Alright, there's this cocky kid in my first 3 morning classes, and I was never really bothered by it until he started going out of his way to be rude. It really bugs me and he's not rude to anyone else at the school except for me! I've never even talked to him so I don't know why the heck he hates me. Once in math class, I got up out of my chair to work on the math worksheet with my friend, Marie. When I got back, I found his assignment planner book on my chair so I would sit on it and be laughed at so he could point out one more of my flaws. I knew it was his, but I asked the boy behind me if it was his anyway because the cocky kid, Austin just ignores me when I try to talk to him if something is his or not. He's asked me to borrow pencils and pens and I've always said yes - I'm a bit of a pushover. I just don't understand why he dislikes me! Judgmental much? I was walking over to the techer's desk to ask her if I could borrow some white-out and on my way over I asked him to push in his chair. He sighed in an annoyed way and pretended to ignore me. When I walked by his and his friend's desk to hand them the stapler, they said "Woot!" sarcastically and motioned for me to leave them alone. Any help? What should I do? Why do you think he dislikes me?

There's this one kid in my grade who does the same thing to me. I've never said two words to him and all the time he insults me and makes sarcastic jokes.
Personally, I think they only do this because they feel that it's "cool" and we just happened to be the people they picked to target. What I do is just make an even more sarcastic, clever remark back and it shuts him up. Just put him in his place and he'll be silent :).
Also, don't act like he's bothering you. Just roll your eyes like he said something extremely stupid.
There's really nothing to do about it, except wait. He'll stop after a while when he gets bored and sees you're not giving him the reactions he wants. Good luck :)
Alright, like with all the celeberties and stuff, they always walk on a red carpet. Does anybody know an easy way to make a red carpet, or a website where i could buy one, or a store? just a runner, but i want it to look semi-real

Well, I am getting braces next week..Ugh, I am so not excited but oh well, I am going to have to suck it up and just get it over with..But my question is I want to get colored ones so if any of yall have ever had braces, can you tell me what color do you think is the best...I have heard yellow makes your teeth look stained and clear isn't good either. I am thinking about hott pink. But I don't know...I have brown hair and blue/green eyes if that makes a difference haha. So, any suggestions would be wonderful. Haha. Thanks in advance.
This is just my opinion, but I wouldn't suggest hot pink/lime green/any really bright color. It just brings attention to the braces and I find that bright colors make me just stare at people's mouths while theyre talking.
I've had navy blue for a while and I really like it. It looks a little more mature and makes the braces look more natural.

Out of the Dust, by Karen Hesse, takes place during the Great Depression. It's not a great big novel, but its quantity, not quality that counts :). I haven't read it in a while, but I remember it being really touching and powerful. This family goes through so much and it really makes you think about how good your life is compared to these hardships.

Usually, I use www.answers.com because it's in an easy-to-read format. Infoplease.com is also pretty good for information. Sometimes if you use wikipedia, they have reference pages on the bottom that link to reliable sources for the topic you're looking for.

how come celebrities on tv (hannah montana, lizzie mcguire, etc.) aren't allowed to wear name brands such as abercrombie or hollister?
Basically, they don't want to give the brands free advertising when they could be paid for it.

i never babysat before but i really want to.
my brothers on a soccer team and some of the kids have little brothers and sister, but like i'm kindof shy and i dont know what to say to the parents.
how do i get sarted with everything.
like i need all the information & everything about babysitting.
I have a 10 year old brother, and I also wanted to babysit for his friends. But since I felt weird just going up to the parents and saying "By the way, I babysit, just thought you should know..", I got my mom to talk to their parents and casually slip it in. Now I babysit for one of his friends once every other week.
As for getting information, it's really not as hard as it sounds; once you get a job, the kids will usually have something planned for you to do with them, or if not, suggest a board game, puppet show, etc.

I really need as much answers as possible.
To start off, I'm 16 Female and I have HIV. It got transmitted to me from my mom at birth, so it wasnt my fault what so ever!! So I've been dating this guy for a while now and I told him i have this HUGE secret, which i will tell him when im ready and in the beginning of our relationship, I tested the waters to see How he would handle the HIV situation. So I asked him, "what would you do if I had HIV?" and He replied "I'd still love you, and i would still have sex with you." So, I was SO relieved to hear that, I was happy that he would accept me and we'd still have a relationship without worry! And that was about 2 months ago!! Then last night I asked him Again what he'd do, and he replied "well, if we were getting married then yeah I would have sex with you, but if we werent getting married, then no i wouldnt have sex with you " SO i was SO upset! and said how low that was, because his answer was completetly different before, and i also told him that
"if he wouldnt accept me if i had HIV then he wouldnt accept my "secret" " because IT IS my Secret! but he doesnt know what my secret is. so then he said "well if it was some girl i didnt know and didnt love then no i wouldnt have sex with her but if it was you then I would." so I DONT KNOW WHAT I DO! should I tell him now and get it over with??!! Tell me answers!! HELP! and please dont say that i shouldnt have sex!! BECAUSE I DONT NEED THAT ANSWER!! I've made up my mind that i do want to have sex with him.

Honestly, if you told him you have a big secret, asked him twice about what he'd do if you had HIV, and said that if he wouldnt accept your HIV he wouldnt accept your secret, he probably has strong suspicions.
The truth is that it CAN be transmitted to him if you have sex.. it's a risk and I don't blame him for being hesitant.
Like the person below me said, you really won't be able to get a legitimate reaction until he actually knows, and isnt just talking hypothetically. It's like when you see the stories on the news about people, for example, whose house has burned down, and you think "Wow, that sucks". But you really have no idea how you'd actually feel, as hard as you try, until it ACTUALLY happens.

Alright, so I'm not the greatest at saving money. I'll admit that. I have $44.40 on my debit card currently, and I'm saving up for a Chanel Handbag, and a Louis Vitton Wallet. The handbag costs $639.00 and it's absolutely beautiful! I'm getting it from Yuella.com so the shipping is $39.99. Does anybody know if those bags on the website are real? I'm guessing based on the prices - they're real. But you can never be sure enough whether it's just a staff taking money for fake purses. Forgive my suspicion! So is it reliable? Are they real? From somebody that's had experience from that website preferably. My enxt question is this:

My dad said I could have a job at where he works when I turn 16, for $160 a week. But I'm only 13, are there any jobs I can do at my age? If so, it's gotta be pretty limited. When my parents go to parties down the block etc. they'll have me babysit and I'll get $4.00-$6.00 an hour. But I almost never babysit. I can work around the house a little but I'm not sure what to do around the house. I can wash the dishes for like 50 cents and wash the plants for a few dollars, depending on how many I water. I can weed the patio, but it takes hours for such little pay! Only like $7.00 after working all day! And I have school and grades to work on so I don't have much time. My family always forgets to give me allowance and it's annoying as HECK! PLEASE give me ideas to earn some money! I've never taken babysitting courses etc.

Do you have a younger sibling? I have an 11 year old brother and my mom talks to his friends' parents-- I babysit for my brother's friends now, and make $10 an hour. So if you know any younger kids you'd like to babysit for, try talking to their parents or get your parents to casually slip in that you babysit.
You can try being a CIT at your camp, and you'll earn tips. Or, it sounds cliche, but having a mini-garage sale to get rid of extra junk in your bedroom/around the house will get you a lot.
Some places hire kids at just 14 years old. I know an ice cream shop in my neighborhood that hires eighth graders.

ok so im 100 lbs and in the 8th grade, and i want to be smaller. i used to be the thinnest of all... then i gained. i want to be the SMALLEST of everyone i know, and i know i can do it b/c i have before. i really want to become anorexic, PLEASE, ive heard all about how it screws you up and stuff, but i want ways to BECOME anorexic, not people telling me the dangers i already know all that. if youve been anorexic before, please tell me how you did it, b/c i want to be! i havent eaten all day and when i do, i just throw it up. i dont seem to be seeing much of a difference, so please tell me how to be anorexic.
I know it's not what you want to hear, but there's a girl, also in 8th grade, that I know who's (supposedly) anorexic. Whether she is or not, she's undeniably stick-skinny. And let me tell you, she looks disgusting. It looks like if you were to sneeze on her, she'd fall over.
Aside from that, everyone whispers behind her back about 'the anorexic loser'. People won't like yo better because you're anorexic. They'll like you less and talk about you all the time.
Plus, guys really like girls with "a little bit of meat on them", as they say. It's a huge turn-off to be so skinny.
And no, I'm not just saying those things to get you to change your mind. It's the truth.

Hm, I once saw an interesting myspace picture where this girl drew a really intricate pattern on her driveway in chalk. Then she lay on her back on the pattern and had a friend take the picture.
If you want something like that, you could try drawing angel wings on the driveway and lying down on them, or drawing a crazy hat and lying down with your head under it, etc.

Most guys have a preference, but in the end, a relationship shouldn't depend on the amount of pubic hair you have or the size of your boobs. So usually they like it better one way, but it's not a huge deal.

I know what you mean, I have a good friend who is just obsessed with boys and constantly talking about them. You cant change her being boy-crazy or a whore (believe me, I've tried with mine) but it does get annoying when you want to hang out with her, without boys.
What I do is, when I hang out with my boycrazy friend, I invite along our other girl friends. That way its strictly us girls, and she never invites a boy because she doesnt want to intrude-- its selfish.

Why is it that when i do something bad my mother goes and tells everyone in the family? Is it because family has to know?...or is she just trying to make me look bad? I just gots to know..cause my mom is always doing that to me and she even do it to my friend...he does something bad and she tells my family that my best friend did this or that..and it makes me look bad...my aunts are always like you should get new friends...but whatever happened to the good things me and my best friend do?...so I'm juss sayin is why do parents do this to us kids

Yup, moms get like that a lot. At least, my mom does. When I tell her something personal about one of my friends, or something that happened at school, I'll hear her an hour later, on the phone telling my aunts and her friends. She'll even go so far as to ask me, "Can I tell this to ___?" and when I say no, she goes on anyway. Don't worry, it just means she's involved with your life, which is more than I can say for some parents ^^.
