a boo boo
At school yesterday, I slipped on some loose rocks and split my knee open, I know, GROSS! It stings, and the bleeding slowed down, but it still does bleed a little! I don't want to bleed through my clothing! Any advice???

First of all, did you wash it thoroughly with soap and water? If it's still split and bleeding, you may need butterfly bandaids or maybe even stitches. Have one of your parents look at it or the school nurse to determine if it needs medical attention. As far as keeping it from bleeding on your pants, get some clean gauze bandages and medical tape and tape a loose bandage over the wound. That will keep the dirt and fabric dye out of it, your blood off your clothes, and it's loose so air can still get in and help it dry up and granulate (form a scab.)

Since it's still bleeding, you should go to the doctors or whoever and get it stitched up because it could get infected. If you don't wanna go to the doctors, just put some disinfecting spray or just alcohal on it and then put one of those big bandages on it and then wrap something around it so it can give pressure and the bleeding will stop. I know that sounds confusing but I hope I helped :)

If its still bleeding i hope you've gone to a doctor about it, if it's that bad it'll probably need stitches or something. If you've gone to the docoter they'll put something on it, most likely a thick cotton pad or something over it, then a bandage around it to hold it in place, if you've got that it won't bleed through to your clothes. IF you arent goin to the doctors, just use a bunch of tisues or similar and put a bandage around it. :-)
