Many of my friends say that I am a good listener and advice giver. Because I have experienced many good and bad situations, I know what it is like to feel down or confused. I am a mother, daughter, sister, girl friend, and friend. And if I can't figure out how to answer a question, I'm sure I know someone who can. And I've come to notice that most of the questions people ask they already know the answer to, they just need a little reassurance. Okay I asked a question before about the pill and I was wondering something else....If I do decide to have sex w/out a condom, and get pregnant say five months later....if I keep taking the pill, will it kill the fetus before it gets into the really late stages of pregnancy? If anyone knows any websites with that information, i'd appreciate it a lot...i've searched and can't find anything....Thanks

If you take birth control while you are pregnant, it can damage the fetus, but it can also dmage your insides as well. It can even mke it so you will never be able to have children. if you were thinking of this being an alternative to an abortion, its not a very good or safe idea.

Okay, i like this guy and he can be SO SO sweet sometimes.. but he really can be a jerk too. He's called me names, and i think he takes advantage of a lot of people... but to me, he's still great, and i try to tell myself that he's not, but it doesn't work! i've liked him for over a year now. right now he's mad at me, and he tends to do this a lot. he like finds reasons to get mad, and he won't even tell me what it is! i don't understand it. i just need help on what i should tell him or what i should do. Well sorry hun but the truth of the matter is you need to GET OVER HIM. This guy is an ass. He calls you names and picks fights with you!?!? What could you possible see in him? This guys is treating you like crap. What you need to do is find someone who will treat you right, and not put you through all this stress. Find somone who has respect for you and will treat you like you are worth it cuz you are.

And there is this guy at my church. He is soo funny and he's a really good Christian, which is very important for me, and he has an awesome personality and is very fun to be around. The only problem is, he is really small. He is like 1/2 a foot shorter than me and weighs about 30 lbs less. Beside all this, I really like him a lot because of the inside, which is really what counts, but I'm afraid of what my friends would say if we dated. Because well, I've been known for going for the good-looking guys. So what should I do?

If you lie him then go for him. You right, what counts is whats on the inside. If your friends can't appreciate the fact that you are with a great guy, and all they can see if his size, then they are not your real friends, and thier oppinions don't matter.

I get the worst cramps when I get my period. It's usually my first or second day when I get these horrible cramps. I take Motrin, drink tea and use a heating pad. Nothing I do seems to really work and my cramps get so terrible I just want to die. Is there something I can do or take that will make them go away?

I suggest you see a docotr, and get soemthing prescribed. My firned used to be like that, and her doctor prescribe dher something called naproxin, and she feels great now.

I'm a 17 year old manle, and I have my mood changes just like every1 else, but it seems when i get depressed...it really hits me. LAtely it's hit be pretty hard becos it just appears the everything i do or everyone i come in contact with i just screw up, and i often have this feeling like i just want to get away from it all, just...go somewhere and leave my problems. Are these just normal feelings? and does anyone have any ideas for getting out of these moods? It sounds like your depressed and you have some confidence issues. You probably messed up at something before like really bad, and now everytime you try to do something else for soemone you have doubts and lose confidence in doing it and make you screw up. I'm not sure if this is true, but it may be a possiblity. maybe you just need to do some stuff to boost your spirits. try haning yout with your friends, going out somewhere, or watching a funny movie.

Due to the fact that you guys really weren't together very long, at all, I would say you probably just like that feeling. The feeling of being in someone's arms can be very comforting. You probably just like that comforting feeling. Fi there is any other guy you like, try hanging with him, and see if you feel the same way with him, or if its all weird cuz you can't your ex.

OK guys.. A really cute guy likes me and invited me to go to his football game tomorrow since he's one of the starting players. I know to cheer for the team and when he does good, etc.. Well I have been quite puzzled about this lately....when you're taking the pill, do you have to use a condom to help prevent pregnancy? I don't need it for STD's b/c my bf and I don't have any nor have we been with any other people ever before. So any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

If you've been on birth control for more than 3 months, than you shouldn't need to use a condom, becasue by then your body is used to the birth control and doesn't accept any sperm into your eggs. It takes 3 months for birth control, to be in full control. But if you havn't been on it for 3 months, then I sugeest you use a condom for those first 3 months, just to use it as a back-up, because there is still a small chnace you can get pregnant, and you shouldn't want to take that risk.

Im going to get my ears piercing in about a half hour on a 1-10 scale how bad does it hurt? And do you think i should get a double piercing in a few months?

On a scale from 1-10, ear piercing is like a 2. It doesn't hurt at all! Honestly. if you're 1st ones are healed in a couple months, then go ahead and go for the double piercing.

I have this gut feeling that my brother is gay. I really believe that he is. I don't have a problem with it or anything because I love gay people. His best friend is bisexual even though he won't admit it. He's kissed guys in the back of school and I've seen him and he also kisses girls. So I pretty much know he's bi. So getting back to my brother, I just really think that he's gay! I swear it's like i have gay-dar or something like that, he's always staring at my boyfriend when he comes over, when he has his friends over, they are in his room for like 2 freakin hours WITH THE DOOR LOCKED and if he hears me walking up to the door he yells at me. I mean come on, he's never had a girlfriend and he always says he doesn't want one and that he'd never get married. He says, and I will quote, "Girls are a waste of my time." When I told some of my friends that I thought he was gay, they all responded with "I always knew something was up with your brother." Or something along those lines. Even guys that barely know my brother say that he's gay. My only worry is that my dad is homophobic, and my mom said that she'd be really upset if she found out that he was gay even though she has gay friends. How do I tell my mom of my suspicions? If it's true how would my dad react in the future when he comes out? How can I deal with this??

Well how old is your brother? If he's still very young, there may be a chance that he is not gay, and maybe just curious, like his friend. If I were you, I really wouldn't worry about it. if he is gay, eventually he will come out with it on his own, maybe he is just not ready yet, or like I said maybe he's just curious, so he's not sure if he should say anything just yet. Either way, I don't think its your job to say anything, just let time pass and see how things turn out. This really isnt't anything to worry about.

I'm 13 and I got my period November of 2003. My mom doesn't really like me using tampons, I never have, and I never really wanted to. Until now. They seem some much easier, and more conveniant.
