Slumber Party! So hi! I am having a sleepover with my best friend when she gets back from vacation and I need some really good ideas to take her mind off of things. I've got a pool so we can swim and of course we'll watch movies, but, thats all I can think of. She has been through alot with some other friends and she complains that her summer sucks. I wish I could take her on a trip with my family but we can't afford it. So, anyone have any ideas of things we could do together to maybe cheer her up a bit?
I don't know if it means anything but we're both 16/F and she has her license already. But don't be so quick to suggest we drive somewhere because my mom may not be up for that. But feel free to list anything you think of, even if it involves driving.
Thanks Alot!

yall could get all dressed up and give eachother make-overs.. than go to the movies.. or out to dinner or something.
oorr make movies.. thats always funny.
or you can bake things because its always a fun experience lol.
try to be creative! and just be random!
im sure yall will have fun :) ]
Yo.
Here are a couple things that you guys could always do.
~ Spa night- buy face masks and do nails and stuff
~ Make your own food- pizzas, cookies, brownies
~ Stay up late and watch stupid shows- watch old TV shows all night and eat a lot of popcorn and junk food
~ Go to a near by amusment park for a day
Hope I helped!!!

Maybe you could have other friends come over and get into some kind of pool game? Like water volleyball or something? (Of course not with the friends she's having problems with...) And then you can have the rest of the night to just yourselves, watching movies, doing your hair, and what not.
Below is a link to a page of swimming pool games. I think they were written there for things to do with younger kids, but I thought some of them looked like they would be fun for all ages.
Maybe you will see something that would be fun to do with some friends. (The 'Get Dressed' game sounds like it would probably be hilarious! I think I would want to have a turn as the judge, camera in hand... LOL)

-cook food (brownies, home-made pizzas, cupcakes, maccaroni, even experiement dundun dunnnn)
-do a spa night (paint nails, do face masks)
-to spice up your movie watching experience, you could choose a theme to your movies (horror, disney, maybe a series)
-i don't know if yall are into this, but me and my friend used to watch this dance choreography movie and learn all the moves.. hah..
-kind of lame, but there's always board games/card games
don't "plan" too many things though and make it structured because that can turn out boring.
good luck- ]
I know you said your mom might not be up for the driving, but a really fun thing to do is like Mini Golf, or Bumper Cars. I know it sounds stupid, but it's really fun when your with your and it takes your mind of off everything. Especially bumper cars. I hope I could help, and I hope you can cheer her up! xox ]
