I'm a 16 year old girl who's been dating this guy I'm fully in love with for around 7 - 8 months. We're both still virgins but we've talked about losing our virginity to each other. Like sometimes it worrys me because I know in my heart that it's a sin to have sex before marriage, but we've talked about it & with our friends as well, and we all figured out that if you ask God for his forgiveness, he will accept it. I just want opinions on this.. do you think it's okay to have sex at 16 if you're mature & ready enough? I mean, what's the point in waiting until you're married? I know one reason is because it can be a sin and then another is because there's a possibility of having a baby, but if you're sexually "safe" with condoms & birth control, then you're chances are very slim to none for having a child. I agree with you completely. I feel the same exact way with my boyfriend. I am madly in love with my boyfriend of 10 months, I would never leave him for another guy, I would do anything for him, and vice versa, but we've decided to be chaste, not only for the religious reasons, but also because if you start having sex early in a relationship, it can change things. If you get emotionally attached, and God forbid, one of you are unfaithful, think about how heartbreaking that could be. Also, if you have sex, it can get old/boring, and I dont want to sound weird, but your marital sex life can be, well, boring. Its good that you'd use condoms/birth control because that shows you have sense unlike most teenagers. If you are SURE you can handle the consequences, then I guess you're okay. The only thing I have a problem with is that you assume that God will forgive you. That means that you are PLANNING to sin, which is the definition of a mortal sin, so how could you be sorry and rely on God's forgiveness, especially if you're doing it purposefully. Remember that sex is a promise and a bond. I'd love more than anything to share that with my boyfriend, but I'm not sure if I can handle it yet. Believe me, I know how it feels, I'm just dying to make love to my boyfriend, but we have the REST OF OUR LIVES to do that. Why rush? Think long and hard about your decision. You should take a class just for tumbling so that you have a spotter. I'm sure you still have your backhandspring and everything. If youre still scared you should try everything on a trampoline. It helps to get your form back to the way it was. Remember, if you want to try something new, jump as HARD as you can and keep your arms straight and use all the power you possibly have. good luck :)

Well me and my girlfriend have been going out for a month and a half, and I really have fallen in love with her. She says she has too and I believe her. Now shes says though that she wants to take like a break for maybe about a week. Now during this break were suppose to be pretty much still going out, but with like no strings attached. She wants to make sure that if given the chance we wouldn't do anything with someone else or we could and see if we still felt the same way about each other. I'd be careful with that. Taking breaks could only make you fall apart even worse or it could be an excuse to do something stupid. I suggest that if you really love her, dont let her slip away. If you need a break for whatever reason, thats good because at least you are being mature about it and trying to work through things. But remember, taking breaks could make you grow apart. That's tough. You need to know what he's thinking first. Find out if he likes any other girls, is dating other girls, or kisses other girls while being with you. If you are the only guy he's seeing, then more likely than not, he will want a real relationship and none of the friends with benefits nonsense. I know that from experience and seeing it all the time. You should talk to him to see how he feels about you two if it seems like he's not going to any time soon. If thats too hard, get a friend or someone to ask him what he thinks. And if its too hard to say it in person, do it online, at least you'll know the truth. Good luck with that!

Hi, I'm 16/f and I was raised a Catholic. A really close friend of mine is like.. TOTALLY religious. He's completely devout to the point where he considered being a priest. lol, anyway.. he told me to read this chastity booklet called "pure love" a while ago (www.pureloveclub.com is the website for it) which I did. I was shocked at reading it. Apparently, not even french-kissing should be done outside marriage. I find this ridiculous in a way, and wonder whether any of this has a biblical basis.
My questions are: Should I tell my friend I read the booklet and give my opinions on chastity? Would it damage our friendship?
Secondly, and more importantly, is chastity really necessary? Is there anywhere that states that french-kissing out of marriage is sin? Why do they believe this? I realize that pre-marital sex is a sin, but kissing? Even light touching? Is this all necessary? I am against pre-marital sex (for my own reasons, not for religious reasons) but don't understand why they are so hell-bent against other things.
I hope I haven't offended anyone who is a Catholic. I respect anyone's religious belief, but I always question everything in life. :) I'd appreciate a totally unbiased answer. Thanks a bunch guys!
I'm Catholic, I go to a catholic school, and we have people come in to talk to us about chastity all the time. They said the same thing- nothing beyond kissing (peck) should be done outside of marriage. They said french kissing is a sin because you are sharing the breath of life that God breathed into us as we were created. I understand that, but I still think thats ridiculous. I can understand No intercourse, no oral sex, and no inappropriate touching... but no french kissing?
This is how I see it. In the Bible it says no premarital sex before marriage. But in the Bible, does it state that french kissing is a sin? I don't know if it does or doesn't. But if it doesn't, then its just a stupid rule that the Catholic church made over time. Then again I could be wrong, and it may say it in the Bible but I'm not sure. It just makes me mad the fact that NO WHERE in the Bible does it say women cannot be priests. Its just a rule they made up many many many years ago. Back then, priests could marry too. So you never know.
I suggest telling your friend your oppinion if it means that much to you. Ask him if the Bible states that french kissing is wrong. Afterall, we all know that God inspired humans while writing the Bible so they wrote what God wanted to say and ONLY what God wanted to say. And even if french kissing it technically wrong, explain how its not as bad if you do it with someone in a serious relationship, and not casually while being drunk at a club.

If youre going out to jog, wear layers of sweatpants and sweatshirts so you sweat more. It'll make you dripping and drenched with sweat, and that helps you lose weight. It's a good thing to do, just not in 90 degree weather. Be careful!

I have the same problem! Scrunch your hair when it's wet. Use gel and then hairspray. Sometimes only hairspray is needed, but if you want the wet look, go with the gel. Also, if you hair is poofy, use a de-frizzer or a hair syrum! :)

hi. i never excericise. i don*t play sports, i don*t run or walk much, and i don*t work out. but i realized that i really want nice abs, so i*m trying to come up with a plan for me to do a number of crunches a day for 2 months to get nice abs. so far i*ve decided to do 50 crunches every night and 40 every morning. do you think that i*ll have abs in 2 months? if not how many should i do then?
yes thats pretty much enough. my cheerleading coach who also works at a fitness center wants us to do 300 a week. basically 100 every other day. and she said do all 100 at once cause it works your abs harder. dont forget to stretch afterwards. try to alternate your exercises. dont just so situps, try a whole bunch of other things and do them different every day. good luck! the way youre going, youll definitely get abs!

Yep, thats almost defintely your period. It starts out light flow and is usually red/brown. It won't pour or gush into the toilet. You'll only see it when you wipe. Don't worry!

I do not suggest shaving it. Shaving it will make it come in darker and thicker. I know it's painful, but you should go get it waxed or buy a waxing kit. That way the hair is taken out of its roots and doesn't grow back until way way longer. But if you can't get it waxed or buy a waxing kit between now and then, shave it for just this once.

I know exactly what to do! I had the same problem. Go to your local CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, and buy a product called "Certain-Dri" in the deoderoant section. It's a roll-on antiperspirant that you apply at NIGHT only, the day before you know you're going to sweat, so the next day you'll be completely dry. It's really strong and works well! Or you can go to your doctor and get a perscription for "Drysol" but Certain-Dri is the same thing and it costs about $7 at your drug store or department store. TRUST ME, it works!

It's pretty much normal for the left breast to be larger than the right. Stretch marks appear ANYWHERE because whatever is growing too fast for the skin to stretch. It's normal, and I have them too. So do my friends. Don't worry!
