Hey, im asking for opinions here. Im not mean, just VERY old fasioned, because thats the way my family raised me. I think the man should pay for most dates, and the woman should be shorter than the man. Of course i have paid for some dates with my boyfriend, but i think its wrong to have the woman pay most times, and i have dated 2 guys that were shorter than me, and they were great guys, but i perfer to date guys who are taller than me. What do you guys think?

No, I don't think it's fair for the guy to have to pay for the date. The first date, maybe, but after that no way. It would add up to a ton of money really fast, and I think it's just rude to make the guy pay all the time. I think once you're in a relationship, you should split. And height is just a matter of personal opinion.

Hey, i love the smell vanilla, and i really wanted to find a perfume that smells really good, and like vanilla. I usually bounce around between lavendar and Sephoras Pink Sugar, and some VS scents, btu i want to find one that will really stick. Not too expensive please, like i dont mind sephora prices, but nothing over that. Thanks (:

Victoria's Secret Garden Vanilla Lace smells amazing and isn't too expensive. It's my favorite vanilla scent by far.

If you like the vanilla, you might also like the Gilded Ginger Creme (part of the holiday line), I just got it and love it.

I have loads of ideas what to get get my boyfriend for Christmas. I want to get him some aftershave, however, I'm not sure which one. I'm not that familiar with men's aftershaves, so does any guy have any suggestions of nice smelling ones? I don't want to end up going round to every shop that sells fragrance and smelling all of the guys ones! I know he likes Calvin Klein and David Beckham's and some others which I don't remember the name of.

Douching is not good for your body at all, you really shouldn't, regardless of whether or not you're sexually active.

Yes, you can. I have this from a reliable source (college textbook- exact words "There is enough sperm in pre ejaculatory fluid to enable conception"). It only takes a tiny bit to make you pregnant, so be careful.

Ok, so Im 19/f on the pill. But in the past month Ive missed a few just cause I get so distracted here at school (im in college). Me and my boyfriend have sex regularly and we dont use condoms ( I dont need the condom lecture, please). A couple weeks ago, we had sex and he thinks he came in me just a little. So that makes me nervous because I did miss a couple pills. Now, Ive been feeling kind of nauseous for the past week. And I feel really like grose and bloated, Ive also been moody. (Plus Im constipated, I know.... its grose) I know these are all symptoms of early pregnancy, but its not like Im making myself feel that way. I just happened to look up early symptoms for a paper I was writing and freaked out when I realized that all of them were applying to me. Do you think Im pregnant? Or what are the chances? My next period is a week and a half away. Any opinions would be helpful, thanks.

Many of the signs of early pregnancy are the same or similar to those of PMS, especially feeling bloated and moody. All you can do is wait, and if your period doesn't come, take a test.

But for future reference...pills do NOT work if you don't take them. Read the instructions on yours, often they tell you what to do if you miss a pill. Otherwise, if you miss a pill, you need to wait a few days (or use a condom) before having sex again.

I'm love my boyfriend and he loves me. Neither of us is religious so we don't really believe in the whole "wait until you're married" thing. We've done everything except sex. He wants to have sex, and I do too, but I'm kind of scared it might change our relationship. Lately all we've been talking about is having sex, and I'm afraid once we do, there's not really going to be a meaning to our relationship anymore. I brought this up to him and he said that he doesn't look forward to sex as much as he looks forward to seeing me and just hanging out with me. Yes, sex does definitely change a relationship in many ways, and it can makes things a lot harder and mess things up. You didn't mention how long you've been together, but I'm also wondering how serious your relationship is. Do you plan on marrying this guy or being with him for a long time? If you do, I would at least wait longer. I know you don't believe in abstinence until marriage (and neither did I), but something to think about: If you have sex now, what does it leave to look forward to when you're married? Waiting doesn't hurt any and will only make it better.

And if you do decide to, use every precaution possible. Get on birth control (if you are a teen and have parents that won't let you, go to your local Planned Parenthood) and use condoms- not just one or the other, both.

I am a new mother and I have a second hand crib for my baby. I heard from another mommy in my building that there are a bunch of cribs that can kill your baby and a big recall going on.

How do I find out if my crib is safe or not?

I saw it on the news, and it's most cribs with drop down sides. Since it's secondhand, you probably don't have the model number, so if it has a drop down side I just wouldn't use it.

I'm 18 years old.

2 years ago, I started dying my hair VERY often. (I used semipermanent dye and it faded quickly) Prior to that, it was very thick and healthy, but now it's thinned out & become slightly damaged. I also get the feeling that I'm losing more strands a day than I used to.

So I have 3 questions:
1) Will my hair ever revert to being thick again (even if I stop dying it) ?
2) Are there any good shampoos to use to make it more healthy?
3) Any other comments are also welcome.

Since you're young, your hair probably will recover eventually, but if you're using heat products you need to cut back.
If you still dye your hair, use a shampoo made especially for dyed hair (L'oreal makes good ones). Otherwise, something for damaged hair, like Dove Damage Repair.
You should also try a product called It's A 10. (Available at beauty supply stores). It's a leave-in conditioning spray that repairs hair, gets rid of frizz, and works as a thermal protection spray. It's a little expensive but a really good product and totally worth the money.

If you don't eat, you will gain weight. (I know that sounds backwards). Your body will think you're starving and hold on to whatever food you give it. Eating more often is a better way to stimulate your metabolism.

I was wondering how to keep my foundation from fading? i use maybeleen dream mousse foundation, its the wet kind. In dhe morning i put the wet foundation on, than the powder kind. it looks good, but during the day at school i see i can see my pimples and skin come threw. like my skins like a redish color and i use the makeup to cover it,but my face isnt all red just a little on my cheeks and chin.Help me out there? I also wanted to know some sexy makeup ideas usually i wear the gray eyeshadow with purple,blue or green eyeliner, and sometimes over lap them, it looks nice and i get a lot of compliments. I want more! haha i like to look nice, and i want my bf to be proud of his girl. :) i love make up,i don't wear it constantly though. im happy with the way i look..sometimes. tips, ideas and links would be appreciated thanks so much!!!

You need to use a makeup primer- Bare Escentuals Prime Time is amazing. I also recommend not using a mousse foundation, they fade quickly. Maybelline Mineral Powder powder foundation is really good and lasts all day. Use stick concealer on any red areas, then set it with a powder, otherwise it will come right now. L'oreal Bare Naturale translucent powder is good.

Hi! I'm from Miami.... and I am planning to move to California. I am almost done with college and since I'm a Mass Communications/Broadcast Journalism major, I think there's a lot of opportunities there. I also had an internship that has opened a lot of doors, but what better place than California? I am in love with the idea of living in California, but I'm terrified of earthquakes. I have a lot of anxiety and I have dreams that I'll be at the gym, and there will be an earthquake. Or that I'll be at work, and it will hit... or that my boyfriend and I will be driving, and then an earthquake will happen. I'm terrified! I live in California, and I've never worried about earthquakes. I am 19, and the entire time I've been alive I've never experienced a major earthquake. Once every few years I've experienced a minor earthquake since I live nearly on a fault line; however, they're more fun than anything. You might feel a little shaking but usually the way you notice is something moving (i.e. clothes in a closet). It's all just experience, I'd be kind of scared to live in Florida because of tropical storms.

How can I make my breast smaller? There not terribly big but I still hate them! I'm a dancer and I HATE it when my breast "jiggle" on stage. I really want to make my breast smaller. I will work out 24/7 if I have to. To tell you the truth I want the breasts of a nine year old (thats not relistic I know). Please tell me! I'll stop eating, I'll work out 24/7, I'll eat my dog!!! (well that last one was a joke haha) PLEASE HELP!!!

The only way you can really make them smaller is if you lose a lot of weight, but I'm guessing that since you're a dancer and work out a lot you already are skinny. Just buy a good sports bra; it might be a pain for dance but at other times you won't want tiny breasts.

It depends on how the weather is where you live, really.

I got this phone around August, maybe July. This phone is absolute crap! IT SUCKS. If any of you have this phone too and the same problem let me know and let me know if verizon has fixed it or has sent a replacement.

My phone randomly shuts off. Sometimes when im recieving a call! it's redicilous. I'm getting sick of it... this happens maybe 2 times a day. Sometimes more, sometimes less. And sometimes when it shuts off and i turn it back on, MY WHOLE ENTIRE PHONE IS RESET. All my settings are put back to default! IM GETTING SICK OF CHANGING EVERYTHING BACK. It's so annoying! I saw that people had the same problems on phone review sites but they just returned it withen the 14 day period, im way over it. Any suggestions?

It's just a problem with the phone, I have the Voyager (which is the exact same phone just minus apps) and it does that, and so do enV2s. My mom took hers to the Verizon store after having problems with it turning off and they plugged in it and did something (reprogramming I think) that fixed it, so I suggest taking it to the store.
