ok there is this older boy that likes me and he told me. I like him to, a lot. the only problem is he is going into 9th grade and im going into 7th. do you think that is too much of an age difference? I mean if we both like each other why should age matter? My mom doesn't think its a good idea for me to date him. I think its good because he is much more mature then boys in my grade and he knows how to treat a girl right. what should i do? how can i go out with him without my mom knowing?

well girls usually date older guys because they ARE mature! yur mom doesnt think its a good idea thou so dont go behind her back. its really not that much of an age difference! i mean i had a crush on a guy in 9th grade nd he did on me, but we didnt go out im like over it.

nah go for it!!! the reason girls date older guys is the maturity thing but i dont think you should lie to ur mom maybe you could try showing her that deep down hes a really good guy so what your 12 and hes 14 when your 14 hell be 16 its no big deal i actually recomend dating older guys if yall truly like each other your mom wont be able to stand in the way try compromising with her like group dates. hope i helped!

i think it is perfectly fine for you to date him but be carefull about whether or not he cheats on you but only you know if he will or not as for getting it past your mom try telling her that he is just a friend or if you have a brother try to get them to be friends so you can hang out more or you could just tell her to let you make you own choices but that usually don't work.

well i think if you really like him than age doesnt matter i mean its not like hes 80 lol and while your going out with him make sure you never write his name on your hand like i love jake and also make sure while yull are going out not to tell every one you know cuz then word will get out and maybe even to your mom well hope i helped and if you have ne more quistions than just drop em in my inbox

First off, you shouldn't go behind your mom's back and date him. It'll make things worse, and what will happen if you get caught? I'm sure you'll have some consequences that you wouldn't want to deal with. If your mom hasn't seen or met him, maybe bring him over one day to hang out while she's there so she can see how he is (you can invite him over for dinner, or even just to hang out, w/e). And I wouldn't say theres a huge age difference. If there were anymore years in between, then yea. But your age and his age isn't that bad. I hope things turn out well.

its acually really easy. if you were to want to go to the movies just say that your going with one of your friends or you can lie about his age and tell him that you lied just in case your mom and him for some reason talk so he can lie also.
