& valentines day comes up...what are so ideas of some things i could possibly get him?

A guy appreciates food more than anything. Make him some cookies or buy him some candy. I don't suggest you get him a teddy bear- because that's a bit too feminine for a guy.
Maybe take a trip to the mall and buy him a shirt, pants, jeans or a hat.
Don't make yourself too obligated to get him anything big or anything at all, because you have only been going out for a month. Let the relationship go further before you spend too much money. But, if you want to buy him or make him something, then go right ahead. I just don't want you in the same predicament I was in where the relationship was too rushed.

well boys love food you could makes him some cookies, homemade gifts always show how much you care. Or make him a mix cd of his favorite songs or songs that you both love. Make him a homemade card with a little poem inside saying how much you care about him.
