Bags under eyes

Question Posted Friday September 17 2004, 4:26 am

I don't normally get bags under my eyes, but today my eyes are really, really puffy. Are there any home remedies for this, besides cucumbers on the eyes? Thanks.

The cold spoon thing, or just a chilled gel eye mask + some concealer should help.

Take an ice cube and rub it under your eyes. Or a cool cloth.

You can use concealer, masks, and tea bags. Also, if you put a spoon in the freezer for a little bit and then take it out and put it under your eyes, it'll make the bags go away. If you get more sleep, it'll help also. Hope I helped :)

Get a spoon and put it in the freezer for a little while. When its really cold, take it out and put it over your eye. You'll be able to feel the difference. Dont leave it over your eye for too long or it will start to hurt.
When you take it off your eye will be red so try not to do it right before you leave the house, before the redness has gone away. Give yourself a good amount of time between when you do it and when you leave.

Also, you can try taking a white eyeshadow and brushing some under your eye near the corner. You'd be surprised the difference it can make.

Get more sleep, drink more water, and don't rub them. That's really the best you can do for them. Oatmeal packs or masks can be beneficial for puffy eyes. Also, Mary Kay makes this great yellowish foundation that goes under your regular foundation and it's designed to hide dark circles. There are also lotions and cremes on the market just for treating this malady.

If you have bags under your eyes that means that your tired. Try getting a lot of sleep this weekend. Sunday night before school on Monday... go to sleep early. Nothings wrong with having bags under your eyes. Make-up covers it.

well for one thing cucumbers dont do a dang thing what it is is the juices from vegetables and such. What you could do is get an alavera plant and use the sap from its leaves and you can get better that way. And another way is laying a warm-wet rag on your face and just leave it there for a lil bit. That works for some people anyways i hope it works for you.
