so, im getting a puppy. a chihuahua. shes only 5 weeks,(6 weeks saturday) and she started eating by herself, so i might get her this weekend. well anyways, i like the name Stella. But when people ask me her name, i say Stella, and they give me a weird look. i think the name is cute.
so my first question. do you think the name is cute?
and can anyone think of cute unique dog names. oh and if you couldnt tell, shes a girl.. haha

Go get her. Bring her home. Spend a day and night with her. Watch HER personality, watch HER behavior and antics, let HER name come to you. [ AskJR's advice column | Ask AskJR A Question ]

Teza answered Tuesday April 10 2007, 7:51 pm: I love unique names for puppies & I personally love the name Stella. That's what I call my best friend lol. If you like that name, name your puppy that. It's YOUR dog and if people don't like it, who cares. I also love the name Bella for a chihuahua. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
StarryNightSkies answered Tuesday April 10 2007, 7:51 pm: It's illegal to have a puppy under 8 weeks old because it still needs it's mother. So wherever you are getting her from probably isn't the best place because if they are willing take illegal actions and sell/give away puppies at that age then I can insure you that puppy won't last as long as a dog who was with their mother until they were 8 weeks old.
TinkerbellsHelp answered Tuesday April 10 2007, 7:49 pm: Aw. I think Stella is a cute name. And I think it fits a chihuahua.
For dog names, I think its hard to name dogs until you see them. I think you should come up with the name since its your dog and you know what you like and everything but I'll give you some ideas.
2blonde4words answered Tuesday April 10 2007, 7:47 pm: I just got a puppy on saturday! He is half chihuahua. I named him Otis. YAY FOR PUPPIES! Now for the question. I think that Stella is a cute name. I have a cat named David and people always give me dirty looks when I say what his name is. I dont think that you should care what other people think. Your the one that is going to live with her (your new pup...) I like the name Stella anyways...its a cute little girly dog name. Have fun with your new puppy no matter what you name her. :) [ 2blonde4words's advice column | Ask 2blonde4words A Question ]
