Hey-

Well, first- if the box didn't come with a CD, you have to go to apple.com and find your way to iTunes download.. and download it.
Then, plug your iPod Nano into the computer with the USB port into the computer. Then, your iPod's information will pop up and you can name it [Your Name Here]'s iPod. You charge it the same way that you just did. Plug it into your computer and it will show a battery if it is charging, then you just gave to wait a little while, and it will charge.. and it will be obvious when its done charging. And when it says "Do not disconnect" don't disconnect it until it says you are able to.

A guy appreciates food more than anything. Make him some cookies or buy him some candy. I don't suggest you get him a teddy bear- because that's a bit too feminine for a guy.
Maybe take a trip to the mall and buy him a shirt, pants, jeans or a hat.
Don't make yourself too obligated to get him anything big or anything at all, because you have only been going out for a month. Let the relationship go further before you spend too much money. But, if you want to buy him or make him something, then go right ahead. I just don't want you in the same predicament I was in where the relationship was too rushed.

hey umm i really love this girl but she lives in Michigan and i live in Ohio its about 3 hours to her house and i do know her i have met her in person a few times and i talk to her on the phone for hours everyday but the problem is that there is this winterfest comming up and i have no idea what to do and because its around Valentines Day. Valentines Day is Febuary 14 and winterfest is Febuary 10th. so yea what should i get her!! thanks!!

I am a 14 year old female and I am the younger sister. I have an older sister and I live with my mother. Me and my sister are total oppisotes down to the tee. My sister is tall, beautiful, SKINNY, smart, etc. I'm none of those. I am pretty smart but I slack off alot. My mom and my sister have this really good relationship but I don't. My mom makes my sister monitor me. Sure I'm a little overwieght but my mom brings it up everywhere infront of everybody. She makes me feel like I'm a disgrace. She compains about how much I eat and what I do because I watch TV. She always compares me to my sister. She talks about how she eats better and what she was like at my age. I feel so wrong. I feel like I don't deserve to be here. They both go out on dates and I'm left alone which doesn't bother me as much because when they are home they complain about me and what I do. I'm pretty but just a little chubby. But i feel like no one really cares who I am. My mom and sister go through my room together or used to read my diary. What do I do. I don't wan to talk to anyone because I've tried that. Don't tell me to talk to them because I have and they understood and then the next day they forgot even when I asked them. I feel lost and hurt because my family really doesn't care. I need to know how I can make this better or if there are people I can talk to wihtout being there face to face because I'm a little sensitive.

This is a tough thing to go through. I can really empathize the whole situation.

I'm sure when your mom compares you to your sister, its not to hurt you. She wants the best for you; she's trying to motivate you to be more proactive.

If how you are is what you are fine with, then by all means- stay that way. Don't ever change because someone told you that you "weren't good enough," because EVERY person in this world has good things about them. Don't think you're a disgrace, because there's at least one person in the world who would disagree with you- and that one person is me.
I don't think you're a disgrace, you're just in a tough situation right now- and time passes, and it will stop.

a girly, yet still kinda tomboyish, girl

abercrombie mixed with some sporty.. I like variety

I Like girls with blue and brown eyes

I like brown haired girls, and blond haired girls (in that order)

some freckles are cute.. but too many is crazy.. even though the girl can't really control that


I say, just be yourself- there is a guy that likes you out there- you probably just haven't met him!

sophomore. im currently taking advanced geometry and i hate it! i was much more an algebra type person so i was planning on taking algebra 3 next year instead of trig. or whatever but i heard its very hard and even if you passed algebra 2 with like an A you still end up with Cs and Ds and stuff. is it really that bad? id prefer answers only from people who've taken the class.. thanks!

My school doesn't have Algebra 3, but we have Advanced Algebra.. (I'm in Algebra 2- and I know you said only to answer if you've had the class)
I've heard that its easy.. but I'm not sure if its the same class...

If doing Algebra is what you like, I would suggest taking it. I personally like Algebra more than Geometry too...

No class is hard- people just say a class is hard because they did bad on purpose (like laziness) or they just didn't understand.

If you would consider yourself an "above average" student, take Algebra 3.

this may sound weird but im kinda worried.. ok for startes my boyfriend and i had only made out with people up until we started going out.. since then weve done the manual stuff but nothing else. well last nite jus as like a tease i guess i swiped my tongue across his.. yeah.. for a whole .2 seconds. i mean it barely even touched and then i wiped my tongue with my sleeve and his sleeve right after lol [kinda a joke, you had to be there its a long story]. anyway. today my throat hurts a little, and im worried i got something! he donated blood a couple weeks ago and they called and said he was clean so he doesnt have any major stds or anything. am i being paranoid and is this sore throat just bad timing or what? no smartass answers please =[. thanks 16-f

If they called and said his blood was clean- its a really high chance that they are right, and he doesn't have any STDs
I believe that your sore throat is really just coincidental and bad timing.
Just take normal medicine for it, and drink plenty of water, and you'll feel better in no time!

I lost my virginity to one of my guy friends on jan.7th. We were fine and talked a couple times a week up till yesterday. He sent me a text message yesterday and was telling me how he liked one of our friends and wanted my input on what he should do. I obviously told him that i wouldnt tell him what i thought because i care alot about him and dont want to see them together.

He told me that i knew that i was just a one time thing and i need to get over it. i got really upset and started flipping out on him. He said i was just a booty call and i should of kept my legs closed and quit throwing myself on him.

(he is the one that Asked me out that night, hes the one that wanted to have sex with me)

Im really upset and i cant handle this anymore. Its the second time in three months that he has used me.

I have a lot of time on my hands and am looking for some good books to read. I am not sure what to read though. I like books about teenagers going through tough times, kind of books that a teenage girl can relate to. I liked Crank and Speak. So anything kind of like either of those two books would be great. Now, you see, I don't have bad acne at all. But every one and a while, i get random bumps. They are very tiny, but still noticable. Sometimes they are red and others and just my skin tone.

I have average skin; not oily or dry.

Any HOME REMEDIES for good results?

Lemon juice works well

apply it with a Qtip and leave it on.. don't touch it

How do you put a picture as a caption for your pictures on myspace?

Use tinypic.com or photobucket.com ...

google the picture you want, and then save it to your computer and then you upload it on one of those sites, and it will give you a code..

use the one that starts with

" " or something

then paste the code in the caption area, and
walaa!

I went to the dermatolagist last year and got a product that worked. I ran out of it and now my acne is coming back all over agian and it seems to get worse each day even though I wash my face twice a day it doenst seem to help. Are there Any products that I can get cheap from the store that will help clear my acne fast. It's really embarrasing and I want to have clear skin for once. And my skin is also VERYYY senstive so I need a product that wont irrate my skin.

Lemon Juice works great.. it really does..

only apply it once a day [nighttime is best] with a Q-tip onto the infected areas...

Just don't touch your face afterward, because it will stop the Lemon Juice from working..

The Lemon Juice stings for just a few seconds... just so you're aware.. since you said your skin is very sensitive...
