Emo means "Emotional". But alot of people have taken that out of context. Emo is really a branch of hardcore music that is destructive and disturbing. =)

emo people are like people who are kinda like well... my girlfriedn broke up with me.. im gonna go kill myself... it's the end of the word kinda stuff.. there is also emo music.. it's like rock.. but it's the lyrics that make it emo.. they talk about killing themselves... or like it's the end of the world sort of stuff.. the lyrics are really deep... some of the bands are taking back sunday, hawthorne heights, senses fail, halifax, finch, etc. ... hope i helped..

Emo = emotional. Usually really really depressed, cutting wrist, that type of thing. So, if that's an Emo song, it's an emotional song. Emo picture, the picture could be very depressing, black and white, sad look, etc.
