So my best guy friend (not bf) sort of hooked me up with this other guy (who's 13 and a rising 7th grader, but i'm a rising freshman) and we talk online sometimes and I think I would like to date him, because he thinks I'm pretty and everything and he likes me. (even though we haven't met in person)
oh but i do know that he's real because he goes to my best guy friend's school and they're good friends you know so this isn't just a random online hookup. so please don't say anything like "oh it's unsafe to do that".

My dad has been acting all mean lately. He used to be so nice and we would always hang out. Like tonight, I was in his office because he was trying to fix my computer, and then he said I have to concentrate, get out. So I was with my dog and I was about to leave when all of a sudden he tried to kick me and hit me. He NEVER did anything like that to me and he doesn't drink or anything. I ran to my mom in her room and he was about to throw my computer. He also canceled our trip tomorrow. It was really hard to breathe and my mom said he was very mad to. I'm really scared and sad. Now my trips canceled because my stupid dad. No offense but I think I hate him. I hate my dad!

He doesn't want to be this way and I know you don't want to hate him. Show him that you love him. If he realizes how erratic he is being then you showing him that you love him might change his attitude towards you.

Try eating a little bit more when you eat dinner. What time do you usually get hungry after dinner? Sleep would be a good way to get around it. If you wake up because you are hungry, drink a glass of milk.

hi my birth day is coming up and i want a laptop. my parents are willing to buy me one for a reasonable price and they want it to do most everything (burn cds, is internet accesible, and that i can use most everywhere with a good batterie) any ideas on the brand? thanx for your help!
It really depends on what a resonable price is. There are some laptops out there for 3000 dollars, so im going to assume that you mean for less than 1000. Though I wouldn't recommend it, you could get a Dell laptop that has most of that stuff for less than 800 or so. But if you want a real computer, go Apple. with this http://www.macmall.com/macmall/families/ibook/ you get the combo drive that will enable you to burn cds and cdrw's. I'm just using Dell's as an example, but Dell's are problem computers, so I'd probably go more towards an HP or IBM if you decide against an Apple. My dad has an IBM and it rocks to say the least. I don't drink wine often, but I like to use it in my cooking. I have just been using 'cooking white wine' from the grocery store. But I would like to buy a good bottle of good wine to use instead. How long will an open bottle of wine last in my refridgerator?
If you keep a cork in the lid then it'll keep as long as you don't use it. Open, without a cork, maybe a few days.

13/m Ever since I tried to show my crush how much I loved her, she's had something to do whenever I try to talk to her. Like just now. We were both on AIM, but she had her Away Message on. After a while, she turns off her Away Message, and so I say hi, and all of a sudden her little brother wants to go ride bikes. This has happened about two or three times. Is she ignoring me? Is she trying to give me the slip? I really need advice here...
Get her phone number and call her at about 8 at night. At this time she has probably eaten dinner, and it's getting too dark to go outside. She will run out of excuses.
You could ask one of her friends or you could just ask her for her number...though asking her might not work if she's trying to ignore you. I would say she is ignoring you, and calling her would be a different approach. Another thing: make sure you have somthing to talk about.

okay i have itunes and im sick of paying $1 per song. is there anything thts not illegal that you pay a lot less than $1 per song for that you can download to get music and that works for an ipod? a friend said rhapsody but it doesnt work on the go for ipods. like something you pay $20 a month for and unlimited downloads? pleeese help i need my music!

Alright so the start menu/task bar/ thing on my computer used to run along the bottom...but my friend did something (she doesn't know what) so now it is running vertically along the right side. If you know how to reverse this so it is at the bottom again i would really appreciate it. I'll rate 5's for anyone who can give me directions on changing it.
Right click on the bar and unlock it if you cant click it and drag it to the bottom.

It's the same size as the headphone jack, but it's not the headphone jack. It will be around there and you should see a little impression or a picture that looks like a mic next to the plug.

It's possible, but you'd be putting alot of pressure on your engine with two turbines. A four cylinder can only take so much. What kind of 4 cylinder is it? A Honda?. Engineered correctly, you can make it as powerful as a v-6.

it could be "stick-keys" just restart your computer. I hate stickkeys cause alot of times i'll sit on shift and then it'll come on. Hold down the shift button until your computer beeps and then hit OK and/or disable it.

Sometime this year i am planning to buy either an mp3 player or an ipod. I was wondering what people thought was better, an mp3 player or an ipod.
An Ipod is an Mp3 player, but it also playes AAC's. Ipods are known to have battery issues that can be a hassle and it costs 50 bucks to get the batteries replaced in them if they cant hold a charge anymore. I have an RCA Lyra, and it's a pretty decent Mp3 player. The only thing that I don't like about it is the battery life, and the fact that it only has 64Mb of memory built in. I have purchased another 64mb SD card, and if you were to buy a 512 or a 1gig card, you have the same amount of space that an ipod shuffle has.

I got Linseed Oil on one of my favorite shirts. The shirt is 95% cotton, 5% spandex. How can I get it out? Are there any stain removers that would help?
take some toothpaste and scrub the toothpaste into the shirt where the stain is. Let the shirt sit out for a while and then wash it with all of your other clothes.

I know people who have been playing the "choking game." Not by themselves though, I know you can die easily that way. What they do is kneel down, and put their head on the ground and take deep breaths. They get up, take a deep breath and hold it, then a friend puts their arm around their neck and chokes until they pass out. Is this really all that dangerous? I've read that people have been doing this since the 1980's, and the only reason its a big deal now is because kids are doing it by themselves and arent letting go of the choke before they pass out. If a friend is doing it and knows when to let go, is it dangerous?
