Erm hey, im 17 and ill be leaving school next year

My question is that, we've been made to make choices at school about what universities we want to go to, but the thing is, im thinking of doing psychology and its a really hard course to get into; at every university im thinking about, plus im not sure to whether i'd be able to go off to university since im not a very independent person.

So... do i have to go to uni or college to get a good well paid job? I'd like to work with children but im pretty open-minded and would really just be happy working somewhere where i would make alot of money and if it was something that i enjoyed doing.

yea pychology is the feild im looking into also.i bet you already know college is deffietly an yes. but its always hard to decide which ones better to get the carrer of your dreams. the best way tom decide this is to look into what the schools have to offer pertaining to the most pyhcology classes needed to get your phD. find the best one and go for it

I really want help for my cutting but i dont know how to get help. besides my friends should i tell someone? i CANT let my parents know and most people would go and tell my parents. and without my parents knowing i cant join a support group or see a counselor. what should i do!?!?!?! doing this can and will affect you.justknow that there are other ways to vent out your anger or deppression..why should you hury yourself for things other people do? anyway, to stop get rid of all razors or any object you usually cut with.try to get involved with a program or a sport or do something fun with your friends to distract and occupy your time so you wont always be home. if you ever get the urge to cut...put a hair tie or a rubber band around your wrist and just snap it against yourself...

me and my boyfriend have been going out for 9 months and two weeks ago i broke up with him because for the last 2 months he has been so mean to me it's ridiculous. well turns out he was so hurt from me breaking up with him he didnt talk to me for a week and i tried so hard to talk to him but he just said mean things to me. fast foward to tonight, we finally worked things out and i told him while we were broken up i kissed another guy thinking that he would appreciate my honesty but i just got screamed at for that. We are finally going back out but it has to be a huge secret because his parents dont want us together. so today he snuck over my friends and we were drinking and i told him not to drink too much sine he had to go home and he had 8 beers and was really tipsy and kept annoying me to have sex with him and like i finally gave in because he gets mad when I dont so i did but he could tell i wasnt into it [ i wasnt wet] so he got pissed off and flipped at me, but he was drunk but still. then he started screaming at me for kissing another guy eventhough he said he was over it and he broke up with me over it and whenever i say he hurt me he always goes "well you kissed that guy" and before he left he said dont listent o me im drunk i love you i promise ill call you tonight. and i said pleasse call it'll break my heart if you dont and he never called. this isnt the first time he's done this to me, he doesnt have a cell fone either and he has work tomorrow and i cant call his house ever. now the guy that i kissed really likes me and hes sweet but hes kind of not my type but hes hot and popular and an amazing football player, i just dont knw what to do please help me out!

i think your ex boyfriend isnt the one for you if he keeps screaming at you and forcing you to do stuff. its hard to tell if a guy is telling the ruth or not when he's drunk...personally i would go with the guy you kissed because maybe then he would treat you better and be a little nicer to you.

Ok so I have this weird thing with my hair..and it scares me to get it cut. I always get it cut at the same place cause the lady is like a family friend. And I asked her to take 2 inches off but she took about 4 and she cut my bangs so they're angled off my face but ugh I just really don't like it, my face is hidden! Does anyone have any suggestions for hairstyles? Its like shoulder-length and layered and heavy bangs on the left side. I look really emo or something..

if your afraid your face being hidden by your bangs...try gathering your bangs into a barrette,pull em straight back to the back of your head and clip it there until your bangs grow out.

ok so my boyfriend steven and i have bene going out for like EVER off and on and were young and we dont really know what love is, but im pretty sure i love him so at school.. he TOTALLY passes right by me and never talks to me and like ignores me.. he never talks to me first but then when i talk to other guys he blows shit.. idk what to do and so i was talking to this guy named will and steven is like screaming at me, im like the most jealous person in the world and i told steven like that if we werent going to talk then dont talk to other girls around me bc ill just get mad and now.. ugh he is talking to girls and getting mad at me when i talk to other guuys i want to lose him!! i just need to have like good things to say to him, that will really hit him hard. thanks sooo much!

ok. im starting highschool. and i'm not sure what to wear for the first day /week. i dont think we can wear tank tops, so yeah.

these are things i have in my closet..
-skinny jeans [dark ones and light ones]
-polos. [navy blue ones and maroon ones. i dont wear polos much..]
-skirts.
-regular jeans.
-black and white polka dot baby doll top. [thats really cute.]
-white shorts
-plaid shorts
-regular tshirts that just say like abercrombie or has a gumball machine on it. and stuff.
-this other cute hollister shirt, it has like a bow and stuff. its cute.

i have alottt of other clothes too. like stuff that all matches that stuff. i'm pretty sure i wanna wear the skinny jeans. the light ones, i roll up. and then the darker ones i keep down. i'm thinking of wearing the darker jeans. i dont knowww. what do most people wear on the first day?

I have a little bit of light-colored hair on my upper lip. However, it's enough so it's noticable. So, I'm planning on using that NAIR facial hari removal stuff. So, i'm wondinerg - has anyone ever used it for the purpose of upper lip hair removal? is it effective? for how long? etc. i've never used Any kind of NAIR, so im not sure what to expect..

could having side bangs ruin your eyes?? like if the side bangs covered one eye partially could you like become partially crosseyed in one eye and the other one is fine?

no it doesnt make u cross eyed or blind in one eye.
side bangs dont always go in fron of your eyes and anyeway you can still see right through your hair

so today i was like wrestling with guys and stuff,and by accident i slammed my tooth on something and my whole mouth hurt.
Mt tooth isnt LOOSE LOOSE,but it can move a tiny bit and it hurts a little bit.
Will this go away and strengthen again or what?

when you get to the park...ask him if he wants to go to your house to like hang out,he says yes and probably the easiest thing to do is sit on the couch to watch tv.but sit closer than normal and when he looks at you look in his eyes and kiss em. since he likes you too,he would have no problem with this and continue with kissing you more
