Hey Im Sam!!
A couple of my friends say that im good for giving advice and sometimes am motherly :\(JOE) which could be good in certain situations cuz im very responsible and try to make people feel good about themselves.So i figured id give this advice thing a shot. So if it turns out good you guys can ask me anything you want i wont reject anyones question i promise. AsK AwAy!!

My mother has been getting on my nerves since i was 7 years old. She judges me, yells at me, swears at me, makes fun of me, and flat out makes me sick. I even started to cut myself because of her, but i eventually stopped after 1 year because my friends helped me out. But i cannot take it anymore. My dad & I are bestfriends, i tell him everything, but i dont tell him about my mother. Just because i dont want them to split up or anything. What can i do to make my mom shutup? Plus, i have many brothers, she loves them, talks to them, hugs them, and compliments them. Its just plain sick. Im sick of her act shes pulling agaisnt her ONLY DAUGHTER. Sometimes i do NOTHING and she says, oh god i wish i had another son. I havent told anyone about this, but all my friends know how she is, and i have always hated her. I see all my close friends spending time with thier moms and having close relationships. I run to my friends house to get away sometimes or just sit outside. Even this past mother's day i bought her a card & flowers, she threw the flowers away. What should i do?

Well im really sorry to hear about this. My greatgrandma is the same way,sort of. Some people just prefer boys to girls and i have no clue why. But you really need to talk about it to someone. First tell your dad. Then you 3 should talk about it. Get emotional. She may not seem it, but she is your mother and she loves you no matter what. She probably doesnt understand girls as well as boys and things they are very complicated (cuz you know, we are). You really need to get things settled about this. I dont think your parents would seperate about something like this, but maybe you guys could go to family counseling center? I know it seems humiliating and your probably think WTF im not going there and you probably tihnk im psychoctic... but its really for the best. what do i tell to adoctor who wants to look down there? even females make me feel self consious. I will not let them touch me or look me down there or take my shirt off. Please help me i want to tell them not to but how. Is there any other way that they can see if im healthy! Im scared out of my mind.

Im sooooooooo scared that i feel dizzy. I cant go through this. I will rate really high to any 1!!

Well next time you go to the doctor bring your mom in the room with you and while your waiting for the doctor, tell your mom that you really dont want them looking at you there. Because if you say something they will just keep going because they think you dont really mean it. But if your mom says something then they have to stop.Really. Plus just remember they r doctors and they cannot judge you and they do the same thing to everyone. I kno it feels creepy and you feel exposed, but its still there job. Well i hope i helped! Sammerz

okayy i like this boy but he has a girlfriend. before this current one he had this other girlfriend who has been on and off for a few years now - even though he had a gf he was all .. like lovey dovey -.. and i liked it. He always sat next to me in math and we would ALWAYS get in trouble ... he would always stare at me in english and when i walking one way down the hallway and he was walking the other way he would smile and wave.. he would always put his arm around me in the hallways [[ like around the shoulder and around the waist ]] he would always hug me in front of everyone and i would turn red ... big time -- i think everyone could tell i liked him and i thought he liked me .. but then he dumped his old gf and i thought he was going to ask me out but nopee he asked this other girl out who he barely talked too... i didn't find out until like a week after they been going out .. and during that week i noticed that he has changed ..he wouldn't sit next to me in math .. didn't even talk to me .. no moree waving in the hallway no moree arm around me nothing at all its like he didn't want anything to do with me. now he does all the things he did to me he does it to her .... im crushed =(

did he think we were going out?? at the time and when he found out i didn't think so he just figured i didn't like him?? i really like him .. when we were in school i would stare at him in class and stuff and sometimes i catch him staring at me in class but then he turns away like nothing happened .. what should i do?

Well maybe you should talk to him about it. Just be like *hey i havent talk to you in a while? whats up?* Casually,act like nothing has bothered you.Just everytime you see him you make the first move. Wave to him in the hall, you go sit next to him in math. Talk about his gf.Yah i kno its weird, but its letting him think your comfortable with the whole thing. I'm 17/f and ive never had a bf. Everytime i like some guy, and he ends up liking me back..I get really uncomfortable and scared away. I dont do it on purpose, it just happens everytime. What could be the reason Im subconciously doing this?

Well you may be self-conscience about yourself, a lot of people are. But if not you may be afraid of getting hurt, So your way of not letting them hurt you is not letting them in at all. But its okay to be hurt because its a part of life, and you cant experience life if you walk around being all *safe* all the time. I say next guy you like go for it. Theres no need to feel scared around him (unless hes really scary). Maybe you could try double dates and stuff. Go places you feel comfortable at, like the movies or bowling or something. Hey! Well my parents are out for the day and there is absolutely NOTHING to eat. Were going on vacation tomorrow so thats why. We cleaned out our fridge. So theres nothing for lunch ! im 13 and I think I could get a pizza, but I dont know how. =/ So, can someone please answer my q's.? Thanks a ton.

- Do I have to tip the deliverer? If so, how much?
- Can I just hand them cash ?
- How long will it take to get the pizza here?

Well if your looking for fast, go for Dominos, but if your looking for good(and/or cold) go for Papa Ginos. Try online to find the closest one around you too.Yes you have to tip them. Yes they ask no questions, give them the money!lol. And it depends on whereyou get the pizze from for how long it takes. Dominos...your looking at anywhere between a half and an hour...and Papa Ginos your looking at anywhere between 45 minutes and 2 hours( expect to be using your microwave on that one). And 25$ is way more than enough. I just looked on both websites...
Papa Ginos Small-6.49(cheese)+1.00 for each topping.
Dominos Medium(cant find small)-Doesnt say a price...But i know you can get that 555 deal and get 3 pizzas for 15$
By the way Dominos has a plugged in heat bag thingy so it definetly stays warm.

er... well. here goes.

theres a guy I like. He goes to my school. Is in my grade, two of my classes, ect. ect.

I talk to him on AIM, we kinda talk at school, and best of all, he doesn't think I'm fat. (long story. Let's just say I wasn't eating anything and my friends are odd)

But, he knows I like him, and doesn't like me back. He's told me multiple times. (again, my friends are odd) But lately, he's been acting like I'm okay. Usually he acts like he hates me. He even IMed me first on AIM (I know its odd, but hey, I guess I blend in with my friends) which is like, a first. Ever. We've been able to talk more, and we're getting along pretty well.

The bad side is, well, I've liked him for so long, now that he's finally maybe liking me, I don't feel exactly the same. I'm in this odd stage where, I do and don't like him. I mean, he's hurt me so much, but I feel like I love him. I can't control my feelings.

So what I want to know is:
Do you think he likes me?
What should I do if he asks me out?
and
Should I take action?(ME asking him out)

I have NO idea what to do.

Well its true when guys criticize you they actually do like you. I know strange. And another thing, about 89% of guys prefer if girls mkae the first move too! I think you should wait it out a little more and see if his feelings go a little deeper. And if he asks you out, give it a shot. I mean youve liked him for so long he deserves his chance right? I've been saving up to get an iPod. My mom says that if I can get $100 She'll buy me a 60GB iPod.

But I also kinda want a cell phone.

I know that the cell phone will in time cost more, but I'm not sure which one I want more. I really want an iPod, and I have the possibility, because I have $71 out of $100 for it.

But I really want a cell phone too.

I'm so...stuck.

Well this is a situation. I have a mini ipod and a cell phone=D and i like them both equally. I think that if you have a lot of siblings or neighbors or something that make a ton of noise, go for the ipod. It can kind of be your escape from everything and you can just fall into the music. Now if hang out with your friends a lot or go to a lot of places, then get the cellphone. Only get it if you really need it. I know its cool to be like HEY i have a cellphone hehehehe but really they are only a way to get in touch with people when you really have to. im going to sleep over my friends house today..but the thing is i havent seen her in a yr and we were really friends b4 but weve been talking on the internet alot, the problem isnt lik im scared shes a creep its just that im scared it will be awkward! i can get really shy sometimes and the number 1 thing i hate is awkward silences!! is there any thing to do to make sure we'll both have fun???

p.s. i sweat alot too so is there anything i can do for that?

I'm 14, soon to be 15. He just turned 19. He's so sweet and calls me baby/beautiful/sweetheart. All that stuff. I like him alot, and he likes me too. We've hooked up }not sex{ and I told my close cousins. They all make fun of me now saying that he's 19 and stuff like that. It really pisses me off because they don't know him. He's amazing and he likes me too. We live 2 hours apart, but I see him when I go up to my cottage. Which is alot. I really like him and I want it too work and so does he. But I want my cousins off my case. Should I tell them that I broke up with him??

On most TV sets there is a little light by the power button that lights up when TV is on. Ours has suddenly started to blink when the TV is off. What does this mean? Is it an indication the TV needs service? The color was acting up a month ago, but no longer seems to be a problem.

i live around chicago IL, and were having a drought, so its really hot around here. it gets really humid - and my hair is naturally wavy. if i scrunch it and wear it curly, it gets frizzy, and if i straighten it and wear it straight, it doesnt stay striaght, it puffs up etc. i have to go to summer school every day from 8-12, and i have very thick and quite long hair, what are some easy hair styles that i could do quick in the morning that doent look sloppy?

i say throw it up in a cute bun or something and just use gel to stop the frizz. That way it gets it off the back of your neck which wont be annoying in the heat. Good thing is if its so humid it might rain soon!(hopefully cuz i hate the humidity) Well i hope i could help!Sammerz

My friend and I are really close. He's my best friend, and I'm really open with him. Sometimes we have really deep conversations, where I tell him anything I feel and he does the same too. We might even have conversations on the phone until 2 in the morning. My problems is that he's really confusing me. He won't make up is mind as to whether he likes me or not. Sometimes he'll hold me or give me those cute hugs from behind, and I really love when he does. We say "I love you" to each other as if it's a greeting. Ok...so heres the deal. i...ran away from home (save me the lectures) And i stayed with this guy i knew....and liked. But i had just met him that day..but i had spent the whole day with him. And he was really sweet. And told me about his life, and vise versa. hes 16, and im 15. that night we hooked up...not sex, just...made out and cuddled and slept together (literally). And so...yea. Then the next day we went to a friends house for a lil. And we acted like we were datin...kissed and what not. Then he walked me to the marta station and kissed me goodbye and told me to call him when i got home and when i could. So i do. And he tells me that i shouldnt get in touch with him too much or at all, because we both didnt want my parents to find out that he was the house i stayed at..but he did tell me to call him once i was "free". Now heres the problem. I cant stop thinking about him...its been a week already and hes all thats on my mind. Once im "free" should i go for it..or talk to him about it? Well im not trying to criticize but are you sure you really know this guy? I mean you knew him a WHOLE day.Then you ran away to his house. Im not gonna give you advice and tell you to go home because thats not your question. But i think you try to get to know this guy a little bit more. I really like the kid im going out with. He asked me out a little over a week ago but I had said no because Im so busy over the summer. Now, I regret saying yes this time because I have way too much going on. Im gonna be a freshman next year and Im on the high school cheerleading squad. It takes up a lot of my time and im also playing softball all summer. I go to the cape almost every weekend, and I need some time to myself, plus I have a lot of work to do before I go back to school. I dont know what to do because I wont ever see him and I feel so tied down because im always worried about finding time to be with him. Should I dump him? YES!!!! i used to drink drin ka lot of soda and juice and stuff and i tried to get into better shape and i just stayed thesame thne went up a little. For the past 3 months all i ever drink is practically water and ive lost 7 pounds (which is also from eating healthier and working out too) but i still drink water all the time.IM DRINKING IT NOW.Trust me it works, and you acquire a taste for it too so you'll be wanting to drink it all the time. I say you should sit your mom down, ALONE, and talk to her about how your feeling. Tell her that it bugs oyu that shes with her b/f more than you, and tell her everything about how you feel. Mothers always pick their children first. my parents are so over protective. im 13 and they wont even let me jog aroung my block or go to the mall with a friend it gets on my nerves cause my dad always bring up these stories of about these 25 yr olds who get kidnapped raped and killed i told him to sign me up 4 self defense if hes so paranoied but he just gets mad he wont listen. Well my parents are overprotective too! I kno how you feel. Its not that they dont trust you, but they dont trust anyone else. My tips are too always go out in big groups of people. They dont have to be too big, but if your going to the mall go with like 4 people. Another thing is get a cellphone(if u dont already have one) tell them youll work around the house or something just so you can hang out with your friends once in a while. But always keep your phone on and with you, theyll freak if you dont answer...Another thing about the jogging, if you have a dog, bring it(preferbly a big one) that way they can know you have your own miniature body guard palling around with you. I want to get close with people, but when it comes time to become intimate, I become very scared. I suppose I have some self-esteem issues about my body that contributes to that, but even after that, I'm still hesitant to go for it. I'm not talking about necessarily having sex here, I'm talking about even letting somebody touch me below the waist, or letting somebody see me naked. I'm sure i want to become intimate with somebody, but I'm very self-conscious.

Does anybody have anythign to say on this?

Everybody has problems with their own body, and many people are self-conscience. I kno i am, and tons of other people are out there with your same dilemna. I think that if you become close with someone, and if they care about you enough, They will think your beautiful no matter what, because the right way to judge someone is not by how they look on the outside, but by their qualities on the inside. I just resent went for a CT-Scan test on my sinuses and im awaiting my results. I'm so nerious , I'm thinking the worst, tumors, cancer and surgery!! I went to the dr's last fri and her checked me and her said I had no infection??? Should I really get myself sick over this??? I have had such congestion in my nose nothing releases and my ears congested also?? every medication i was given I was nervious to take!! I had the test done 7/5/05 im sure if there was anything very serious im sure the dr 's office would of contacted me??? Right??? I spoke to there office this morning and I have to get the films at the hospital on Friday, I'm hoping I get the results by then???

When I actually had the test done last night, I had a panic attack, and the technician , told me everything is ok and go home????

Well im no brain surgeon, but i know when people are put in situations about their safety they get very nervous and think the worse ALWAYS. I know youre very very very nervous, but itll probably be nothing. If it was anything remotely cancerous the doctor would have the results *overnighted* so they could deal with the problem sooner.
