I'm soooo into him!
I'm 14, soon to be 15. He just turned 19. He's so sweet and calls me baby/beautiful/sweetheart. All that stuff. I like him alot, and he likes me too. We've hooked up }not sex{ and I told my close cousins. They all make fun of me now saying that he's 19 and stuff like that. It really pisses me off because they don't know him. He's amazing and he likes me too. We live 2 hours apart, but I see him when I go up to my cottage. Which is alot. I really like him and I want it too work and so does he. But I want my cousins off my case. Should I tell them that I broke up with him??
IF you have any other advice about my situation I would greatly appreciate anything you have to offer.

Well I just wanna say first that are you sure you should date him? Because its against the law.. it's illegal for 18 year olds and older to date minors.. I just wanted to say that ; because then you two could get in a lot of trouble. He could get put in jail! And that's 3 years of sneaking behind peoples backs...but then again I really don't find age a problem. I like a guy right now that's turning 17..but 3 years is my limit. But anyways, I'd just be like to your cousins," Hey.. back off. I seriously don't care what you think, because age doesn't matter whenever two people care about eachother. And at least I have SOMEONE older or not." Because if you lie to them they could find out somehow, and that wouldn't be good. Hope I helped!!

dont tell them you broke up if you didnt. they could find out it was a lie, and be mad at you for lying to them.
tell them to grow up and that they need to realize that age isnt a factor if you truely care about somebody.

19 is kinda old, but I can't say much cause I'm in sort of the same situation so yeah I see where you're coming from. Just tell your cousins to back off. He may be older & age shouldn't matter all that much. Just make sure not to do anything with him that's bad (like sex) because it's illegal since you're underage & you don't want him thrown in jail.

omg the same thing happened to my best friend. her name is mendi and she is about to be 15. well the dude that she likes and all is 18. her mom found out about them and forbidded her to see him. well she ignored her mom and she sneaked around callin him still and then we all hung out on july 4th. they even made out. well her mom found out and now she is in so much trouble. so if i was you, i would just tell them to back off ...sry this isnt much but thats wht i would do. sryy

Well dont tell them that you guys broke up, cuz they will find out some way that you didnt, then they will bug you even more. ok i know people my age (15 and 16) who get caught up in these 18 and 19 year olds and its just turned bad...both went to prison for sleeping with minors..so it didnt turn out good
but then again i dont know him, only you do so im just telling you about what ive seen when these older guys go for younger girls

If you want them off your case? Yeah, claiming to have broken up will do it.
Other thoughts on the situation? At your age, dating is questionable in the first place, much less dating a man who can be put in prison if he has sex with you. I can tell you, as an 18 year old, that if someone 19 is interested in someone your age, he doesn't have a very healthy personality. It won't lead to anything good.
