My boyfriend has acne, just like me. I'm not sure how to help him though since mine has cleared up more since I'm on BC [only thing that worked besides proactive]. I don't know what type of acne he has anyway. He's rather pale and his face is a bit pink/red :] So his acne is.. just many bumps with no white heads or anything. Sometimes he does get a normal zit with a white head. [Which is all I get, so I'm not sure how to help with the bumpy texture] It's all over on the bottom of his cheeks and chin, so any tips/advice? I think his most concern is his skin color. How do you get rid of the redness?
Any advice/tips? Please don't say proactive [not everyone can afford it]. Preferably something you used & gave great results with bumpy skin.
All I can give him is Clearasil Ultra products. Do you think that would work for the "acne" ? I have the on spot treatment, deep pore cleansing pads and daily face wash?
He's talked to me about his skin like 5 times so far so I guess it's his way of wanting my help. :]
A lot of teenagers have this problem. He has quite a few options. He should probably go see a Dermatologist. Even though there are various products he can try, everyone's skin is slightly different. I've been reading up on lip irecings, I've wanted one since 6th grade, and I'm now in 9th. (14/f) alright, well my grandmother won't take me to a professional due to one being so far, and she really doesn't want me to have one. My mother, well, she'll go all crazy on me if I get it done, but I don't live with her, so yeah, after the swelling/redness goes down, I can tell her its my fake one. Ok so the main point, I'm thinking of getting a piercing kit and letting my best friend do it. Please don't yell at me & tell me to do it professionally, as I said, I've been reading. I absolutely refuse to do it myself. I've read all the risks, but nowhere actually tells you the chances of these risks...Does anyone know? And if you pierced yourself, how'd it go ?
The risks are quite high. Mostly everyone I knew that had their lip pierced by a friend or even themselves had an infection & had to take it out. I think the risks are close to 50/50. Most likely, if you aren't a professional you won't be able to do it right. It isn't their job & they probably aren't experienced in it. It's also not very clean. At a shop, you are in a clean environment & it's sterilized. They have a permit for opening a shop to do it so therefore it's most likely safe. I'm not trying to talk you out of it because it is your lip. I'm just letting you know that there's a very high chance of you getting an infection. If you want to take that risk it's your decision. If it does become infected, go to the hospital so they can remove it correctly. Also, there's probably a good chance that she'll know it isn't fake. Fake piercings do not look like real ones.

You can definately get two phone plans, but it costs a lot more money. It is also annoying to do because then you'll have seperate phone bills. If your mom has one plan & you have another, you will most likely end up paying more money because you have two different contracts. If you were both on the same plan, it would be cheaper because you could share minutes/texts. It all depends on what plans you both want & how much money you are willing to spend. If you want more information, I would suggest talking to a representative or employee of each phone company. If you still want seperate plans but want to save money, you could buy cheaper phones.

How to forgive and forget people that hurts you so much? I've tried turning back on people who hurt me, and it seemed to work a lil but I need more than that. Because it seems like I'm just ignoring my problems. I've tried faking my own happiness so people wont see that i'm hurt, but I don't wanna be plastic either. So what's one way you can just forgive and forget?
This is probably one of the hardest things to do. You have to always think ahead to the future & do what's best for you. If you think someone is worth being in your life, even if they did hurt you before, forgive them & try to move on. If they aren't worth it, don't waste your time. You need to go by your feelings & learn how to choose your friends wisely. Family will always be family, so it should be easier for you to forgive them. You can choose your friends. If someone keeps hurting you or making things difficult, you should forget them & move on. You don't need people in your life who are mean & unsupportive.

me and my boyfriend has safe sex. we even use a condom. but while we were doing it. the condom broke, he said it didn't break when he stuck it in me. he said it broke once he took it out. which means it broke near my vagina. and there was no cum, skeet, or semin on the condom or when the condom broke. i'm just nervous, am i pregnant? i just have to make sure.
When you have sex, there is always a chance of pregnancy no matter what. Most likely, if there's no sperm, there's no chance of you getting pregnant. If you are worried about it, wait until it's time for your period. If you don't get it, take a pregnancy test. Even if you don't get your period, that doesn't necessarily mean your pregnant. You could just be nervous.

I'm not sexually active but I am in the Army and it is required for you to get a pap smear. I got one recently and it hurt so bad and they couldn't even finish it. Is this normal? I was saying OW OW OW OW the entire time. It was kind of embarrassing too. What should I do?
Completely normal. I heard it gets easier each time. It's just because you aren't used to it. If you were sexually active, obviously it would be a bit easier for you. I wouldn't suggest becoming sexually active just so you can feel better during your pap smear though. That would be stupid. Talk to your Gyno about it.

I would kill to have the new phone from Verizon called the Voyager. It's $350, which is totally and completely out of my budget right now. It did just come out, so is there any chance of the price dropping?
Most likely not. The holidays are coming up, so there could be sales & what not. You could always find it on places like Ebay & Google shopping, but I definately wouldn't recommend that. Maybe you could ask for it for Christmas?? You could also save up for it. The price might go down in a few months. I've heard a lot of complaints about it though & how it's really annoying to use, so you might want to make sure its the phone you really want.

i just got verizon and i have the internet. when i try to login to myspace on my phone i type my email and password and then i click go, and then i scroll down and it says you must be logged in to do that! and i know my password and email are right, because it says "hello andrea" so it knows its me haha. this happened on my qwest phone too, so i dont think its verizon. what should i do to be able to log in? thanks!

First off, who cares about bitches. So what, you wrote something in her yearbook, big deal. She seems extremely immature & not worth your time. Ignore her & whatever comments they make. It won't matter a few weeks from now anyway. Stuff like that passes & becomes forgotten. They're extremely immature. For your grades, just keep working hard & stay focused. Dedicate your time to studying & doing homework. It wouldn't be a bad idea going to a teacher for extra help. Explain to your parents how hard you have been working & if they don't believe you, reflect your hard work through your grades. Study when you need to & complete all of your assignments. With your love life, try talking to your mom. Ask her why she feels that way & if you can just be friends with him before you guys start dating.

I think you should seriously talk to him about it. Maybe he doesn't know that it bothers you. Maybe he's afraid of going off to serve & wants to make the best out of things. Regardless, he shouldn't pressure you into having sex. He might not realize what he is doing though. He is a guy & guys naturally want to have sex, most do at least. Discuss this with him & don't be afraid to explain your feelings towards the situation.

Ok so my grade had a school tryout all this week for basketball. At the end, I made the team but my best friend didn't make it. He did good and obviously should have made it. He is very upset and I don't know how to cheer him up. It was clearly a BS decision by the coach and everybody knows it. Please help.
I think you should just talk to him about it. Obviously everyone can't make the team, but that doesn't mean he's a bad player. Your coach could have made a bad decision. Explain how you still think he's really good & that he should continue with it. He doesn't have to play for your school or the same team as you. In every state, there's various recreational leagues & clubs that get teams together. Try searching it in google with your city & state. AAU is also a very good but competitive league he can try. If not, why not asking your coach if he could be the manager?? He might be upset that he doesn't get to play, but he could still be apart of the team & hang out with you & your teammates.

Do you have to visit a Gynocoligist [sp?] when you get birth controll pills?
If you go to a Gyno, you can definately be perscribed with birth control. It isn't the only way you can get birth control though. You can go to planned parenthood or some physicians. If you are sexually active, going to the Gyno for the pills would be your best option. Every pill works different for every girl, so the appointment would be about making sure everythings ok with you physically & perscribing the best pill for you.

Get to know him before you decide if he likes you or not. You won't be able to tell by if he talks to you or if he looks at you. You should start talking to him & become friends with him first. That's how you can tell. Start small talk about school or things going on with you or people you both know. Try smiling at him & just being overall friendly.

Be yourself. As long as you're friendly, things should go fine. Try not to be nervous. Just because you think he's gorgeous, doesn't make him better than you or any other person. He's a human like everyone else. Try talking to him with a group of your friends. You'll probably feel more comfortable talking to him & if things get awkward or the conversation isn't going anywhere, they can help you out. You'll probably be more outgoing with your friends there anyway.
