AHH this is bad!

Question Posted Tuesday August 29 2006, 12:35 pm

Okay, I have a VERY important violin audition and I've been practicing my butt off all summer. I practiced for 2 hours yesterday and now my hand is cramping up (My right hand...which I need for bowing)

Any ideas on how to relieve the cramp...fast? I have the audition in 3hours! And no, I can't reschedule and this is very very important! Any suggestion will be a thanks =D and a 5 =]

Hey!
The best thing you can do right now is to rest your hand and massage it... maybe put it in cool water to loosen the muscles in your hand

Hope I helped!

The main thing is not to use it right now, massage it, and move it very slowly. spread your fingers out and then slowly make a fist, do that for a while, then make your hand really loose and then shake it. Keep massaging it with hot or cold water, remember dont play the violin right now, you can play until you audition starts

I hope I helped!
