I am twenty-one, soon to be twenty-two, and currently work in a loan servicing department. I truly enjoy my job, as well as college, in which I am reaching my last year to receive my degree. I am an outgoing person whom loves to have fun, be with my best friends and family, go shopping and most importantly, helping others.
Helping others has always been my passionate, from a young age I knew that I wanted to help other people and be a great influence in making someone's life turn for the better. I'm not sure if that's a healthy weight or not, but you can go to www.seventeen.com and click on health. Then, BMI and all you have to do is put in your height and weight, and it will tell you if your weight is healthy.

hi, well 14 and i have to much to do if you get me. i have soo much homework because im doing my GCSE's now and even my teachers are saying that The UK is one of the countries that has the most coursework to do, and they then say that they understand the pressure. i mean if they understand why give us so much. i have to look after my pet because no-one else does, i practice 2 instruments, 1 of which i have lessons for. on top of all that i need a darn social life aswell, and i just dont have time to fit ALL of it in. i usually find my self doing huge essays the day before they are in, and my teachers keep telling us how these two years are the most important ever of your compulsory education! any advice? thanks (link)

Hi! I'm fourteen too. I can't say that I do the exact same things, but I do understand the overwhelming amount of things to do. I think you're stressed, and I think it might be better for you if you were on a schedule. I know you have to do you schoolwork (obviously), and if it is your pet, then you do have to take care of it.
But if you don't really want to practice two instuments, quit them. I know it's probably not that easy, or maybe not even a choice. But I think you need to either cut some things out, if you can, or try to make a schedule for yourself. That gives you time to fit in some other things that you want to do. Good Luck!

No, of course not! Some girls don't get their first kiss until they're sixteen or older. There's nothing wrong with it at all, don't worry about it. You first kiss will come, and I'm sure it will be fine. I think it's something good to look forward to, just don't rush it.

I say get to know him, become friends first. Go up and talk to him, find any reason. Like, you need help with homework or a school project. Anything that has to do with helping you, would be great. Guys love it when they help girls, it makes them feel good.
You could ask him to the dance, but you could do it in a way whether or not he says yes or no, you don't look bad. Go up to him, and ask him if he has a date for the dance, if he says no, go for it! If he says yes, play it casual and say something like, I'm not sure who I want to go with... Just play it smooth, and you'll be good. Good Luck!

i'm skiiny but not annerexcic...i promise...i eat alot and i never get full and i can't help it...i can eat a meal be full for 10 seconds then get hunry again..well..not hungry but not full...i don't know why..and while eating i don't gain much weight eitheer...i want gqain arm waeight...if you look at me i'm good skinny..like healthy skinny...but my arms are long and look annerexic...

I don't think you're anorexic. I think you're just naturally skinny, a lot of people are. Including me, I'm healthy and skinny both. I only weigh about six more pounds than you do, and I'm the same age.
I wouldn't worry about it, as long as you're healthy, that's all that matters. Honestly, I don't know how to gain just arm weight, but I think they have something on www.seventeen.com in health, on gaining weight.

You can go to the store that you want to model at, and ask them if they need models, if you could be one of their models, etc.
Also, in a lot of stores websites, they have a place where it tells you all about modeling with their store. Requirements, if they're looking for new models, open calls, etc.

k i have been wearin flip flops bout 3 monthes now and i have these tan lines on my feet
i dont want my feet to get darker i want them to change back to the regular color

The only thing you can do is stop wearing flip-flops, and wear socks and tennis shoes. At least, until you get your color back, but it will happen again if you wear flip-flops a lot in the sun, there's no way of avoiding that.

Well, I think you might be getting ahead of yourself. Especially with the love part, I mean, I would talk to him about it and ask him why he doesn't do anything, but kiss you. Because if that's really all he does, it's more like a fling than a relationship.
Other than that, I don't think there's much else you can do. If you're looking for a serious relationship, which it sounds that way to me, I think you both aren't on the same page. I think if you were, then you you wouldn't be having this problem. Good Luck!

I am typically stereotyped as a "good girl."..I don't smoke/drink or do anything "bad" But the strange thing is, I tend to fall for guys that are BAD...and ok i would NEVER smoke in the first place..but why is it ok if a guy i like smokes? I think that's exactly the reason why- because he's so different. He's the complete opposite of you, and does things that you wouldn't dare do. So I think that attracts you to him.

I have been dating my boyfriend for 1 year and 6 months now and i thought i was happy. but things are starting to get hard for us and we can hardly see eachother. he dropped out of school so im there without him. this year i meet this guy who likes me. Me and him are close friends now and i think im starting to have feelings for him. I dont want to hurt my Boyfriend in any way but i know this isnt fare to him for me to be feeling something for someone else. I still love my boyfriend very much! Well, you have to choose between them. Which one is more important to you? Your boyfriend who you've been with for a year and 6 months, or the other guy?
Unfortuantly, if you decide on the other guy. There's no way of getting out of hurting him. But I also think you shouldn't stay with him, just so you won't hurt him. You have to be happy too, not just him.

I met this guy at school, and he started starring at me in a strange way. I kept asking questions what's wrong with him. He never stopped and he would smile at me all the time, we never knew each other or not introduced. One day he smiled at me when i was near his locker, i looked at him in a strange way and he kept on smiling at me. Then after i did the look thing, he started to ignore me, and like he does not me. Then one day i passed by my locker late after school from an extracurricula activity, then i saw him with a girl in her locker. When i looked at him he smiled.
After that, one night i smiled at him, he looked at me strangely. Then when school was about to be over he would walk near my locker and smile at me for one week. I would look down. Then one day without me knowing i looked in the hallway of 1000's of kids, i saw him smiling at me, then i smiled back. I never saw him ever! He was a sophmore i was a senior. I am 17. I don't know how old he is. I need some advive, do you think he likes me/love me/playing games? If so, why? (link)

I don't know, it's kind of confusing. Smiling just isn't enough, to tell if he likes you or not. It does sound like he could easily be playing a smiling game.
The only way to really know what's going on, is to ask him. I know- easier said than done, but it is the only way to know if he really does like you. Find out personally.

That's a toughie! Well, there's no two ways around it; it's either your friend or the guy. If you pursue the guy, your friend is going to be mad, say you stole her boyfriend, and you don't care about her because you did that to her. If you choose the guy, then it's probably going to be extremely hard for you not to pursue him, if you like him that much and know that he likes you.
I can't help but, think that your friend is being a little too niave. If she knows that he likes you, then I don't think she should let it go. She should talk to him about it, even though he'll probably just deny it, then take it from there. If I found out my boyfriend, liked one of my friends. I would probably break up with him, but that's just me.

Hi! I'm fourteen too. I don't think that's possible, I mean, unless that person is already planning on calling you. Without you saying something about it, then you would have to ask that person to call you.
You can do that casually, if this is someone you like. You could find a good reason for the person to call you (homework help, etc.) and give him (assuming this is a guy, if it isn't, sorry!) your number to him, then you can talk to him about other stuff too.

15/f. My friend and I both dated this guy. She dated him for like a few weeks or something and I dated him for about 3 months. He didn't talk to me that much after the first month, and I heard rumors about him cheating, so I broke up with him. This year he transferred to a different school about a month before we started to date, but I had known him from middle school. Anyways, I saw him recently at a football game, and when I started to talk to him I realized I still have feelings for him. I made sure my friend was over him when we went out, and she told me she doesn't like him at all anymore. At the game, she kept ditching me to go hangout with him and she told me she was going to get food. I saw her with him and she totally lied to me. I don't have claim over him and she's free to do what she wants, but she lied to me and went behind my back. I told her how I felt, and I guess were alright now, but I'm still a little upset. I don't know if I can trust her. My other friend told me that my ex had been looking for me, and I think we both are kind of ready to start things up again. But how do I know that my friend isn't going to try to mess things up? And how do I believe her after what she did to me? Obviously talking to her didn't work, because she can't seem to be honest about everything.

That's a tough situation. I think it's almost like choosing between your friend, and the guy. Which one is more important to you?
I don't think she should have done that to you. She obviously, still likes him and since she lied to you over that, I don't think she's going to give up on him, even for you. I would talk to her again, and tell her you don't appreciate her lying to you, and see what she says.
But I wouldn't completely leave the guy off the hook, either. Because he hung out with her, just the same as she hung out with him. I don't know if he's really worth a second chance. I think it just depends on how you feel, and follow your heart, it will tell you what to do.

I wouldn't call it wrong to do that, I think you just don't want to start liking a guy, and then find out he doesn't like you back, and get heartbroken. But I do think it's good to make the first move sometimes, and give some guys a chance. Sadly, everyone does get heartbroken, whether they like a guy and he doesn't like her back, or even when you're with a guy and you break up, ect.
I think it's just a risk you take, but think about it. If you don't take the risk, you could be missing out a lot. He could even be the love of your life (cheesy, I know, but it could be true!). You wouldn't know, unless you took that risk.

So i really like this boy i met at my new highschool this year, but i dont know if he likes me back. we talk often, since hes in four of my six classes, and lately we've been walking kind of with eachother to our next class. We've been a bit friendlier to eachother lately, and a little while ago i saw him loko at me twice during spanish, but when i looked back he turned away like nothing was wrong. I try to show him i like him, like, i look at him sometimes and allow eye contact before looking away...but do you think he likes me too? Or should i keep working on it?

I'm almost positive that he likes you! I think he's nervous, he's too shy to let you know he likes you. The eye contact is very good, that's almost the best thing you can do to tell a guy you like him. Just by the way you look at a guy, can tell him you like him, visa-versa.
I would keep working on it, and try just subtle flirting (eye contact, laugh at little things he says, touch his arm while you're talking to him, etc.). Ask him to go somewhere and hangout, like the movies.
