What will they say no to?
Releasing it in school?
Well the last time I checked, you dont run pranking plans by your parents to see if you are allowed to do it.

If you release a hamster in school, nothing will happen. Well it might run into some dark corner, or some kid will get their hands on it and maul it to death or something.

Hamsters dont cause much havoc..they are a rodent..lots of schools have mice, so I'm assuming teachers will just put some mousetraps in the school and take care of it that way.

However funny it may sound to you, the plan will most probably backfire. What's the worst it could do anyway? It's not like hamsters are scary and everyone would be screaming, running and cause pandemonium or whatever.
The school would catch it and probably keep it anyway. and that would be a bit of a waste!
Leave out the animals. and if you really want to be immature at school, do another prank!!

Listen to your parents, no means no. I would listen to them, because you just spent money on a hamster, now you're planning on letting it go in your school and risk losing it in the school... plus a detention if they found out it was you. Just look at the consequences and I hope you make the right decion.
