well im in 8th grade and every year the 8th grade goes to washington dc.
i wanna go but im scared ill get upset and im getting upset now already [its in april] because like we need to room with 4 people and we only have 3 and the people im rooming with like dnt really care about the 4th person but like theyre really good friends, like the other two im rooming with and im good friends with them too but not as good as they are.
anyways i wanna know how i can not get upset about it like you barely spend anytime in your room but i need ways to not get upset.

My friends lately have been doing an abundance of activities without including me. They will go ice skating, or play tennis at the local YMCA. I do not know why they all of a sudden do not want anything to do with me, but it is really getting under my skin. I will call their houses but they will always be on the phone with my other friends. Basically, my question is:
1) How can I talk to my friends, and let them know how I feel.
2) After I talk to them, what is a good activity to do with them?

Gee-I just went through the same thing.
I ended up talking to my friends-challenging, but I did it.
Maybe they don't realize that they're doing this to you?
1)Speak straight from your heart. Whatever's on your mind, speak it. They're your friends because you can trust them-and this will test their trustworthiness.
2)Start by staying at one of your houses-just hanging out. Gradually work your way to what you used to do before they started leaving you out.

Hey. Well, I get these random "spells" as I call them, of depression. I don't know if I'm bipolar. And like, I have a pretty good life. Not perfect, obviously, but not as bad as other people's. I don't know what's wrong with me. Also, I have little to no self-esteem, if that helps at all. Help!! And thanks in advance :].

Everyone has these "spells". It's normal for the most part. As long as it's not all the time and you're not thinking of something like suicide, cutting, or purposely harming yourself in any way, I think you're fine.
Whenever you're blue, think of this:
THERE IS AT LEAST ONE PERSON THAT HAS A WORSE LIFE THAN YOU.
That's what I think of, and for the most part, it cheers me up. You only live life once, why live it sad?
As well as you, I have little to no self esteem; however, just think: you're prettier than someone else-and there's at least someone in the world who thinks your the most gorgeous person in the world.

The probable reason your lips are like that is because it's winter time.
The solution? Easy.
1. Slick on a bit of cocoa butter for a moisturizing, chocolate-flavored lip treat. It’s colorless and not too shiny.
2. After brushing your teeth, GENTLY brush your lips as well. This will exfoliate and take away chapping, and will also plump up the lips temporarily.
3. Keep hydrated! Be sure to drink lots of water throughout the day.
4. A dab of honey on your lips will act as a humectant, drawing moisture from the air to your skin, keeping your lips soft, plump, and kissably sweet.
5. A dab of vegetable glycerin mixed with vitamin E or wheat germ oil makes an effective, nourishing moisture barrier. (Pure vegetable gycerin is available in natural food centers.)

okay, so my boyfriend and i have been dating for about 2 months. we hit it off really well & we have a very very healthy relationship. we are both strong christians, and have morals, but the farthest we've gotten is french kissing. Now we have friends of ours that we double date with alot. They've gotten way farther than us. like they haven't gone all the way, but he's like fingered her & she says that they've done things that she regrets. but idk. i don't really have an issue with going any farther with my boyfriend. but is it wrong to do anything? because i just feel like a goody goody.

As far as you want to go is how far you should go. Don't do something you may regret-especially "going all the way". There are way too many consequences, especially if you don't use a condom. (I'm sure you don't want to be lectured about the downfalls of having sex, lol.)

Rake leaves, Babysit, Shovel Snow, landscaping, you can hand out flyers for pizza places ect...deliver newspapers, sell stuff on ebay, walk dogs,go to your local library [they should have jobs], go to your park and rec,clean houses, referee for a sport you enjoy, run errands on your bicycle, wash cars, loansharking....etc. :)

this is a long story but i got 2 give background info!
so a week from saturday i was at shool (its like jewish church) and i saw this boy and had my ffriend entroduce us because she knows him from baseball. usually i have nno problem talking to boys but around him i got so nervous. i couldent say three words so i walked away. then this saturday i saw him at the park so i went up to him and asked him if he wanted to go to a party that night. he said sure and so i asked for his # and said id call him with the details. he gave me his cell # and i texted him that night and gave him all the details. he actually came and i came about a half hour after. when i got there i asked him if he wanted to dance and he said sure. we danced for a while until he had to go. he was talking to one of my guy friends and said he wanted to kiss me. but i wasnt ready for that because i didnt know him. so before he left he leaned in to kiss me so i gave him a kiss on the cheek. and while we were dancing i told him i had a huge crush on him. but some people were talking that i wanted to make my ex jelous. but i couldent care less about my ex. the boy i was dancing with, he has the most amazing eyes and hes so nice i just want to be with him. but i think im scaring him off. i dont want to play games and wait until he texts me or whatever. he knows i like him. and yesterday i texted him twice but he never answered. and today he texted me back and i was like im nvr gnna c u again and hes like i gtg do hw now bye. so now i dont know i dont really want to lose him but im pretty sure he just wanted to hang out for a night. i could handle that though. i just want to know your opinion about the situation thanx!

I think he was just using you for a kiss, if he's never going to see you again, then he doesn't really care about you :(. You could have scared him off sending him all of those text messages, I wouldn't text him anymore or try and contact him in any way.

13/f. i loved butterflys 2 years ago and have never had a boyfriend so my mom said i was a lesbian. and she wasnt joking or anything. now i like black and dark colors she says im gothic and she says goths like peircings~i have had both my ears double peirced for about 4 years~and now since she says im gothic which im not she took all my earings and made me take out my earings to make them close up. she reads my diary and makes sure about wat i do or think or anything my friends do or just everything and makes sure i do nothing bad. so one day i wrote in my diary 'mom since your reading this and i no you will leave me alone i hate you i always have u give me no space' i got grounded for a month and she told every1. she doesnt have to read it and espesially not tell my whole family and cusins. its my diary shouldnt it be private? did i do sumthing wrong or what?

You have to talk to her-this is a whole trust issue. I don't think she trusts these "kinds" of people.
If you really aren't, assure her that you're not-wear pink if she thinks you're gothic and write in your diary "I know this one kid, Bob*, and he is super hot." -OR- "There was this girl hitting on me today and it was totally disgusting!" if she still thinks you're lesbian.
Hide your diary in a really, really complicated spot. IE: In a sibling's room, between your mattress and pillowcase, in your underwear draw, etc.
AND IF SHE STILL CONTINUES, DISCONTINUE USING A DIARY.
