hey im 13/f, and i really want to get a second hole in my ear. My dad told me he would convince mi mom i could after mi bat mitzvah, but he didnt. mi mom said it would be mutilating my body(even tho i already hav 1st holes). what should i do? i mean, im a "teenager" and i feel i have the right to get my ears pierced(again). please help! what should i do? signed,

i hav the same problem! my mom sed i could get a second hole but my dad doznt want me 2. try explainin 2 ur mom how much u want them or wait until ur older. wen i go 2 da mall w. mi mom she says i can get them done w.o even askin mi dad. n e way tell them how u feel they r ur familu. good luck ~plz rate~

let yoru mom know that this is a decision that you have decided and not just following the latest craze, Unless that i what youa re doing! i have many peircings 13 in total but becasue i wear them elegantly my parents are not too upset by it! Just don't do stuff behind there back, it will only lead to mistrust!

sit down with your dad and tell him why you want to get your ears pierced! i was 8 with the 2 nd hole

Hah, when I was 13, I had 3 holes done on each side and one on top and a barbell thing. Anyways just tell them that you are old enough to get atleast your second hole. It's not a biggie.

ask your dad why he lied, then guilt him into taking you down to the piercing shop and giving the permission himself.

You shouldnt go around your parents ... very bad idea do what i did wait til your 18 and go crazy tatoos other percings but those 6 years if you go around you parents they WiLL make it hell for you so just wait

Parents are stupid like that, as you get older they stop caring, right now i have my bottom holes peirced and two cartlage peircing and going back for a third one... they'll stop caring as you get older... but for now i guess you gotta deal with it. I know it sucks i was the same way!

ok... im 13 and i couldnt get my second holes till i was 12... and its not mutialating your body really because if u got ur first holes wuts wwrong with second ones... u should have a face to face talk about it with ur mom and your dad and explain all of the good things about it and try not to argue too much beleive me... but yea tell them that u r only going to get seconds not 5 more because they do look really cute! best of wishes and lots of luck!!!! ;)

Well... I've never really been in that situation. I'm 17... I had my ears peirced 3 times by 13... Maybe you should wait a little longer. as you get older your parents will respect the fact that you want to look better.. and it won't "mutilate" ur body.

well one..everyone has ONE hole..so thats normal to have 1 in each ear..your 13..you dont have the "right" to pierced anything with out a parent..inless your 18..my mom said the same thing im just a year older then you and I just got my 1st hole re-done (as of let them close up and get them re-done in the same spot)..my mom doesnt like have both my sisters have 3 holes in each ear..it just sicken's her..and she also doesnt like 1 of my sister havin her belly button pierced..so sry to say..but thats just life hun..try mayb askin her to just get another hole right above the one on your left ear..- hope I helped

Well, I have my left cartilage pierced, and 6 other piercings on my ears. Umm, I just begged my mom, my dad didn't care. I told her I would help her around the house. Just help your mom and she might let you get your ears pierced again! Hope I helped :)
