hey ive been going out with my boyfriends ernesto since may 15th and i really like him.. but he always ditches me for hsi friends.. he never even thinks about ditchin them once for me.. it really makes me sad and i dont know what to do i always tell him it hurts me and hes like im sry ill stop.. but he keeps doin it.. he never really talks to me in school and we dont really have a real conversation.. i know i should dump him butt ill probably regret it:-/

DUMP HIM! And don't regret it because if he doesn't talk to you in school or have real conversations then he isn't a good boyfriend @ all. If he keeps doing it then he doesn't care enuff about you and you've been going out for a long time. So if he still does it smthns wrong. If you really like him then you probably will regret it. But hes just not worth regreting it. NEVER go out with a guy that doesn't treat you right. And you'll get over him eventually. It'll be hard untill then but you'll get over it and everything will be ok

Hey i have this friend thats really nice, but she gets kinda different when shes around like more popular people and it really annoys me, but when shes with me shes like the best person ever. How should i deal with her different personalities

Shes probably just trying to fit in...and make them like her and stuff. Talk to her and be like "Why did you say blah blah blah when you were around _____ It didn't seem like smthn you'd normally say" or smthn like that. You could try to ignore it but then you'd just get madder and madder..so just talk to her about it or just say things like "I hate how all those popular people are really snobby" (*if they are) or "I think it's weird how people change to try to fit in" and if she really doesn't get it be like "I've kinda been noticing you've been acting different around me then other people like ___ and ____. Is everything ok?" and make it seem like you care or smthn (*not that you don't just like make it seem like you think theres a problem without really saying it so you're not lying about thinking theres a problem) but if she doesn't stop and you're really getting annoyed....maybe get a couple of your friends who feel the same way and tell her that she acts different around you guys then the more popular people and you're getting annoyed. That'd be kinda hard to do yourself so it'd be easier to get a group of people to talk to her about it

Hey! First of all i'd like to say i luv ur coloumn... one of my friends suggested u to me they've written to u b4. Okay, here's the deal... I like this guy at my skool, but so do 3 of my other friends. I know that one of my friends would totally hate me if I went out with him. the other 2 said thhey wouldn't get mad but I know they would... He's said that he likes me and 3 of my other friends! This sounds really mean but do you care about the friend that would hate you?? Because theres all those things like "Chicks before Dicks" and stuff but if shes not a very good friend and you'd rather go out w.him then be friends with her then you should go out w.him!! But if you didn't care about her you probably wouldn't be asking soooo...I don't think you should go out w.him. I mean, that really sucks that if he likes you, you can't go out with him because of your friends. But you probably shouldn't like him/go out with him. Its like so hard to just not like someone tho =( You and all of your friends should get together and really talk about it. Because all of them would probably do something like, say they won't go out w.him, but then they would if he asked them out. So have like, a discussion and go thru all the senarios w.them and PROMISE that you'll all do the same thing. Because you don't want to say no when he asks you out and then have one of your friends say yes. So talk with your friends and promise you'll all do the same thing. (*and they might not be mad @ you if you go out w.him...but more like they'd just be mad)

Ok Im seriously not a cutter. But i got scratched up by my pet rabbit and i dont want ppl thinking im a cutter at school 2morrow. Im not gonna wear a hoodie all day tomorrow or a long sleeve shirt so what are some good ways to cover it up?

hey ok i need some advice like crazy!! i really really like this guy at my school and hes like muy popular and hott like whoa. and i've heard that he kinda likes me. but i'm not sure cuz u know how rumors can be! but like i'm not the kinda girl who like goes out with that kinda guy cuz i'm not like half popular as he is. i don't know if hes too scared to take a chance w/me or if the rumors arent true. how can i talk to him or show him that im intrested, without like making a fool outta myself in front of all the popular guys and him???/??? help me!!

Just tell him! Like you'll be really freaked out right before you talk to him, but then you'll be happy you did! Because isn't it killing you that he doesn't know? Talk to him when theres no one else around and if people are always around him just be like "_____ can I talk to you for a second" and if hes like sure and doesn't move then be like "Lets go over here..." and if hes like no then hes a jerk and don't waste your time!! Its gonna be hard to do but if you like IM him to tell him then you'll look like a chicken. And you can't control what his friends think, so just forget them. Because if you care what other people think then you'll never do anything you want to. And you never know if rumors are true or not so just don't listen to them becuase you really don't know...but just talk to him about it, it might be easier to be friends with him first, but then if you turn into really good friends then you might not wanna mess up your friendship and then you won't tell him how you feel...so if you tell him before you're really good friends it might work better...its gonna be hard to tell him you like him but its worth it for sure

Well see my friend, knows my brothers girlfriends brother and lives by him and all. He's trying to hook us up, but then theirs a dance so he asked if i was going, since i am he told the other kid (brothers girlfriends brother) and he mite go. Since my friend is going (he's a boy, same name as brothers girlfriends brother)I want to go to but is to shy. Only because my parents say im too young to date or think about boys. Im in 7th grade, but he's in a grade younger. Thing that sucks is im shy of boys because of what parents said, They wont let me do anything, go to fair without an adult (did it anyways, went with other friend (girl) and her cousins, n her mom dropped them off. Should I take the risk to not be shy and go to the dance and stuff and like keep it from my parents. OR not do anything be shy to all the boys, not being able to do anything and suffer. And yes i will suffer.

Yah, you should go. Like if you're shy around them, then you just have to tell yourself theres no reason to by shy! And you could either tell your parents you're going as friends (*like go with a big group of people) or get your brother to talk to them or you could just hide it...but that might not be a good idea because they'll be mad if they find out!

Lets say my boyfriend's name is Randy. Me and Randy have been going out for.. 3 1/2 weeks or so. I love to hear from him, we can talk on the phone for hours. He's.. a partier.. I sometimes do stuff like that, but only on RARE occasions. After about 5 days of dating, a girl that hangs around with him tells me that she likes him, a lot. I'm not the jealous type, believe me. Now she's starting to say stuff like "Oh the stuff I'd do with Randy" Today he told me that he thought that she was hot, but he likes me better. So now I'm stressing out over that because both of them are partiers and stuff MIGHT happen if they are together at a party and I'm not. Randy tells me that he loves me and stuff, but both of them (him and that girl that likes him) seem very attracted to eachother.
How do I talk to him about it without seeming like I don't want him to be around her anymore. I don't want to be a control freak, and I don't want to seem like I don't have any trust in him, but he does have a history of cheating, and I don't want to be hurt. What was he thinking telling you he thinks shes hot??!!? Anyway, I would just sit down with him when no one else is around and just tell him what you're thinking, ask him if he ever is going to do anything with her and if hes like OMGOSH NO HOW CAN YOU NOT TRUST ME!! Just tell him you can trust him but you really like him and you don't wanna loose him to this other girl. I know it might be hard to talk to him about it since you've only been going out for 3 1/2 weeks, but you'll feel more comfortable around him if he knows how you feel. He might get really mad tho so just make sure you don't yell or anything =/ You can also try talking to the girl, not being mean but telling her how much you like Randy and how much he likes you and stuff like taht so she knows you have no intention of breaking up

Hi its Lissa...okay i well i got my progress report in the mail today and iim failing 3 classes and passing 3 (those aint that great either) and i told my mom and now shes all pissed like REALLY pissed she calls every 2 minutes n yells at me and she's like 'WHAT THE HELL!' n we have to go to my aunts funeral tomorrow at 11 am and now she's saying i can't go because of my grades, isn't that gay? shes my AUNT! and she's also like your not going into drivers ed and never getting a car EVER if u dont get all good grades and blah blah blah its really pissing me off i even started crying. im doing better now, i turn in most of my work im just not that smart and she expects me to be all smart and shit when im not...she keeps bugging me about it and im so annoyed...and thats just on the phone what the hell am i gonna do when she gets home from work!? she knows my 'situation' or she should cuz when school started i was really depressed and suicidal and everything was messed up, now im on anti depression medicine so im doing better and trying harder in school. my counselor even told me not to be so hard on myself i have a lot goin on and idk what to do about this...sorry this is long but ah..what do i do? thanks so much!!!

Ask your mom how not going to your aunts funeral will change your grades. Because it won't. And you should still be aloud to go!! Explain to her that you try really hard and you think you need extra help so she should let you stay after school or buy you a tutor (*yah...not exactly what you want but she'll think you wanna make some big change and might let you off the hook...and plus it'll be worth getting extra help) and if shes really being mean (*haha my friend did this once...) tell your mom that you're going to tell the consuler @ school that she mentally abuses you (*lOl even if its not true...but it might get you in more trouble)

ok i got this bacterial infection in my throat adn i was prescribed pills but i dont care much for them. i took them how i was suposed to for a week and i have like a bunch left but i feel fine, should i continue taking them even tho i feel fine?

Yah...my 6th grade science teacher told us about this (*I have no idea why this sticks out so much in my mind....) but she said that you might not become immune to the virus if its not all gone but the virus could become like...immune to the pills (*meaning it can fight off the pills so they don't work) So when it comes back there won't be any medicine to cure you =( So you have to take the pills for the amount of time prescribed

I NEED to learn how to swallow pills... i just cant do it, i have a huge gag reflex but i'm in so much pain and the only med. i can get is swallowable. Anyone know any tricks??

I need to learn too...I'm 14 and the childrens motrin I take is for like 8-11 yr olds =/ but anyways everyone always tells me to just put the pill on the back of your tounge, drink some water, and throw your head back. I haven't tried it yet, but I am going to very soon. I have a major gag relex too and I ALWAYS chew my food (*even yogurt..i dn y) so I def. know what you mean. Once when I was like 7 I put a pill in a piece of cheese and it went down when I didn't even realize it!! Try putting it in some food or just putting it on the back of your tounge!!

Yah thats perfect...my friends mom is a nurse and she said for every inch over 5 feet you should gain 5 pounds...you're NOT huge..you're normal..and plus weight really isn't an accurate way of telling how "big" someone is because you have to consider body fat percentage. Like if you wiegh 140 but your body fat % is low (*which would mean that you have a lot of muscle which is heavier then fat) then it wouldn't be as unhealthy as if your body fat % is high (*which would mean you have a lot of fat, which weighs less then muscle so to equal 140lbs you would need a lot of fat)Sorry if that got confusing!!
