Most community colleges have really in depth test systems to match you with your perfect job on many different levels. Try calling your local community college and asking if they have any sort of skills assesment, or some other quiz/test that you can take to help find perfect employment.
I took one, and it took about an hour, testing dexterity, personlity, and perferences. They matched me with law professions (lawyer, paralegal, etc.). I went with it, and I love it, so I guess it really worked.

Hi, I've been trying to convince my mom to get a trampoline..FOREVER. She's finally considering it....but we need some help.

I've seen trampolines at Walmart and Sams Club. The one my friend bought they had to set up themselves, and it took the afternoon.
And yes, I've had bad experiences with trampolines. My friend and I were doing flips, my foot slipped, and I landed on the back of my neck. I can barely bend my neck backwards without pain (I can't look up), and I fell 12 years ago. Also, my sister landed wrong, and her knee bent the wrong way, tearing some ligaments. She has some minor knee problems still.

I have horrible handwriting.It is realy hard to read it.Once I got sent to the principal just because of my handwriting.My teacher said I should go to a doctor.I went for a dance class and you had to bend your thumb and keep your other fingers flat.I ended up bending all my fingers.I was the only one who could not do that.My mother will not take me to a doctor,she says we'll get laughed out of his clinic.Some times even I can't read my hand writing.I am 13/f.

You may have issues with the signals traveling from your brain to your hand. My sister has the same problem. She is really inept at doing anything with her hands.
Stop by a store like Staples, Walmart, or Office Depot and see if you can find an elemantary penmanship book to practice with.
A doctor might not be a bad idea. My sister saw a doctor, but he just gave her coordination building activities (she's in her 20's). Try some things like Pick-up Sticks, or playing an instrument. However, it might be something that you need physical therapy for.

i have a really bad blister on my foot/back ankle from my work shoes and i dont have money to get new ones, is there something i can put on my ankle to make the blister better, i have a bandaid on it but it still hurts. also, the place it gave me a blisterright above my heel were the top, back of the shoe usually rubs. is there anything i can put there to keep from getting the blisters because i have to wear short socks and i walk all day so a lot of time they fall or i just dont have time to make sure my sock is over the area....is there anything i can do? I know is a weird question but i walk all day at work and these are very bad blisters!!

I don't know what to do to keep you from getting blisters, but I can tell you how to take care of them when you get one.
This is from my mom's medical dictionary. Sterilize a sewing needle (heat or rubbing alcohol). Poke a tiny hole in one side of the blister, but not the top. Soak it in warm water, in a tub, or by covering it with a wet cloth/cotton ball, to get everything out. Then cover it with a bandage to keep it from getting rubbed wrong again.

I am trying to get a fashion style. I like like long flowing skirts and jean jackets but I also like sweatbands and spikes and stuff like that. I'm 16 F and I've never had a boyfriend. I know some of you might say, "Don't worry! When the time comes, it comes.." The problem is that I hang out with a bunch of preps..and all my friends have already had boyfriends..:-( I'm the only one out of that group that's never had a close relationship with guys! Do whatever you can to build up some confidence. Maybe try a different clothing style, hairstlye, or a different way of doing your makeup. Or, stay exactly as you are, if that's how you're most confident.
Also, get involved in some things. Volunteer, play a sport, pick up a hobby, get a job. When you start going out and doing things, you'll find more and more opportunities to talk with guys, and you'll have something in common with them! Keep up on current events as well. The idea is that if you get an opportunity to talk to a guy that might be intersted, you'll have something to say.
See if your friends can introcude you to someone, like a blind date. I don't recommend internet dating sites until your 18.
I also have trouble starting conversations with guys. Every guy I ever dated, I was either hooked up by a friend, or I met online. I met my husband through a friend.

Okay, I'm not totally sure what I want to do when I get out of high school. I have interests in many different things and its hard to pick one career. Lately I've been interested in serving time in the Navy and studying journalism/film. I'll probably serve time for about 4 years and then when I get out, go into that field and possibly get a job at a movie studio. But I also have an interest in acting. I've been told I'm really good, and I know a lot about it (I've been to many studios, watched MANY things be filmed and I've been an extra in a few things). Do you think that I would make it (well, you've never seen me act or whatever, but with a good background and a back up career do you think I could make it?). I don't believe that, in order to make it into show biz, you have to study theatre. Maybe take a few classes (which I've done and plan on taking more in the future) here and there. I know I won't be a star and be known over night, I enjoy commercial acting (aka in front of cameras) rather than theatre acting. But do you think I would be respected after serving 4 years in the Navy (when I get out, I'll only be 21-22)? I'm just wondering if this plan sounds stable or does it sound too wacky (I know anything is possible, etc.). Would you be interested in a good, talented actress (who'll be fit, btw) who served in the Navy? Please tell me what you think of this career plan. I'm 16/f
Actually, it's a good plan for quite a few years. You could use the money you got from being in the navy to support your fledgling acting career for a few years. This would give you time to see if you can make it as an actress without having to live in a car or dumpster, like some young actors.

Okay well, I'm going into 8th grade next year and I still haven't had a boyfriend! No guy even notices me! I'm not a dork, and people say it's just because I'm tall. Try not to worry about it to much. When your an older teenager (or young adult), and the guys are more mature, some guy will REALLY appreciate being able to be your first kiss. Worry less about not dating and kissing, and more about finding a guy you can truly love to give these things to.
Footnote: I did not date until I was 16, and I actually wish that I had waited longer. I missed out on friends, hanging out, etc. I wish I'd spent being 16 and 17 being more happy and care free, and worrying less about my boyfriend.

Okay so... I'm trying to watch a movie. I insert the tape into the VCR, make sure power is ON.. and press PLAY. According to the VCR.. the tape is playing. HOWEVER, I don't see the movie on ANY channel. Not Ch. 1, not Ch. 2, not Ch. 3, not Ch. Video, not Ch. "FRNT", and there isn't a Ch. 4. AHH!! WHY!? What is wrong? Any ideas? When the VCR is powered ON.. ALLLLLL of the channels have a black screen and say "Unusable Signal". Then once I turn the VCR OFF.. that message and goes away and it is back to normal. I don't have Satellite, so I don't understand the "Unusuable Signal" part. Can anyone help me, or at least point me in the right direction?
Don't worry yet about where cords go, just make sure your cords are tight, and you don't see any diconected cords hanging loose.
VCR set ups can vary, so I'll give you some basics. Other than the power cord, there need to be at least two other cords, audio and video. If those are both plugged into the VCR, connecting it the TV, then I'm not sure what.

I don't think so. You might damage your ovaries if you get an infection because the thing wasn't very clean. You can damage the interior of your vagina, as well as your cervix. Once again, you might damage your uterus from infection.

Basically, here's the deal. Long and complicated, unfortunately -- and if it matters, I'm 18 and F.
* My two best friends, who I'll call A and B, have been fighting for years. After some stuff went on with B's mom, who A's always hated, B decided she had enough and broke off the friendship.
* I've told them both that, even if they stopped being friends, I was going to stay friends with both of them. A, however, will not have any of it. Every time we talk, she has to tell me that B will end up stabbing me in the back and isn't my real friend (not to mention she hates all of our mutual friends). B, for the record, doesn't understand why I'm still friends with A, but is okay with it.
* This has made my friendships with both of them pretty crappy. I've stopped hanging out with B so much just to shut A up, even though B and I are really close. This isn't enough for A, she wants me to hate B as much as she does, and it's about to drive me nuts.
* They can't make up, because A still wants to be friends with B (god knows why if she hates her so much) -- either that or she wants B to admit she's ruined A's life (which isn't true, IMHO). B doesn't want to be friends, and she doesn't want to apologize for everything A's accusing her of (some of it's true, most of it isn't).
* A takes all of this out on me and doesn't seem to care how I feel about it. This really pisses me off, and I've told her and tried to explain myself a zillion times, but it never seems to work.
So, I'm at my wit's end, and I have no idea what to do about any of this anymore. Anyone got an idea?
It sounds a little bit like B is being a better friend to you. I know that they are both your friends, but you might have to stick with just one. If they cannot or will not reconcile, you might have to give A an ultimatum. Something like, "Either you need to stop giving me such a hard time about hanging out with B, or I can't be your friend anymore." It's sad, and it's hard, but the only options I see are living with things the way they are, hoping for them to reconcile, waiting for things to cool off so A is less angry about it, or letting a friend go.

Okay, I'm just a bit curious. Everybody thinks cutting is so freakishly horrible and everything. Well in all honesty, I don't see the harm in it unless you're making cuts deep enough for stitches or something. Otherwise, you may have a mark or a scar - but no real damage done..? When I get extremely upset - it usually helps calm me down, in a BIG way. What is all the hype about..?
Cutting, in itself, is not terribly bad (except for infection and scaring risks). It is the psychological aspect that makes it bad. It is a way to avoid learning to handle stress, depression, anger, etc. Being able to handle your own emotions without turning to blades is a part of life. In a way, it's similar to people who get steaming drunk when things go wrong at work.
Also, it hurts your loved ones. No one wants to believe that everyday life is hurting you so badly that you need to use such an outlet.

ok this probally going to sound really gross or whatever but..when i shave my arm pits theres still like black dots...and my arm pits usally get really red...what should i do to get rid of the black dots and redness
Shave your armpits in the shower. Make sure your shower is comfortably warm, and shave about 3 minutes after you've been in the shower. This will soften the hair, and keep your pores wider open, leaving less of the hair behind. Also, ise a cream, lathery soap, or gel, and shave with a light touch and a fresh, sharp razor.
