Is it true that green tea can help you lose weight?

Yes, real green tea can help you lose weight (it worked for me)- but actual brewed looseleaf tea, not the Arizona crap, which is full of sugar and unnecessary stuff and will make you gain weight.

my boyfriend wont let me near his phone. he gets paranoid if i ask to see it and watches my every move. he sleeps with it in his pocket or under his pillow. should i be worried?

To be honest, yes, you should. It doesn't necessarily mean he's cheating, but it probably does mean he's saying/doing something he wouldn't want you to see. Your best bet is to flat out ask him (in a non-accusatory way) why he's so secretive about his phone and see how he reacts.

There may be a possibility I'm pregnant, and I'm 15. I'm just curious about the abortion pill. Anyone know about it? Anyone ever had an experience with it?

You won't get an unbiased answer on this site, there are many people against abortion. Your best bet is to take a pregnancy test if you miss your period, and call your local Planned Parenthood to discuss your options.

I'm about to go shopping for some new makeup, and I was wondering if you could recommend the best brands of make up. Price is not an issue.

I need recommendations for:

-Mascara
-Liquid Eyeliner
-Nail Polish
-Blush
-Liquid Foundation
-Brushes
-Perfume

Any recommendations that you could give me regarding the brand and/or colors that would work for me would be fantastic.

Unless you have really bad skin or something, no need for liquid foundation- it just hides your natural skin and makes you look really fake. Try a more natural looking mineral makeup that will give you a natural glow, like Bare Minerals.

Mascara: Drugstores- Covergirl LashBlast. Mall- Bare Escentuals Flawless Definition. Make sure it's black so your eyes look defined.

Nail Polish- OPI is definitely the best. (If you're looking for cheap fun colors, Sinful Color, sold at Walgreens, is actually good quality).

Blush- Mineral blush is a must, it's really the only kind that looks natural and glowy, not chalky and fake. Again, Bare Escentuals is the best.

Liquid liner- L'oreal.

Brushes- MAC if you can afford it, Bare Escentuals and L'oreal are also good. You'll want a kabuki brush for foundation, large powder/bronzer brush, big blush brush, and several different eye brushes.


Perfume- my absolute favorite is Intimately Beckham, they sell it at drugstores. I always get compliments on it, especially from guys. Victoria's Secret Vanilla Lace or Sexy Little Things and Gap Dream are good, too.

My friend bought some Trojan brand condoms with me the other day and they had the word "ecstasy" on the box. I asked him if they were a good condom to use and he said it was the only ones he could use because of his size. I wasn't sure if that meant he was a small or big so I'm curious now and I don't want to embarrass him or look like a creep by asking him about how big his thing is. Maybe he was just making stuff up though?

Are ecstasy condoms bigger or smaller than normal, regular condoms?

i'm looking to go into cosmetology. i'd like to eventually get to the point where i was licenced to do hair, makeup, and nails. i'm wondering if i'd be able to learn ALL of that in one time of going to school, through out the whole time i'd be in beauty school. or would i have to go back for several years to get licenced in all of those?

It really depends on the school. Most of them have separate programs to get certified by the state in hair, nails, cosmetology (skincare and sometimes makeup), and makeup. Your best bet is to call a local school and find out.

okay, me and my boyfriend have been going out for nearly a year. I really do love him and everything and he wants to be with me forever. We plan to get a flat together after he finishes college and it sounds like such a great future.

You really shouldn't be in a relationship if you're feeling that way- it will destroy it. The best thing to do is to talk to him and take a break for a while so you can get over those feelings.

Neither of us has had a job before and since it's the summer, we've been constantly talking and hanging out and it's been great. I really love talking to him even if we're just texting...like, I don't even know what to do if I'm not talking to him...The thing is, he wants to get a summer job to make some money and stuff but I'm not sure...I mean it's only part time so we'll still get to hang out and stuff but...idk I guess I'm just really selfish and just want to talk to him all the time like we do right now >.< I want to be really supportive but how am I supposed to support something if I feel this way about it? :( Please help me be more supportive...maybe just tell me if your significant other getting a job affected the relationship too drastically? I don't see what advice anyone can give you- you really just have to deal with it. Almost all relationships have a point like this, where you want to see each other tons and are always talking, etc.- but no matter how good it is, if you see each other every day, you will get sick of each other and bored. So, really, it's better for your relationship if he gets a job.

Hey, just wondering when girls start to get their periods. I had just read a question about periods on here and stuff and then I started wondering, when? Is it when they hit puberty or when they hit their teen years? Puberty sounds more logical to me, but I don't know, I'm a guy and so I don't get periods. Anyway I'm 13(m).

It's whenever puberty starts- it's actually happened a few times in really young girls, like elementary school- basically whenever they start to 'develop'.

In my daughter's school there is a swimming unit in gym class and both boys and girls have the class together. Is this appropriate? Even though its just one piece suits allowed. I assumed they would be seperate. Daughter is in 7th grade by the way

Of course it's appropriate. It's not like at that age they haven't seen each other in swimsuits anyway- the beach, pool parties, etc. Especially if it's just one pieces, not a big deal.

How much do u think i would lose if i stoped eating for awhile, and drunk nouthing but water?

You would actually gain weight, as this would put your body into starvation mode, causing you to bloat and hold onto calories- so as soon as you started eating again, you'd get heavier.

The best way to lose weight is to carefully monitor what you're eating. Using a site like this, where you set a calorie goal and input everything you eat, is really, really helpful:

And, of course, you can't lose weight unless you burn more calories than you consume. So exercise is a must.

The past three nights, I have gotten sick. I all of a sudden get really nauseous and need to throw up. Im asking if I am pregnant because I know that a lot of women actually get 'morning sickness' at night (my mother did with me and my brother). I am on birth control, but last week when I had sex with my boyfriend I was also on antibiotics which I know lower the effectiveness of birth control. I was just wondering what everyone thinks the chances of my being pregnant are. Im supposed to get my period in the next four days. Thanks for the help!

Chances are, no one on here is a medical expert or can tell you whether or not you're pregnant. All you can do is wait for your period to come, and if it doesn't, take a pregnancy test. And next time, when you know something is gonna make your birth control less effective, use a back-up method.

During the summer, I watched a Lifetime movie that I really like.

It was about a woman who moved into her recently murders famous aunts home. She then soon desicoverd clues to her aunts murder. Along the way she makes friends with her neighbor across the street and I believe they end up dating at the end.
During this she spends her days fixing up her aunts home. While at night the murderer sneeks around her home and vandilizes things.

I could have sworn Brittney Murphy played the girl in this movie.
But I couldn't find anything of it in her bioghraphy.

Anyone know this movie?
