Yo.
Let friends and family know about it and put fliers up around town. Talk to your friends and maybe you could babysit together. You could also take a babysitting class, i've never taken one before, but i think that they might teach you how to start a business. And they tell you what to do in emergencies, CPR, etc.

Hey!
K so, I got a new babysitting job this weekend, and I havnt met the kids yet. All I know is that they are a three year old boy and a five year old girl. I have to babysit for about 6 hours, from 11 am to 5 pm. and I'm not sure if they are going to take a nap or not, but I need to try and find some things to do with them. Like I can take them out in the back yard and stuff, but six hours is a long time. Is there anything I can bring to get through the boring parts of the day? Oh, ps, it's supposed to rain, so I kinda doubt I will be able to take them outside for very long.

If the kids are close to the same age then they will probably be interested in the same things. Finger painting, TV, movies, board games, yes going outside is fun but if it will rain then it might not be a good idea. Hide-n-seek, and if you tire them out then they probably will want a nap. You could also try follow the leader, simon says and if they have a computer and some kids games, then they could always do that.

I was babysitting this ten year old... he was bein a brat and wouldnt go to sleep... my girlfriend was there and we couldnt have any time alone... so we had coke n we did it cause we were gonna have to stay up to watch him... he said he wanted to try so we let him... he started running around and actin like an indian... we got a pipe and some pot and smoked... he wanted to try but when he did he coughed n said he didnt want to do it... i told him if he didnt he would die... so we smoked 3 bowls with him and he got sleepy and went to bed... I feel bad that i gave this kid drugs... His parents never found out... what should i do??? (link)

Before you babysit for someone, I would take a babysitting course; you learn what to do in an emergency, CPR, etc. You might get a certificate for participating, so you could show that to the parents to proove that you have learned what to do. For being shy, you could have your parents throw in your name or amke flyers to put up around town.

So hi! I am having a sleepover with my best friend when she gets back from vacation and I need some really good ideas to take her mind off of things. I've got a pool so we can swim and of course we'll watch movies, but, thats all I can think of. She has been through alot with some other friends and she complains that her summer sucks. I wish I could take her on a trip with my family but we can't afford it. So, anyone have any ideas of things we could do together to maybe cheer her up a bit?
I don't know if it means anything but we're both 16/F and she has her license already. But don't be so quick to suggest we drive somewhere because my mom may not be up for that. But feel free to list anything you think of, even if it involves driving.

~ Spa night- buy face masks and do nails and stuff
~ Make your own food- pizzas, cookies, brownies
~ Stay up late and watch stupid shows- watch old TV shows all night and eat a lot of popcorn and junk food
~ Go to a near by amusment park for a day

im a pretty friendly person i guess... i like talking to people and i always try to be really nice to everyone. so i talk to a lot of different people on myspace, AIM and texting. but when i start talking to guys and get to know them, sometimes they end up thinking that i like them. and then they start liking me. its not like im being flirty or anything, i just talk about normal stuff. so im not leading them on or anything. but i feel really guilty, cuz i just like them as friends (and btw i do have a bf). sometimes i think, maybe i shouldnt talk to guys at all, cuz it will only make them think i like them. is it possible to talk with guys and just be friends? or do they always end up wanting it to be more? Ot's easy for people of the same gender to be friends, girls friends with girls, blah blah blah.
Of course you should keep talking to them. You aren't being flirty at all. You aqre just being the friendly person that you are. I talk to a lot of guys and we are pretty good friends. We talk to each other in school and on IM and no one thinks that we are being flirty. If people think that, then tell them that you are just friends and nothing more. Obviously, your boyfriend doesnt seem to mind. If he starts to have a problem with it, then you should talk to him and tell him that you only want to be friends with these guys and nothing more, just friends. Keep on talking to the guys, as they say, you can never have too many friends, no matter what gender. You should keep being friendly to people and keep giving out kindness :) :) :) :)

Awhile ago i asked about getting a puppy
I've got my mom totally convinced but its my step dad that won't even budge.
My step dad (i do love him, just hate his rules) is strict in a weird way. ex. I can't draw on the sidewalk with chalk for the sake our house costs 300,000 dollars and is far to nice.. but yet i dont have a curfew on the weekend or school week
Anyways, we're bring it up to him again tuesday night so if people could give me great things to say please do
I also do not have my license and live in the far out country so i can stay home and be with it alot. (i also got approval for it to travel with me to my dads house)

Tell your step dad that you will take care of the dog, feed it, walk it, clean up after it, etc. Say that dogs are great companions for kids and adults. Chihuahas are tiny, so you could mention that there wouldnt be any problems with spavce...

There are always home crafts. Make pillow cases or t-shirts or something. You can eat off the floor for plates and sip from the lake for drinks! haha just kidding but Wal- Mart does have a lot of party stuff for like a $1 or something. You could rent some scary movies and get a box of popcorn. Or, this may not be a huge big blast party-of-the-year thing, but hanging out, gossiping and chilling are always cool too.

I used to be friends with everybody. & Everyone. No one hated me nothing. But then I had this party really big one, where people couldnt get in, and I hooked up with a guy. There were tons of people there 227 to be exact. Then all of a sudden after that no one has wanted to talk to me. I dont know what to do? You should definatly not kill yourself. And the whole, ask people to hang out thing is not bad at all. That, I think, is the right way to go. Just keep strong. Try talking to your parents or friends. Or even a guidence counsler (if your in school) or theropist if you arent.

Okay. I wrote this essay. I checked my grade a few days later and noticed I got a zero for it.
I emailed the teacher and asked her why I got a zero... Because I know I turned it in and there's no way I couldn't have gotten any credit for it.
And she said. "I don't know....my mistake? Please show me the essay again so I can reenter your score."
So I printed it again and gave it to her the next day.
And it seems I wasn't being clear because apparently she meant she wanted the [graded] essay back.
But I never did get the first essay back.
I did turn it in on the day it was due. I remember giving it to her and seeing it on a pile on her desk.
So... She must've lost it...?
I told her this today and it doesn't seem like she'll change the grade.
I don't think it's fair at all because I worked very hard on the it.
The original grade was 40/50 but because she seems to think I didn't turn it in the day it was due, it's "late" so the final score is 20/50.
I don't know what to do... I have no proof that I turned it in on that day. The people sitting by me probably didn't pay attention. (link)

That is totally unfair. If the teacher lost it and you worked so hard on it, why is your grade that bad?? I would say try talking to your parents about what happened and then try and get them to talk to your teacher about it. If that doesnt work, maybe ask the princible about it and even ask to retake the test so the teahcer grades it, hands it to you and she doesnt 'lose' it.(Or, you could see if the people sitting near you did see you, but i mean that probably wouldnt work, since you did say that they probably werent paying attention when you handed it in. But if they did you could get them to tlk to the teacher with you.)

i am 14/f
this question is about someone i know, he is either 14 or 15, i'm not sure. i'll call him bob for now.
well -- during school, hes a good student. he kisses up to some teachers, you know, the teachers pet. he gets good grades and everything. he's a pretty nice person.
after school, he hangs out with one of MY friends, who is a normal person, meaning he has no influence on bob. bob gets abusive at times, fighting with my friend and my friend's brother, physically. bob even yells at my friends dogs.
he thinks he's all that.
my friend said he saw tons of nasal sprays, cough medicines, etc, on bob's night stand (he wasn't sick and it was random medicines) but he also saw some chewable tablets in bob's brother's room so i'm not sure if its a big deal.
bob hates almost everyone and almost everyone hates bob.
my friend sent me a conversation him and bob had on aim.my friend wasn't answering bob on aim so bob said "you're talking to (my name), aren't you?" bob told my friend that he hates me and my best friend, we're witches, we're going down in hell, etc. and he told MY FRIEND that hes going down WITH US. he said "get out while you can".
my friend has considered not being friends with bob. if he does this, bob's mom knows almost everyone else's parents, and whenever something happens, bob's mom tells everyone and everyone finds out about it. once, when my friend told bob he was tutoring, bob told his mom, and everyone started saying: "OMG, ARE YOU TUTORING FOR $50 AN HOUR???"
my questions are:
1. are his actions normal, or does he has a serious problem? (bipolar, etc.)
2. my friend has asked me if he should continue being friends with bob. what should i tell him?

alright well..
one of my friends has very strict parents. so they were looking at her search history and found her myspace. they also found mine.
i'm not aloud to have a myspace. my parents made it very clear that if i had one, i'd be in deep trouble. i wouldnt be allowed on the computer for a long time and when i am allowed to my parents would watch my every move. so on AIM, i cant talk to anyone about private stuff.
i deleted my account already but i dont know what to do. my friends dad said hes going to tell my parents. her dad is going to say he saw it a few days ago so there's no hiding that i actually did have one.
i really don't know what to do. i don't want to get in trouble and loose my computer rights. last resort would be to come clean but i don't want to have to do that. i need to get out of this situation. i really need help, and FAST!! please, does anyone have any advice?

You really do have to come clean with your folks. If they found out that you lied from someone else, then i would think they would be really mad. If you could just explain to ypur parents, well maybe they would go a little easier then you think. I would think that coming clean would be your best bet. Try to put yourself in your mom/dad's shoes. What would you do if you found out your child had a MySpace, but not from your child, but someone else. What would you do? Would you prefer them to come clean, or just "let this one slide"? I think coming clean would still keep your parents angry, but i also think that it would actually make them a little bit happy, knowing that you could come clean about a situation like this. Come clean. I think that you may still be in trouble, but i do think that your parents would respect you fro being honest.

As you may have seen, just today I asked a question on being bullied by older girls. I was punched in the back of the head today but didn't fight back. I don't want to fight, I knew I would lose or get ganged up on.
Before this, I had a perfect life, but I wanted to be a good person. Just a little fear of bad karma from the "usual" backstabbing, etc. Today, everything went wrong.
My "best friends" excluded me from everything. The last time they did this is lasted for months, they are not good friends and I want to get away from them.
There was this guy who I hadn't seen for months but we always talked on the phone. We hung out over the weekend and that went badly and I don't like him anymore.
I also used to like a couple of guys. It turned out they just wanted sex and I deserve better than that. But I thought they were still okay friends, but they started saying really mean stuff over the computer to me. They said I have a hot body but ugly face, etc. They are jerks and I have no reason to waste my time on them.
Today, I've been called every bad name in the book. I think this has all happened for the better. I want to end these bad relationships. I don't want to get physically hurt (which I'm worried about right now) but I know a little emotional pain will make me stronger.
In the past, my "best friends" of ten years all of a sudden went against me and tried to "make my life a living hell." I left them all.
The thing is, I don't know how to end these situations. I want to just be a good person, not fight back and re-establish myself without having a completely ruined reputation.
I don't know how to avoid being beaten up by the grade eleven girls. My school isn't that big, and I know everyone in my grade. I don't have any options for new friends.
I have three best friends (from different groups, they hardly know eachother) and I know they could help me emotionally.
Just.. what do I do? I'm an optimist and I am confident that if I make it through this without being beaten up or raped I will be a better person.

I think that its great you dont try to solve your problems with physical violence. :) To solve that retarded boy thing, ignore it. If you have IM when you were talking to them over the computer, then block them. If you have a MySpace and they talk to you, delete them from your friend list. As for the back stabbing friends, then i would say if they were really your friends, then they would help you in your time of need, so if they wanna be stuck up snobs then they can but it looks to me that they are missing out on being great friends with a good person. Now to what seems to be the biggest problem, the bullying. Try talking to your parents or a trusted teacher. School guidence coulnslers work as well. Or, you could always try theropy. Those 3 friends that you know will be there for you, you should try and hang out with as much as possible. If that is not an option, try making new friends by joining clubs in your school or in your town.
