I'm a mother of 2 boys who are 13 months apart. Talk about a handful. I'm a wife to the best husband I could have ever dreamed of.I'm one of the very blessed.
I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.
Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.
Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.

i have a best friend and she has a boyfriend and they are in love. but one thing about them going out is i dont like her boyfriend and me and my best friend have been friends since 4th grade and her boyfriend is coming between us. and me and my friend are usually at each others house and haveing late night calls and we dont do that anymore! and we are gettin in fights more often because of him! i dont no what to do! im afraid to tell her the truth cause she will deny it! and we will get in a big fight! so what should i do about it?
You should tell her your feelings. If she tries to turn it into a fight, assure her that is not your intention. Let her know you are concerned that your friendship is possibly being jeopardized and that is something you want to work out. She may get defensive and mad. If she does, give her some time to cool off about it.
I don't know why you don't like her boyfriend, but it may help to try to at least get along with him out of respect for her.
im a 14/f and i want to get my belly button pierced. I kno it will hurt alot but i can deal. whenever i try to ask my parents to let me get it though they say no because it will hurt, or because its mutilating my body. I dont understand why they say that though because its not like its their body, they always have the stupidest excuses. so how can i convince them to say yes?

I wanted to get my nose pierced as a teen, but my parents said no way until I was 18. So, I just waited out the time. I know it seems like forever, but it really isn't. Once you are 18, you can pierce whatever you want.
ALWAYS have body piercings done by a professional. Don't try to do it yourself in order to defy your parents. Doing it unprofessionally can cause many problems.
lets start out with saying I get good grades in school (not from cheating), have a lot of friends, and a good loving family at home. but lately i don't know what's up with me! i've gotten into the habit of stealing, from things like clothes from cousins, candy from stores, pencils pens etc., lipgloss from the dollar store, and here is the stupid worthless stuff that i've stolen: razors, tampons and pads, and bras from stores. also i've been cheating on homework and today at a volleyball game this girl had a really cute abercrombie jacket and i took it and stuffed it into my backpack which i feel HORRIBLE for, tomorrow i'm going to give it back to her and tell her i found it. also i've been having an attitude with my parents and lieing to them. i do not do drugs, sex, etc. i'm not like that. i'm only 13 and seriously lately i dont know what's up with me! i am really not that kind of person but i don't know why i am doing this! i'm catholic and i know i shouldn't be doing these things, but i can't help it! please do not suggest talking to a councelor or to my parents or someone about it. i really want to get out of the habit of stealing and lieing and cheating. thank you SOO much, i appreciate it A LOT. My best friend (a guy, 16) I'm 16/f told me today that he USED to like me alot alot and was going to ask me out even, but then decided he just wanted to be friends. Getting over some one takes time. I wish it could be done quickly, but that is not usually possible. The best thing you can do is steer clear of him and try to move on with some one else who deserves your attention.

Ok long story semi-short. Im 18, shes 17. Dating this girl for 8 months. Around new years she started talking to her X of 3 months (her first "love") and i found out a few days after that she still loved him and she admited it to me. a few days after that she realized she made a mistake and told me she was crazy, that people were just getting in her head. i told her ok, i just need some time to think. that we needed a break so i could forget about it. i told her i would probably go out on a few dates with some1 just to vent out and get it outa my system. and she was fine with that, i mean she told me she loved some1 else... and also durin the break was her time to PROVE to me that there is NOONE else out there for her. no1 she wants. We talked every day on the break and i told her every day that i loved her, that this wouldnt take long, and it would be me and her again soon. So we get back together. get on her myspace 2 nights ago and find out she was fucking a 20 year old "friend" while we were on our break. i confronted her. she said shes been suicial about it, shes regreated it, shes disgusted with herself... non stop crying.

In reality, if you expected her to not see other people on this break, you should have given her the same respect. It's not fair to ask her to prove devotion to you when you aren't doing the same.
You are going to have to either get over it and stay with her, or not get over it and move on. There is no way to have a healthy relationship with her if you are not going to be able to drop it. It isn't fair to either one of you.

I, personally, wouldn't sink to their low, low level. Some people are just jerks who have nothing better to do with their lives than to belittle others. Don't play that game with them. It isn't productive in the least bit.
I would say something to the effect of how it is too bad that they are so judgemental of some one who they don't even know, and how you think it is a privilege to know this man.
it's a really long story so i'll spare you the details... anywho, my dad's going through some legal stuff... it's been dragged on for 4 years now... the thing is that when i was little all my friends turned on me because of it... so now i have tons of trust issues and stuff like that... is there anyway to get over trust issues. and also my dad's sentencing hearing is soon, should i go? my sister isn't... and i don't know if i should miss school...
I, personally would go, if it was my dad, but I don't know what the sentencing is about, so I can't just tell you if you should go or not. Do what you feel is the right thing to do. Don't base your decision off of your sister's. Choose for yourself what you think is best.
As for the friends that turned on you- they obviously weren't REALLY your friends. Otherwise, they would have been supportive to you, rather than judging you by what is going on with some one else.
As for your trust issues, that is hard to get over. I can't tell you a sure fire way to just be trusting again. Do realize that trust is something that is earned, not something that is given. A friend needs to earn your trust.

From what I understand, they do work some what. However, if you stop taking them, they shrink back to your normal size. They cause swelling, basically. Glad to hear you plan to talk to your doctor first. Listen to what they say about it and heed their advice.

We are all scard of my dada because as much as i love him when he yells (which is rarley) its really scary. So when hes home we nevr go in his room and always foolow his rules bc we are scard. So to as my mom, She is really scard of him i feeel and there marrige is getting wrose by the second. I can never have friends over bc my dad embarreses me by coming home on the sabbath. Now my dad hardley gives my mom money and my mom has to use her own money (doesnt a marrige mean JOINT effert, join the money?!!?)So now my mom has to fire our housekeeper and we are all going to haev to clean dishes,laudery etc (and we are all SPOLIED brats!!!) But thats not the main problem, i dont knw what to do. My mom speaks to ehr friends and faimly about it but the problem is yet to be solved. I do crys ometimes and thinking of them getting divroced makes me cry ieven harder. Just i wish things cud be easier and lighter,

Most importantly, you have to realize that your parent's marital problems have NOTHING to do with you. They are not your fault. You are not causing your dad to be this way. Don't ever blame yourself. Don't ever let your siblings blame themselves. You are just stuck in the middle. I'm sorry for your position.
The only people who can resolve this is your mom and dad. There really isn't anything you can do to solve the problems they are having. It is between your mom and dad.

The only thing I can think for you to do is try to make life easier for your mom. Put in an extra effort to pick up the chores your housekeeper did so she doesn't have to. Ask her if there is anything you can do to help out. Obviously she is under a lot of stress, and I'm sure she would greatly appreciate your volunteered help. It would make less for her to worry about.
Also, if you can, talk to your parents. Your dad may be hard to talk to, but you should express your feelings to at least your mom. It would be better if you could talk to both.

Don't drink so much Kool-aid. It's not really very good for you.
Also, don't live on just those food items alone. Incorporate a healthy balanced diet from the 4 food groups with a healthy exercise regimen.

I like Windows Live Messenger on MSN, but I don't much care for the search engine. Google searches everything for what you are looking for, where as MSN doesn't seem to, in my opinion. Sort of like they only search for certain websites.

Anyway I'm 14/f... I used to shave my stomach (near belly button) because the hairs around there i thought everybody noticed them and stuff. Well I did't know that if you shave em they come back darker and some times more of them.... So is there away to get it back to normal?!?!?!?!

Try using Nair, but don't use it near your genitals. After time, the hair usually grows back finer and lighter in color.

My schools NEVER have dances.. it's like all the other towns do but mine doesn't. Oh yeah i forgot, once in 6th grade we had a poor excuse for a fun thing to do called "ACIVITY NIGHT" where a horrible dj played music for like a half an hour in our cafeteria and there was no deceration or anything. Also there was sports so there was like no guys there, lol. Is there anyway I can get my middle school to hold a dance, without some side thing that will scream "OMG THIS ISNT A DANCE ITS AN ACTIVITY NIGHT!!!"
Make a petition. Have all the students interested in having a school dance sign it, then show it to your principal. If that doesn't work, take it to the school board. Some one is bound to listen to what the students want.

This guy sounds like a real jerk. If he is willing to cheat on his current girlfriend, he is willing to cheat on you. He doubtfully cheated on her out of love for you. If that were the case, he would have broken up with her.
