I have a big scab on my head. cause i tryed to pop a pimple the other day and it didnt really work too well. so yea i have a huge scab and its soo embarassing and i cant cover it up well cause the concealer loks brown over it, so i was wondering, what is the festest way to clear this up? i need to have it gone by next friday (9 days) should i try and dry it out? or use neoporin? plese help (link)

what you should do is before going to bed, put some tooth paste on it. in the morning, it'll be completely dried out, and can just come off.
this method WORKS!

run more for distance than speed
3 miles in 25 minutes is a good start. then move up to 3 miles in 20 minutes. at this point you should be able to go on a 10 mile jog with no problem.
learned all this from cross country. was jogging 10 miles within 2 months, running 3 miles in 20 minutes, and i was one of the under talented runners.

I dont get it.. like for example, Elvis Presley, Bob Marley, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, and a ton of other rockstars.. like why do they feel the need to get so drunk and take so many drugs and other crap to harm their bodies? then when they die the fans show all the support.. and yea its dissapointing.. but its like.. why do they have to do it? ive asked someone on youtube and they just said like its a custom for rockstars to do that kind of things.. but thats crazy. i mean they certainly know they could die from doing stuff like that too much? also other celebrities like marilyn monroe, or amy winehouse and other current celebs.. or infact everyone in general. drugs. alcholol. smoke. i just freaking hate it.. i dont get why people do it so much and i dont want them to cause its just a waste of their lives!!! its been bothering me for a while.. i mean is real life so pathetic they have to do that? and how do people get peer pressured into it? im 13, and i could never see myself doing anything like that, its just disgusting. but some kids get pressured.. but how the hell can you be pressured to do nasty things like that? they need to get some self respect and learn that you can make other friends. luckily in my society that kind of thing doesnt happen or atleast i've never heard of it.. not in middle school or around my friends and family. i only have 1 uncle that smokes.. i dont see him that much but the next time i do i'll try to get him to stop.. cause its just terrible. :/ its just messed up. and so basically my questions are
1. why do rockstars do these things? why do they feel the need to? dont they know it could really harm them?

drugs are drugs... they have money to spend and no doubt being popular opens them to connections. there's a lot of people who aren't rockstars and are druggies... while there are MANY who frown down upon it. theres the straightedge movement for example, which was started by hardcore punk rockers, who didnt like getting fucked up, or lost friends. i believe that being a rockstar is irrelevant.

If there are any violinists here... I play several other instruments and am asking for a violin for Christmas. I have picked out the Giardinelli Silver Creek Model 4 violin, and the description says that it comes with a Brazilwood half-lined bow stick. I have looked everywhere, and I can't figure out if that means that it comes with the horse hair, or if it's just the actual bow and I need to take it somewhere to have the horse hair put in. i got a viola bow of the same kind. it'll have the hair in it.
brazilwood bows are amazing.
i personally on the whole situation though would wait to buy the bow until after i purchase the violin. with the violin, i would take it around and try different kinds of bows. the tone of the violin might be altered due to the kind of bow. you need to just experiment with many- visit a violin shoppe or something until you find the right fit.
its like wand shopping in harry potter i guess.

you can get it done whether professionally or use a home wax kit.
whichever your more comfortable with
at a salon in my neighborhood, it costs about 30 dollars to get brazilian, which is what i do. ive never had it done professionally, and only done it at home
so to get a home kit, you just go to any drugstore/pharmacy (cvs, riteaid, walgreens). they cost about 7-10 dollars. for a kit.
its not hard, and the instructions typically come with it and show you how to do it with diagrams.
its painful, but it goes away very quickly, and its deffinantly worth the results, as it lasts about a month, sometimes longer. also, extended use of this makes it so that the hairs come back thinner, lighter, and not as often, the exact opposite of what you get when you shave (darker, thicker, and come back quicker).
