it's not really computers...
I've been saving up to get an iPod. My mom says that if I can get $100 She'll buy me a 60GB iPod.
But I also kinda want a cell phone.
I know that the cell phone will in time cost more, but I'm not sure which one I want more. I really want an iPod, and I have the possibility, because I have $71 out of $100 for it.
But I really want a cell phone too.
I'm so...stuck.

i say get the cell phone cuz it will be more useful. an ipod is about as a cd player or the radio. so use your money in a better way. plus i think ipods cost between $150- $200.

well, id say get both. but id get the ipod first, because, then you dont have a monthly payment, like cellfones (you could get a prepaid fone tho) but anyways. maybe you should get a job, so you could save up for both, (babysitting, extra chores, etc)

just think of which one you would use more!a cell phone? or an ipod? personally i would want a cell phone..because they are more convenient..and you can use them a lot more often ya know? and sooner or later ipods are going to go out of style..but that is just my opinion to help your decision

Well you want both so..... finish getting your $100 and buy the i-pod. Now all you would have left is a cell phone, they are expensive and can cost about $50 a month. I just got one because i talked with my parents about it and how useful it is in a case of an emergency. My parents agreed but it did take some time and some talking. My parents also trust me so they knew that i would not miss use it and go over my minutes. If your parents are like that try it and if not just be happy you can get an i-pod!

Well this is a situation. I have a mini ipod and a cell phone=D and i like them both equally. I think that if you have a lot of siblings or neighbors or something that make a ton of noise, go for the ipod. It can kind of be your escape from everything and you can just fall into the music. Now if hang out with your friends a lot or go to a lot of places, then get the cellphone. Only get it if you really need it. I know its cool to be like HEY i have a cellphone hehehehe but really they are only a way to get in touch with people when you really have to. get the I-pod and go on ebay and see if there are any cheaper phones or the other way around. Get the phone and go on ebay for cheap i-pods

in my oppinion only a dumbass would buy a ipod when theres soo ez to steal. steal a fukin ipod or pay some1 50 to get it for uu n get the cell from yur mom n that way uu got both :DDDD
o btw the cable that connects the ipod to comp also charges it, n use the winamp plugin to upload songs to it

think of which one in the long run would be better to have or even better to use ipod batteries run out so fast but phone batteries can last a while and cells will be more money but they can have many different uses too

Get the iPod and then start saving for a cell phone. The problem with a cell phone is its a monthly bill so you'd most likley have to get a job or talk your parents into paying part of it .

Mm, well I'm thinking you should get the IPod. Of course, cellphones are really cool, but i think eventually your parents will realize you need one, and get you one, too! So, if you can wait a little while for a cellphone, then get the iPod, haha. You already are reaaally close to that 100 dollars anyway, so I'd say to stick with the iPoD! Good luck! :)

well, you can always liten to music on the radio and shit. a cell phone would be the better choice personally .. cuz i wanted an iPod but then i relized its a waste cuz, theres the radio and you can listen to music on your computer.

well you could get a cheaper mp3 thats not an ipod...like the one from dell (lemme know if you need more info on that) then with the money you save your mom, you can used that towards a cell phone. or if that isnt possible, wait till your next bday to ask for the phone. <3

Well, they are both good things to get. I personally would choose the ipod because I love music. But a cell phone would be good in case of emergencies. Maybe if your mom, dad, or older sibling has a cellphone, you can borrow theirs. But ipods are one of a kind, and just yours. I think you should try to compromise with your parents. Get an ipod and then ask for a cell phone for christmas.
