I'm a mother of 2 boys who are 13 months apart. Talk about a handful. I'm a wife to the best husband I could have ever dreamed of.
I'm one of the very blessed.

I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.

Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.

Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.

Hi Everyone! I'm in a pageant and we have to raise money, what can I do to raise money?

"The aim of argument should not be victory but progress" means???

Not real sure, but I will give you my opinion on what it means.

I would say that you shouldn't have an argument with the idea of winning the argument (victory). That is a lose-lose situation anyhow. If you are arguing, then those involved have different points of view, and one will unlikely change the mind of the other. And to try to do that, or to try to "win" the argument will only end up with both parties angry, and screaming at each other. The only thing you learn is that you are mad at the other guy, even though you doubtfully heard what he had to say because he doesn't agree with you.

Progress would be to have a civilized argument, such as a debate. Progress is standing by your own point of view, but realizing the other person's is valid as well, and learning from their side of it. Everyone walks away happy and they have likely learned something new, weather what they learned is something they agree with or not.

At least that is what I think when I read that statement.

The District of Columbia is not a state. Reason being, that if the country's capitol was considered to be in Virginia, then it would be seen that Virginia was a more powerful state than the remaining 49.

I am in a odd relationship. the two of us (im m/16) and she (f/17) mutually like eachother. she keeps telling me she wants to cuddle. usually i am busy or out at night, and she calls and says how she just wants to cuddle. Girls like to be touched, hugged, held, etc. If she is asking you to cuddle, then she is likely wanting those things.

If you have accepted an invitation to go out with any of them, you need to go with that person.
If you didn't tell either of your friends that you will hang out with them, then go with your boyfriend. You don't get to spend much time with him, so it is important that you do when you can.

You aren't leaving your friends for a guy unless you choose him over them all of the time. You can make plans with them when he isn't free to go out with you.

Realistically, all you can do is be sure she is educated about sex. Pregnancy & diseases are something she needs to be sure to understand.
Other than that, be thankful she is being safe with condoms.
You can give her advice, but you can't make her stop.

I have read questions on here written by 13 and 14 year olds asking for sex advice, so she is not alone in this behavior.

Like I said- be thankful she is smart enough to use condoms. That is the only protection she has against STDs.

My suggestion is that you be honest with both parties. How will you know if he likes you back if you don't say something, for starters. Keep in mind that you shouldn't be too hurt if he doesn't like you back- I mean, really. If he doesn't like you yet has sex with you, he isn't a guy worth your time or effort. Period.

Yah, your sister may not like it, but you can't hide it from her forever. She is your sister- you should feel that you can be honest with her no matter what you are being honest about. Yah, she will probably be hurt about it, but she will get over it. She is your sister, and she will be there when everyone else has moved on with their lives, including this guy.

My best friend is a guy, who is 16. I'm a girl who is 16. We are very good friends, but for some reason at least 2-3 times a week he'll do something that really upsets me. So... how was it you let it slide in the first place? Try to keep that frame of mind when you confront him about what bothers you. If he is your best friend, you should be able to share your feelings with one another. However, you are right in not wanting to get mad over small things.

Keep in mind that it is never a good idea to get angry over what isn't worth losing your temper about or arguing what isn't worth fighting about.

If he does something small that upsets you, keep in mind when and if you confront him that one should never sweat the small stuff in life- there is too much big stuff in the world for you to vent about.

What you are feeling is not love, but infatuation.

It happens to the best of us- there is no stopping your feelings. You just have to have patience enough to wait it out. It isn't as major of an issue as you think.

It may help if you realize that, 9 times out of 10, hot flirty guys tend to be assholes in the long run. Not all, but as a general rule...
Though it is cool to fall in love with a hot guy who likes to flirt with you, it is even better if he is a good guy with a great heart.

Well, if he lies to you then I would definitely dump him. Relationships require trust and honesty to thrive.

However, if you want to break up with him solely based on the fact that he has his tongue pierced and wants a tattoo, then I think that is a pretty superficial reason to break up with him.

i have this pain at the back of my head on the lower right side. its like right were my hairline stops. im 16. and its giving me the biggest headache. i took 2 aspirins today but it only relieved the pressure for like 2 hours. i dont think its a bruise because its more like a...piercing pain? i tried to massage it but the pain was so imbearable i almost passed out. i cant go see a doctor because im leaving for vacation tomorrow. what should i do? should i take ibuprofin and see if it helps?

If it is below your hair, try some cream to loosen tense or sore muscles. Something like Icy Hot, Theragesic, along those lines- the hot stuff is what you want. It may help your headache if it is cause from tension.

This may sound morbid, or something, but what happens in a heroine OD? What do you experience? Also, if you've got time to get to the hospital, what do they do to prevent death, ect? Do they do anything in the ambulance? I've heard of an injection.. but i'm not sure what happens.
Also, could you give me a scenerio where the doctors can't fight the effects of the OD, and the person dies? I'd just need help with this, because in my story, the person is supposed to die..

Yep, so two of my friends and I were discussing the book of revelations in the bible, and from other sources aswell, we found that the world is supposed to end in 2012, with reffernces of fire of a meteor or something?

Realistically, the Bible is a guide to live life by. Meaning, just because it says the world will end in a certain year, doesn't make that a fact.

I would suggest you grab a Bible and read the book of Revelations. Though, I find the "thou art" style of language a little hard to read, it is, in my opinion, one of the most interesting books in the Bible. Even if it is hard to read, it isn't hard to understand.

I don't know if mobile to mobile texting is free- I know with T-Mobile it is not.

However, yes, it does cost to receive messages. I know that your 300 are free, but for example: if you pay 5 cents per text message, it would be 5 cents per outgoing message and 5 cents per incoming message. The same principle applies for the free texts you are allowed on your plan.
