Yo.
Let friends and family know about it and put fliers up around town. Talk to your friends and maybe you could babysit together. You could also take a babysitting class, i've never taken one before, but i think that they might teach you how to start a business. And they tell you what to do in emergencies, CPR, etc.
Hope I helped!!

if you want to start babysitting but dont know how to get into it.. let your friends and family friends know your keen to babysit, you could also make flyers with all your details on them and ask to put them in shop windows, in letterboxes or get your parents to take some to work for you...
hope you start babysitting soon.

Do you have neighbors with young kids?

What I did was make up a flyer that had all my info on it, name, number, age, and I put them in my neighbors mailbox. If you do this, make sure you have your parents OK first.

Also if you are involved in a church, you can pass out some flyers there. Or get involved in the nursery if it has one. Ive gotten many offers from mom's since Ive been working there.

I would also suggest taking a babysitting class to learn the basics in case of emergency, or stuff like that.

Best of luck!

Just post flyers in your neighborhood or in areas around it, saying your name and number and that you are good with kids or something like that and hopefully you'll get a few calls. You could also put flyers in peoples mailboxes.

Well, in hospitals they have a babysitting program were you recieve a certificate wen you r done. Wen I started I copied the certificate and gave it to people I kno. If you cant find a hospital that does those things then juss print out flyers and wen people call tell them ur grades and how you can handle babysitting.

i'm 14 and i babysit, i got my job when my mom's friend told her she needed a babysitter. you should ask your mom if she has anyfriends who need babysitters. also, i put up fliers and put them in mail boxes, but the respond wasn't too good.
if you are going to put up a flier it should say:
Babysitting Opportunites
Mature, responsible, reliable 14 year old girl looking for a babysitting opportunity in the neighborhood. if interested, please call (111)111-1111
thats what my fliers said.
hope i helped

for babysitting you could place an ad in the paper.
or post signs up around your neighborhood.
possibly ask family first if you can babysit && neighbors..

I'm very impressed with your inquiry as I'm an early learning childhood development assistant, with a psychology degree. It's very very rewarding.I'm a little unsure of how to advise you directly. Im not sure where you are from. But where i am from (victoria australia) you cannot legally get a job til you're 14yrs 9mnths of age....thats legally ofcourse, but thats not exempting you from private babysitting. What I can advise is that you make your interest known.....tell your friends, family, your families friends, look on the net for sites relevant to babysitting/nannying, or even put an ad in the paper. Soon enough the word will get around-and fingers crossed-you may soon be running around after little dynamites who have found your new lip gloss!! Good luck, I'd hire you for my 2 year old girl if i could. email me if u need some more help x
