I liked a guy && I'm pretty sure he likes me..but we NEVER have anything to talk about on the phone, any ideas?
Since its summer, talk about what you've done so far. Talk about music, what kind of bands you guys like. Do you guys go to shows? Talk about what shows you've gone to. Talk about funny stuff thats happened to you in the past or something funny/crazy you've experienced. Has he lived there all his life? Talk about where he's lived before, if not. so i go to this camp next week for a whole week. and at the end of it the have this big banquet dinner thing. the problem is i dont get asked by anyone to it. my friend is kind of a "slut" and puts herself out to everyguy she sees. and i dont. people tell me how pretty i am yet NO ONE asks me. this year i want to go with some one. im really friendly. what should i do to get a guy to ask me?
Hmm. Why don't you try asking a guy yourself? Or if you have any guy friends, ask them if they wanna go with you.
idk what to do...i was "together" with this guy.(im 13/f-hes 14/m) hes a grade older than me but we got to know eachother this year and started going "together" this march i think. well hes really really really busy w/ sports and we used to talk atleast like 3 hours everyday. now hes going to hs and hes been acting like a jerk lately. he hasnt talked to me in a long time, and he was talking to my friend and said that its not gonna work out, but he wont talk to me so hes leaving it up for me to figure it out even though i know already. what should i do, cus im having a hard time moving on...thanks.

If I were you, I would just move on and foreget about it. There are PLENTY of other guys out there that would not do something like that, and thats the kind of guy you would want, correct? Don't waste your time on this guy who plans to just leave you out in the cold. There are many guys out there who, I'm sure, would love to go out with you, or even talk to you... foreget about this guy and move on.

well, my cousin was just diagnosed with cancer, and he is 16. my mom said he will only live til his 20's and im not taking it very well. =\ anyone have any ideas on how i can take it better?? please !!!
Aw! I'm sorry that you have to go through this. I've never lost anyone like that before. But my advice would be, just spend as much time as you can with him now. I know that knowing it makes it harder for you & knowing that he'll pass on at an early age... but I think knowing it is better than just all of a sudden, it happening. Thats when you regret things & feel worse. But like I said, spend lots of time with him. I hope everything turns out ok.

Is soda good for you? I'm kind of addicted to it...Do you think I should stop?
Yes, soda is bad for you. Whether its regular, low calorie, diet, caffeine free--its bad for you. Its pure junk as a matter in fact. Yes, if you think you're addicted to it, then I would cut it down. If completely stopping is too much for you, maybe do it slowly. Cut down to 1 can a day or something. If its by the smal bottles (not the 2 liter), drink half a bottle a day, or 1 bottle through out the day (some for lunch, some for dinner, etc.). And start drinking more water which is good for you. ok there is this older boy that likes me and he told me. I like him to, a lot. the only problem is he is going into 9th grade and im going into 7th. do you think that is too much of an age difference? I mean if we both like each other why should age matter? My mom doesn't think its a good idea for me to date him. I think its good because he is much more mature then boys in my grade and he knows how to treat a girl right. what should i do? how can i go out with him without my mom knowing?

First off, you shouldn't go behind your mom's back and date him. It'll make things worse, and what will happen if you get caught? I'm sure you'll have some consequences that you wouldn't want to deal with. If your mom hasn't seen or met him, maybe bring him over one day to hang out while she's there so she can see how he is (you can invite him over for dinner, or even just to hang out, w/e). And I wouldn't say theres a huge age difference. If there were anymore years in between, then yea. But your age and his age isn't that bad. I hope things turn out well.

Ask her, exactly why she thinks its a big mistake. Also, take a look at your guy and find out why you really like him. Tell your friend about the qualities that he has, that makes you attracted to him. And its hard to tell, whether she'll eventually like him, or whether she'll ditch you because I don't know her... but if she does give you the whole "if you choose him, i won't be friends with you anymore" bit... you have to realize whats more important, your boyfriend or your best friend. Hopefully it doesn't come down to that, but if it does, I hope you make a good decision because of good reasons.

First, get a music code. I don't know the code off-hand, but I believe they have it at http://www.funky-chickens.com. Then, go to a music place. I usually get my codes from http://www.cdzinc.com. When it has that 'play' link next to the song title, right click it and highlight that code. Then take that, and the music code to your myspace and put it under something like "heros" or whatever. Stick that music code where it says URL HERE.

I actually use http://www.snapandshare.com. If you want to see a sample picture site from there, go to my advice column, and at the top I have a link to my photo album. According to the site, snapandshare lets you have an unlimited amount of pictures on it. Hope this helps!!

Why don't you make an icon site yourself? Like on xanga, etc. That way it can be just your icons, maybe display your favorites that others have made, if you're up to it, you can take requests, etc. Good luck!

how much does text message cost for verizon?
I have Verizon, and I believe I pay 5 dollars for unlimited text. But thats only to other people who have verizon. With that plan, I believe you also get 50 sending/receiving text to people outside of Verizon. Hope this helps!

Well my brother is 18 just turned recently and he has this friend he is also 18 or 17 not sure yet.Well he is so nice and really understanding. I can talk to him just about anything.He is like one of my brothers bestfriend and he is so cool. I like him very much i'm about to turn 15 I don't know if i should stay quiet about it and keep it as a crush or let him know.Or how can i get tips if he likes me or not. plz help thanks.
Personally, I think theres a little bit too much of an age difference--not TOO much though, its not like a 20 year age difference. But its wierd because you're still 14-15 and he's 17-18. He'll soon be graduating (if he hasn't already) and he'll be moving on and going to college (maybe? maybe not, idk), and you still have either 2 or 3 years of high school left. But if this doesn't matter at all to you, then you should see if he likes you back. If you and your brother are cool, and you feel comfortable, you can tell him and see if he's ever been interested in you or not. Good luck!

I usually record a few seconds of a song and then say like "Its my phone, leave a message!". Lol, you know whats a good one? Okay, you record loud music and you saying "Hello? HELLO?! HANG ON LET ME TURN THE RADIO DOWN!" then turn it down and say "Leave a message". Lol, it'll make them think you're on the line, but its actually your voicemail. Hope I helped!

alright .. well abt 2 months ago my ex boyfriend of 8 months .. started to talk to me again after we'd been broken up for 4 months ( this is while i had a new bf ) .. i had always thought of getting back together w/ my ex... but i figured he'd never even consider that .. but he'd flirt on the internet .. and call and we'd talk for hours.. eventually i broke up w/ the guy i was going out w/ at the time my ex was doing all this bc it was wrong to do that .. i think i just thought that i liked the guy bc i was lonely and missed my ex.. me and my ex eventually started to hang out a few times .. and we did some stuff .. most of the few times we hung out, it w/ my best friend and her boyfriend. my best friend would always say " are you guys going out yet ? " and he'd just laugh and shit ..after awhile he just stopped calling me .. and i felt totally used ..i wanted to go back out w/ him so bad and i missed him more than ne thing.=( i just got back from florida and i didnt tlk to him the whole time i was there and he has just started to talk to me and call me .. and when he calls ill answer and he'll hang up its really f*ed up ... im thinking maybe he doesnt want ppl to know he wants to be w/ me .. or he just wants to get w/ me to get some .. i feel totally used.. and shitty... what should i do? he's already screwed me over and hurt me 3 times ..
If I was in your situation, I would move on. Yea, I'm sure he has some good qualities, but then his bad ones are totally hurting you, and he's "screwed you over" and he's "hurt you 3 times". Look, there are PLENTY of guys out there, and I'M POSITIVE theres a good one out there who'll treat you right, they won't be afraid to tell their friends that they're with you, and he'll respect you and won't just "use you". Well... I have this thing tomorrow night and I am getting my hair done. Its pretty formal... and I have a really pretty dress. The problem is... I have no idea how to do my hair! I've looked everywhere to find some hairstyle that would look cute... but evertyhing looks so weird. I have long hair and I know I want it in curls and I don't want all my hair up. If anyone can help me that would be awesome! :-)

I like my school and the people in it and stuff, but im always, like depressed because my Friends who are the people who I hang out with the most dont seem to likke me anymore. I was wondering if I should go to a private school for freshman year next year. I mean everyone else will be new, too its just im afraid to start over again. And afraid ill miss something in my towns' highschool - i know ill miss my friends but they were like, "Oh," they werent sad at ALL..they laughed at me. I dont know what to do, should i go to a new high school ( a private one bc i cant move) ??? or just stay where i am and be pretty sad. People say things are better with friends in high school, is that true. I want your H0NEST T0 G0D Opinion.
Does your school only go up to 8th grade, and the majority of the kids all move up to the same public high school for grades 9 through 12? If so, I think it would be good to just go there, if thats what you originally planned on doing. Most of the time, you end up meeting new people in high school and you'll lose touch with some of your old friends from middle school. That happened to me. In my district, we have 3 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 high school (and one continuation school). After elementary school, you either go to one middle school or the other. You end up making new friends from other elementary schools. Then when High school comes along, you'll see other people from the other middle school, whom you never met before (because they also went to a different elementary school), and then people whom you're reunited with, from your old elementary school, and then theres the kids you've known since elementary school, because you've gone to the same school as them all your life. If this is in any way how your district works, maybe you can go to the high school you were originally planning on going to... most likely there will be a lot of new faces and new people who will have the same interests as you, and you'll make new friends in different classes, etc. Plus you still have some familiar faces around you, so its not like you're totally starting over... you're just moving on, which a lot of times is good. I've done that a lot--I wasn't happy with the people I hung out with, so I met new people and so on. I finally found a good group of kids who like me for me, and who have the same interests as me. Ok, so online when i'm talking to the guy i like, we get along really well and talk about aNyThInG, but in school we both like avoid eachother's eye contact and we only say "hi" once and a while in the halls. Any sudjestions?
Next time you're online, bring up the fact that you guys never talk at school. Just say, "Yea, we should hang out at school tomorrow, it'll be fun." Think of some things you guys can talk about, just incase its a fest of awkward silences. Good luck!
