Okay so I was just woundering how many times a week you should wash your hair. I know not every single day because its not healthy. I plan on asking my stylist thursday when I go to get my hair cut. But im just woundering how many times a week you think you should. Thanks

The maximum amount would probably be 4 times.. maybe 5..
Yes.. grease in your hair is healthy.. to a certain extent...
You can wash your hair once every two days.. that way- you're hair isn't too clean...
But.. you can still take a shower everyday.. that is fine..

To the best of my knowledge- turbulance is felt throughout the whole plane.. not just the rear...

If you're feeling uneasy about going on a plane.. just relax and maybe tell a flight attendant that you are not comfortable with flying.. and she will do all she can to help you feel safe and comfortable

Okay, I have a VERY important violin audition and I've been practicing my butt off all summer. I practiced for 2 hours yesterday and now my hand is cramping up (My right hand...which I need for bowing)

Any ideas on how to relieve the cramp...fast? I have the audition in 3hours! And no, I can't reschedule and this is very very important! Any suggestion will be a thanks =D and a 5 =]

The best thing you can do right now is to rest your hand and massage it... maybe put it in cool water to loosen the muscles in your hand

I start High school next week and I am exited and nevous too. Any Advice on Highschool. I play feild hockey and have been in pre-season for a couple weeks so I know some of the upper classmen but not really, I also have a shophmore locker so my locker is not with any of the freshman! Anyway any tips on highschool??? Thanks a bunch!

I am in the same situation as you... I'm going into HS for the first year!
When it comes to "Freshmen Friday" there is NO such thing... my brother and sister are both in HS (senior and junior) and have told me so...

If your school allows you to carry your backpack around to your classes.. then do so.. instead of going to your locker after each class and being in the midst of sophomores...

Always study.. every night.. nothing is moer important than getting good grades...
If you have a big test coming up in a week- don't wait until the last minute to study, because cramming never works.. instead.. take about 10-15 minutes each night before the test to study the material.. and make sure you remember it..

When doing homework.. don't do it all in one sit-down.. take aobut 10 minute breaks every 30 minutes or so.. If you work non-stop.. you'll only stress yourself out...

Try as hard as you can (although there isn't a freshmen friday) to stay out of the way of upperclassmen.. they won't be the friendliest to run into...

i just got diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder. can somebody give me a way to cope with the kids that make fun of me in class when i cant answer a question or pick up where we left of reading?! i just wanna punch them, but i know i would get suspened. all my friends abandoned me so i dont no who to go to for advice. thanks, i rate high

You should have nothing to be ashamed of- having ADD..
EVERYONE has something "wrong" with them (not that ADD is wrong or anything)- like diseases or pimples or whatever..
So- if anyone makes fun of you for having a disorder that you can't control- then they are just losers.. Just ignore what they say- and they will eventually stop making fun of you when they realize that their harrassment doesn't effect you one bit..

And as for your mom- I'm sure she doesn't hate you.. she might still be upset about you being diagnosed with a disorder.. she'll be back to normal in no time.. just don't make her mad at you or anything

hi i'm a 15 year old guy and i like this 15 year old girl....we met almost 5 years ago and ive cared for her so much ever since..we are great friends and i would do anything for her just to see her happy and we went out 2 times before about 2 years ago but she broke it off the first time because she thought our friendship would b in jeopordy and i said i understand that and then the second time i broke it off because i had heard she was going to break up with me and go out with sum1 else so i ddi it to save sum of the pain but it still hurt and i dont know what to do because i ve tried to go out with other girls and none of themm compare to her and i tried to tell her how much i care and she said she just didnt see me as more and i want to show her we can be ive tried this summer to get together with her but she claims she's very busy...summers almost over now and i want to see her before school starts but i also want to tell her i ve tried to go out with other girls and none of them compare to her..is that a good thing to do? I've kinda been in this situation before.. liking my best girl friend-
Telling her how you feel about her is the only way that you'll feel any better...
If you've liked her and she just wanted to be friends- then you need to try to lay off of her.. BUT- I know how difficult that is.. so...


Just try to give her some space for awhile.. this is the best way to avoid any further drama between you and her...
I know you probably don't want to be away from her.. but a couple weeks will straighten everything out..

This is how my friend and I dealt with it.. and she was ready to talk to me again in a couple weeks...

You've got to try to get your mind off of your friend because thinking about her will cause more pain.. and trust me- its not very fun...

I know EXACTLY how you feel- I was in this situation not more than 6 months ago..
If you haven't told her how you feel yet- you NEED to.. I know she might not like you back and that your relationship might not grow to anything more.. but you still gotta take the chance..
I know that if you don't tell her how you feel- you'll only drive yourself crazy and into depression.. which is not where you wanna go...
If she doesn't feel the same way about you- then you just have to try to move on (and I know how tough that is.. since I myself couldn't do it... I ended up liking my best girlfriend 3 times.. and its not pretty what happened)
Try to find something else to focus your thoughts on.. like a favorite TV show or just try to find another girl who likes you the way you like them (no.. not to use the girl to get your friend off your mind..)

my friend is in the shittiest situation. her mom is abitch, she fucks random guys, sometimes hits her, calls her fat and ugly, makes her cry, locks her in her room, and has mood swings. i honestly think her mom has some mental disorder or something. she doesnt deserve to have kids because she is a horrible evil bitch and makes my friend feel like shit. now i am the one she calls after she fights with her mom and is sobbing, and i feel so b ad beacause i dont even know what to say half the time. seh cant live with her dad, grandpa/grandma or anyone else. her mom hates me and my mom for no apparent reason and constantly says shit about us. now i do NOT know what to do and im on the verge of crying because i feel so stressed bcause i feel like it is my responsibility to help her, but i dont know what to do . i told her any time she wants she can stay with us for whatever amount of time, but since her mom hates us we're both afraid her mom would drive over here, steal her, and then yell or hit her or something. im trying to think whats best for my friend, but she doesnt want to have any people that are from like foster homes or anything get involved , and she doesnt want to switch schools or move because it is a big step for her. she is very afraid and i need to know how to help, and i know youre going to say get the police or something involved but i just dont know what to do because what if her mom gets pissed and like beats me up or something or if my friend moves away and becomes depressed and hates me for ratting her out or whatever i know its for her own good but that is the last thing on her mind.

First off- do not feel like this is your fault.. because it is NOT your fault.. nor will it ever be...
I know you said both you and your friend are scared that by telling the police- her mom will go off on a rampage and hit your friend... but if you don't tell the police.. at least have your friend (or do it yourself if she doesn't feel comfortable) tell your counselor at school how her mom is abusing her... If she has any marks on her- then it provides proof- but if not.. then you might not be thought to be telling the truth...
And if you would talk to your friend before either of you tells the school counselor- that would be great! and if your friend doesn't want you to tell the counselor- tell her that you really care about her.. and you don't want her to be hurt anymore... If you listen to her and don't tell the counselor- then this problem will just persist and your friend could seriously get hurt...
Remember- no matter what you do.. someone needs to tell a teacher or school counselor about this mom's abuse so that your friend can be taken to somewhere safe...

There are two ways to find out if this guy likes you
1. have a friend ask him (when you aren't around) if he likes you.. be sure that you can trust this friend to tell you what he says.. and if he does end up liking you.. then just go up to him and tell him you like him too and then you will probably go out

2. the other.. and harder way to find out if he likes you is to ask him yourself.. Now I know how much courage this takes.. and its tough.. but if you can find the courage deep down inside you- go up to him and go through the usual "hey" "how are you" "good" "thanks" and then say, "this is really hard for me to say- but i like you and I was wondering if you liked me back" if he does.. he'll say it.. then most likely ask you out..
(I suggest you do #2 when no one is around- to save yourself embarrasment)

There is this one certain person that gets me really REALLY confused. Everyone says that we should go out and that he keeps on flirting with me...

Anywhos I like him because he's fun and rebelious and just awesome. He's fun to talk and hang with and I get along with him just absolutely fine.

In classes I would catch him staring at me and he would always want to partner up with me (but that may be because I'm smart and he's not too smart..=X) He would always poke me to try and make me laugh and tell jokes and such.

I know that this may be just his personality but idk. I'm hoping he likes me..because I like him. I know that there are about a bazillion questions like this on here but none of them helps.

From what you've seen above, you'd say he likes me but read this part: He usually hugs his [girl] friends and hangs out with one of the girl all the time (like go to movies with patrick and her and skate with her) and he wouldn't answer Katey when she asked if he liked me in front of me

It's sort of my habit to say "ew" when people ask or say "You should go out with/ Do you like (Name of a boy)" so whenever Katey or Jo (girl) says that I kept on saying ew in front of the boy although I like him.

Well- how a guy acts around you is how he really feels (trust me- I am one).. so if he's acting really sweet and nice to you when he's with you- then I'd say he likes you.. I mean.. even when i wasn't going out with my girlfriend i have now (like when I liked her a couple months before).. I still had friends that were girls and they hugged me and stuff.. but that didn't mean I liked them.. I was so focused on liking my Lauren (who is my girlfriend now.. sorry if this is getting confusing)
So- he most likely likes you.. and you should ask him (in private) if he likes you.. then if he says yes.. tell him that you like him too.. and he will probably ask you out

Long distance relationships are difficult- and lying just makes them even more difficult...

What you need to do is come clean and tell him that you lied and you are not experienced in kissing...

If he is a good boyfriend- he'll understand that you were trying to sound like you knew what you were doing.. and he will forgive you

As for not being experienced in kissing- I can't really help there because I'm not too experienced myself... so you're definitely not alone!

Does anyone know any dsl,high speed internets for affordable prices. I need something that I could talk on the phone and be able to be online. I was thinking about getting sbc/at&t but I want to pay something under 30$. I use to have Netzero but it was way too slow.

I know you did mention that you don't want to pay for SBC/AT&T... but my family recently purchased it-- and even though it was a bit costly- WE LOVE IT! All of our computers can be on at the same time and the phone can be used too...
Plus.. the internet works SUPER fast.. even without the fastest setting

Honestly- you should get SBC/AT&T high speed internet.. it is really great quality and if you call the company- they are EXTREMELY helpful..

ok i got my permit in july & so my driving test is in january. i did not drive for like 2 weeks. ive been busy because school starts soon & i had to get ready for that. i really dont like driving. i feel like im behind, because all of my friends are going on the highway & they got their permit around the same time i did. i did roads in my town, but not the highway or main street. my mom said im very good & i know what im doing. i just feel really behind & they make it seem like its a competition when i know it isn't. do you think im behind?? i thought since january isn't really close to know, im fine. i never had any problems yet, not even one. can anyone give me their opinion or experience??

I have this same problem- only I don't even have my permit, nor have I taken driver's ed
If it makes you feel any better.. I feel the same way- that all my friends are way ahead of me and I'll never be as good as them..

What you need to do is just focus on what you are doing.. and your progress level.. not anyone else's...
If you just worry about yourself- you'll be driving on the highway in no time.. and you'll pass your driver's test with flying colors..

what's the best way to get rid of pimples fast?

Hey-
I have pimple issues too.. and I always want what works the quickest..
I have found, though it sounds odd, that Lemon Juice works good..
all you need is a cotton swab-
just dab the lemon juice onto the cotton swab and then spread it on your pimpled areas... leave it on.. don't wash it off or anything.. and also.. don't touch your face.. it'll stop working if you do!
