ive always considered dc to be more in maryland than virginia, but i guess thats becasue i live in md and i spend so mucch time in dc

Brandi_S answered Wednesday April 4 2007, 12:03 am: The District of Columbia is not a state. Reason being, that if the country's capitol was considered to be in Virginia, then it would be seen that Virginia was a more powerful state than the remaining 49.
