Tampons?
I'm 13 and I got my period November of 2003. My mom doesn't really like me using tampons, I never have, and I never really wanted to. Until now. They seem some much easier, and more conveniant. My question is, which kind do I buy? Mine aren't usually really heavy, but they aren't light either. So what brands to you reccomend?

I reccomend Tampax Pearl. I use those, they're really good. Playtex Slimfits work rather well, too. I also agree with you - tampons really are much easier and more convenient.

Hey there. I totally was in the same situation as you when I was your age! My mom didn't want me to wear 'em either! But, you are right..they are A LOT easier than pads! And also, a lot more comfortable. My recommendation to you would be to get Regular absorbancy **Unscented**. The regulars can hold more than the slim fits and they are really easy to put it. A great brand that's easy to use (for first users especially) are the Playtex Gentle Glide (plastic applicator). Also, if you have some super heavy days and then some now so heavy days you could get a Playtex variety pack that has everything from Slims to Supers. Also, since it will be your first time and you aren't really sure if you can keep yours in for the whole 7-8 hours with no leaks I would suggest you to wear a panty liner or thing maxi pad with it. I would reccomend tampax regular abosorbency- THey are The mOSt comFortaBle and have a plastic applicator.

o.b. is the best tampons and they are so much more comfortable then any other and they come in small boxes so if u dont like them u dont really waste your money! hope it helped and good luck!

i reccomend teen satin or tampax pearl, i have used both, and they are comfortable and easy to use!

i use playtex. tampons are so much better than pads. pads just gross me out. you dont even feel tampons and it's so much cleaner, i guess you could say. use tampax or playtex.

I use tampax pearl the rgulars b/c if ur not heavy and ur not lite then ur in the middle so use regulars and Tampax pearl is what u wanna use there so easy and comftorable......drop me one if u need anything else
