Well, if you turned it on regular heat, they might suffocate from lack of oxygen. They might get heat stroke because it's hot. They'd be pretty banged up, bruises, broken bones. Possibly a broken spine / neck because of the way the dryer turns. I would NOT suggest putting another person in the dryer, or getting in the dryer yourself. Not a fun trick.

okay well my boyfriend and i just like started dating or whtever.And like when he asked me out and everything i really really liked him.. well after like a couple of days i kinda had a weird feeling and like i didnt really like him anymore.. so i asked a couple of people what they thought about us and like if i should break up with him, cuz like i was ignoring his calls and i really didnt want to talk to him.. well like after a while i was gonna tell him that i just wanted us to be friends.. and so i waited for his call, and waited and waited.. well he never ever called and like i tried calling but no one answered.. well like now i realy do like him i guess i was just scared i would get hurt so i was pushing him away..well i duont know whats wrong, i dont know if hes mad at me and like he hasnt called in like 3 weeks and theres no other way i could talk to him.. so what should i do and is he mad at me... i am soo sooo confused.. please help me i really like him... and i dont want to lose him and he wont answer his phone so i dunno.. thnks soo soo srry for the length.. **hearts** (link)

I think you were probably "infatuated" with him. Puppy-love. Superficial. Surface only. Now, now, don't get angry with anyone, you are not alone in this. Hundreds of teens are going through the same thing. They meet the boy. Boy is cute. Boy is smart. Boy is funny. Boy asks girl out. Girl says yes. Boy and Girl go out for a while. Girl realizes she doesn't like Boy that much after all. Girl is afraid to annul the relationship because it might hurt Boy. Boy has no idea what is going on. Girl is afraid, thus she isolates herself from her friends and family - including Boy. Boy is afraid he did something to make Girl mad, so he doesn't call. Girl wants to call of the relationship. Girl calls Boy. Boy is now angry and frightened, so he does not return Girl's phone calls. Girl leaves messages on Boy's cell phone. Boy decides to call Girl back. Girl explains that she wants to take a "break." ... blah blah blah. You know the rest. Hundreds of kids (teens) go through this every day. They think the person they met is the best person EVER, like the Santa Clause of teenagers! If that's what happened, you're in good company.
I would suggest calling his cell and leaving a message, or calling his house and leaving a message. Sound happy, polite, ask that he call you back. If he doesn't call, 'shop around' with your friends and try and find his SN or E-mail address. You've got to get in touch with him somehow. If you can't find anything, look for him at school (if y'all go to the same school). If you can't get in touch with him, keep calling his house/cell (like.. twice or three times a week) and ask that he call you back each time. When you do get in touch with him, apologize for not talking to him etc. and tell him that you'd like to :
1. Take a 'break'
2. Break up with him
3. Be "friends"
I just don't think it's a great idea for you two to be together if you don't like him that much, you know. Sorry if I didn't help much. :-\

There are very good odds that the child will be either MALE or FEMALE. Honestly there's a 50/50 chance of either. [Though there are more girls in the world than boys...]
We're not psychic, so I'd suggest your sister should go to the doctor or a clinic and have an ultrasound done. The doctors will then be able to tell her what sex her child will be. If all of her children are the same sex (i.e. - all are male or all are female) then there is a very high chance that the next baby will be the same sex as his/her brothers/sisters.

I've seen this too. It is probably one of these reasons :
1. They're klutzy and spilled mac&cheese on their shirt.
2. The shirt is defective.
3. They wet their pants.
4. They sat in a chocolate pie. (this has happened. I know someone who did this!)
5. It's the "cool" thing to do.
I think it's that last one. Though, if the shirt has something (sequins etc.) on it, that might hurt. And how do they zip their pants!? ... the world may never know.

Your boyfriend should be your best friend. :-) I think you should go out with him. You're good friends with him, you REALLY know him. You have a better chance of 'hitting it off' with him because of this. Talk to him and discuss your fears. If he understands your fears and helps you, and agrees to stay friends with you EVEN IF you break up, I'd say go for it! Go out with him. Most of the time when people are good friends like that, a break up is more mutual. It's more understood. I think you should go for it. :-)

Alright so my boyfriend and I have been going out for about a month. He went away to camp for a week last week. I missed him like crazy and couldn't stop thinking about him. So on saturday I called him and left a message. A couple of hours I got a picture sent to my cell phone of him. At first I was like WTF? Because he was leaning up against a wall and he had his legs bent and kinda of spread...and then one of his hands was between his legs. Since it was taken from a cell phone the graphics are horrible...so it's not crystal clear. But I freaked out because it looked he was masturbating (and i found that disgusting, like do it on your own time but don't tell me). My friend called him and was asking wtf was up with the picture. I'm a lot more calm about it now, but I want to know how to bring it up with him...without making him think that i don't like him anymore and without making too much of an awkward moment. He might not have taken the picture? Maybe someone else from the camp took the picture and sent it? That has happened before. I don't really like camera phones sometimes. I have a friend who has a camera phone. At my church, we had 'messy games night' and people had to put their faces in a rice casserole and dig Jolly Ranchers out. This particular friend of mine took pictures of several members of the youth group. I know my friend isn't going to sell them online or anything, but other people might. Perhaps someone else took the picture. If not, maybe you should ask him to only send pics from the waist up? Ask who took the picture and go from there. If he did take the picture, then he made the awkward moment. Perhaps he didn't realize he was sending that picture? Maybe he ment to send another picture? Who knows. You'll just have to ask him. Be gentle though. Oh, and be glad you picked the phone up! Imagine what could've happened if your mom, dad or a sibling had picked it up! Talk about awkward!

(13//f) ok well i have had my period before and yesterday i got it and i was bleeding like a ton. usually when i first get it, i only bleed a little and it is dark brown. but yesterday it was blood and a lot of it! and i ran out of pads so i put a tampon in and when i went to the bathroom an hour later there wsas blood all over my pantilyner ( i always wear them when i wear a tompon) so i took the tampon out and i didnt even have to like pull! it was sooo full of blood! is this normal? i know that it could have been my heavy day but normally they arent that bloody! and now it is just as bloody as yesterday!...is this normal??
please help ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

No, that's perfectly normal. Usually you'll have one or two light days, two heavy days, and one or two light days. If you're using junior tampons, you will have to change more frequently because they don't hold as much. Using a pantyliner is an excellent idea (I do it also). Trust me, your body is still young, going through many changes. Your periods will be irregular for probably a year or so, maybe more. Don't worry, you're 100% normal. Simply change your tampon more frequently, and if your mom thinks it's okay, you might want to try a higher absorbancy level. But, because you're young (and probably small) you might not be able to "fit" a size larger. :-b It's okay, I have heavy days when I have to change like every 2 1/2 - 3 hours, and days when I don't have to change but every 5-6 hours. It's normal. :)

A 1'' CHI flat iron. Best flat iron out there. :-D It heats up in 10 seconds, gets up to 400 degrees. It has ceramic plates so it straightens quickly. If it gets too hot (over 400 degrees) it shuts itself off. You can get them brand new from eBay for between $65-100 and you can buy them from an online company for around $112. I got mine - brand new - from eBay.

Pretty much anything with ceramic plates will do, but CHI holds up the longest. ConAir didn't work for me. If I don't do anything to my hair, it looks like I've been shocked! If the straightener does what it does to my hair (straight!) it will work for you. For sure.

Gargle (not swallow) some hydrogen peroxide a few times a day. Your tounge is one of the fastest places to heal. Though it might sting some, the peroxide will kill any germs / bacteria and promote healing. If you have cuts on your gums, you can put teething gel [for babies] on it, but I wouldn't put it on your tounge. Don't worry, it might be painful now, but it'll soon heal.

ok i know this is a little gross. but for a few years now, every once in a while i will get scabs on my scalp, and when i scratch my scalp then sometimes white stuff (not dandriff) ends up under my fingernails. what is this and hwo do i treat it? (link)

There is a possibility that it is dandruff. Sometimes your scalp will become so dry that it cracks (thus the scabs) and the white stuff is dead skin. There is also a possibility that it is shampoo build up. I know that sounds icky, but there is a possibility. Before my sister really knew how to wash her hair, she'd only be able to rinse some of the shampoo out. The shampoo would dry on her scalp, and dry her scalp out (scabs) and if she scratched her head, there was white stuff under her nails. The same thing could happen with conditioner. Make sure to scrub your head REALLY good and rinse it out extremely well. Perhaps use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, but don't leave it in longer than the bottle says to. Make sure to get all of the shampoo and conditioner out of your hair, and rinse with cold water. [I mean as cold as you can absolutely stand it. It's better for your hair] If things don't get better, talk to your hairdresser. He'll / she'll know what's going on.

ONLY as self defense. If the kid that hits your child is simply playing or isn't going to hit him again, don't tell him to hit the other child. Always try to use a different method before physical contact. Yell, scream, tell the teacher / adult in charge etc. etc. If your child were to hit another child and accidentally hurt / draw blood, you could be in a lot of trouble. I believe it's a better idea to teach self defense only when necessary, and to always try and reason with the other child first. And if that does not work, to tell an adult, scream etc. before hitting.

I love my Converse Chuck Taylors. THE BOMB. :-D I also have a pair of New Balance shoes - style 991. If you're looking for comfortable 'punk' shoes, check out some skate shoes, or Converses. To me, my Converses are the best shoes ever. Like seriously. I know someone who was going to wear yellow Converses to the spring formal [prom] because her dress was yellow. But she couldn't find any, so she dyed some white skate shoes yellow. :-D If you're looking for athletic comfort, seek New Balance. They're good athletic shoes. Just good tennis shoes, and they're not terribly expensive.

I know you guys arent doctors. And I'm going to go to the doctors soon for a physical. But I have this red thing on the shin of my leg. It's not raised, and it doenst itch. It just seems like dry skin. Pinkish/red. Ive had it for like 2 or 3 weeks. It used to be the size of a dime, now its the size of a quarter. Once again, it's not raised. But I'm just wondering if anyone had the same thing, and that it is. thanks. (link)

It could be ringworm or eczema. When you go for your physical, ask specifically about it. The doctor will be able to diagnose it. If it's ringworm, they'll perscribe a simple lotion/pill to help rid your body of it, or if it's eczema, they'll give you something for that.
