so on, foR about $8.50. I love the way it looks!! The coloR stays in foR a Really long time, and it's so simple to do; I had my Mommie do mine foR me!! I don't have any discoloRation oR damage fRom it whatsoeveR!!!
