wikipedia twinn?

Question Posted Sunday May 27 2007, 11:18 pm

hey.

well i would always use wikipedia for general information,
but then all my teachers said it's an unreliable source
cause anyone can edit it.
so it's not allowed.

is there another site that's really similar to wikipedia?
please don't say google.
just a general information site?

xo

Usually, I use www.answers.com because it's in an easy-to-read format. Infoplease.com is also pretty good for information. Sometimes if you use wikipedia, they have reference pages on the bottom that link to reliable sources for the topic you're looking for.

you could use encyclopedia.com or reference.com
those are also encyclopedias like wiki, but they aren't edited by anyone
