Many of my friends say that I am a good listener and advice giver. Because I have experienced many good and bad situations, I know what it is like to feel down or confused. I am a mother, daughter, sister, girl friend, and friend. And if I can't figure out how to answer a question, I'm sure I know someone who can. And I've come to notice that most of the questions people ask they already know the answer to, they just need a little reassurance. everytime i close my hand into a fist, something pops in every finger. it never hurts but im scared its something that'll lead to something ill need surgery with later...is this normal?

hey im 13/f, and i really want to get a second hole in my ear. hey!I was just at blockbuster and i just saw like the hottest boy ever! and like he was totally checking me out cuzi saw him and i was checkin him out and we were like walkin by eachother all througout blockbuster...its funny tho cuz it was really awkward cuz we didn't say anything. Ok i have Black heads... they are like HUGE pores... does anyone know how to get rid of black heads.. the thing i did was pop them... but there is to many! any suggestons..

First off... DONT POP, Popping is the worst thing you can do. it makes your pores larger
and causes blemishes.
Now listen to me clearly... I suugest you do this before bed or getting in the shower.

1. boil a bowl of water in the microwave until it is hot and steamy and place it at
a table where you can sit.
2. sit at the table with a towel. place the towel over your head and the bowl. make sure there is no air getting in there.
3. stay for like 10 mins. the steam opens your pores so that all the gunk can come out
4. wash your face with a face scrub. (st. ives is good, but any scrub will do. they lift all the dirt, oil, and dead skin cells from your face.
5. apply an astrigent. (i think clean&clear brand works the best. use the strongets formula)
6. go to sleep
7.when you wake up wash your face with the scrub again. make sure you rinse you face with cold water when you are done because cold water closes up your pores so nothing can get in them.
8. apply powder. powder will keep any dirt or oil from getting in your pores. i suggest cover girl brand, and use the one that is hypo allergetic or for sensitive skin. dont use coverup or liquid make up, even the ones that say oil free still clog up your pores. just apply a small ammount of powder eevnly on your face.
9. put the rest of your make up on if you use anything else, but remember no liquid.

if you play sports or when you have gym, basically anytime you get all sweaty, afterwards, wash your face, it doesnt have to be with scrub if you dotn feel like carrying with it, it can just be a mild soap, and then apply the powder again. that powder is like a shield for your face, no joke.

if you stick with this process, you will see results. i know its alot, but i think its worth it. i like it because it is a pretty natural approach to fxing the problem, rather than getting presciption medicines.

what is face astringent?

its this stuff, that i think is really good for pimples and acne. its like a liquid you apply to your face. it comes in CLEAN&CLEAR brand. there are a bunch of different formulas for it, for different types of skin. they sell it at any pharmacy or drug store. try it. i like it.

they all work very well. its all a matter of keeping up with them though. so many people start doing them, and dont stay dertemined with it, so it doesnt really do anything for them. Personally i prefer running. but, just chose the one that you feel you will most confortable doing, cuz they are all good ways to loose weught.

hey guys! i got my hair chemically straightened with my cuzin back in march. my hair doesnt really dry straight from it though. its kinda wavy when it used to be loose curls. i still have to straighten it which used to take me an hour now its like 20 mins. but my cuzins hair dries straight .. mine doesnt. my hair took to the chemicals real fast so they didnt let it sit in my hair as long as they should have. ok well getting to the point.. i have to get my roots straightened again soon and i was wondering if i should say something to them and if so.. what should i say?

well those people know what they are doing. if they took it out earlier than your cousins, it was cuz your hair took to it faster, and that means that leaving it in longer may have damaged it or made it fall out. her hair probably dires straight and not yours because your hair is alittle different than hers. so, when you go to get your roots touched up, just let them do thier jobs, cuz they know what they are doing.

Just basically tell her, that he is a part of your life. Not hers. And if you choose to deal with the stuff you are going through with him , than that is your business. I met my current boyfriend at the beginning of summer. We have been off and on many times. I'm 15 and he's turning 16 soon.
