ok well im 17 and me and my boyfriend met like a month ago at my friends grad party and we just hit it off and now we are an "item". THe bad thing is that he lives in detroit which is like an hour and a half from where i live so we never get to see each other but we talk almost everyday on the phone.we love each other but im just scared to lose him cause i finally found someone worth loving but long distance relationships never work out from what my friends say but i want to know how you guys would handle being in a relationship like mine. thanks

i know what you mean! me and my bf live about 2 hours er so from eachother, but our 2 year anniversary was this month, August. If you guys really like eachother er love eachother, you'll fight through the distance part, trust me. plus since you're 17, you guys will be going to college, getting careers, etc. so you guys can plan stuff to do together. actually, an hour and a half isn't too bad. some sucessful couples live across the US. i'd stick with it. it could really work and you don't want to lose him either. juss stick with it!

okayy ! well i went out with this boy for almost 3 months and he was short .. and he knew it.. well we had an argument like a niqht before we broke up cause i didnt see him for like 3 weeks then if we didnt hang out today (the day of the argument) i wouldnt get to see him for another week .. soo anyway .. i got mad cause he wouldnt hang out with me ( am i right about getting mad ?) and i made steph my friend talk to him .. but i was sittinq on the floor rockiinq back and forth and then i was whisperinq i can do better i need to dump him because he treats me like ass.. but anyway then he heard and got mad so i forgave him about not hangin out but he didnt really forgive me but i talked to him the nxt day when i was babysittinq and then he said that he was ten like messinq around and i was like suuureee ..and he goes why do you think im soo short .. i said i dunno maybe you have growinq problems then he said what do u tell your friends you go out with someone whose short and i said nahh i say i go out with a short kid & he got mad and hung up so i called him back and he said dont fucking call me again bitch ! so i didnt...

hmm..that's an interesting situation. if you truly like him try talking to him again. if you aren't so sure i'd try to move on. i know saying it is easier than doing it, but he doesn't seem like the best guy to be with. i'm not totally sure what he meant by the "i'm 10" thing, if he was kidding it wasn't that funny of a joke, plus he should be honest with you. if he's going to be mad about the argument let him. you did try talking to him and he still seems mad about it. if you really like him give him one more try, but if not let it go. i mean he shouldn't ever call you a bitch, and you can do alot better. there's a lot of guys out there that can treat you good.

Hi. I just got the motorola V3 razor phone and i keep trying to sign on AIM with it but it wont let me...i already put my screen name in and everything and i use this screen name on my pc so its already like registered...but whenever i try it says "AIM sign on failed."...is anyone else having this problem or know what i can do?

make sure you have text/internet access. you can do that by trying to get on the regular web on your phone. if you don't have that you can't get on AIM on your phone. if you still can't, then maybe you have bad reception er something. you can always take it to the store to see if they can figure it out.

I am thirteen and i don't care for guys that much but i have auburn hair, around five foot though alot of people consider me short, skinny (well thats what everyone says) and play alot of sports. Almost like everyone in my grade has either been asked out or has had a boyfriend/girlfriend. I have never been asked out and i am just wondering if i should be concerned about that. hmm..i'd wait really. i mean if you wanna wear make up now talk about it with your mom. say you're starting to get into it and if she can help you out on what to buy. maybe start w/ eye makeup. eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, etc. maybe lipgloss er something. but remember that you don't have to. i rarely wear make up. only sometimes. your mom will understand though. personally i think people look better without it, but whatever you wanna do. i think 13 is a good age to start wearing makeup though. you should start whenever you're comfortable.

try to talk to him whenever you see him. i don't think giving him your # is desperate. plus usually guys show off when they like someone and since his friend said he liked you, he probably does. juss talk to him whenever you see him, a little bit before you give him your #. he'll probably ask you out if he knows you like him, because he probably doesn't know. by giving him your # he'll be able to tell you like him, which isn't a bad thing whatsoever. it might be easier to talk to him with other people around.

my stepfather is a total baby. he gets what ever he wants. his mom baught him a car. my mom baught him a scanner. and his mom baught him a new computer. and those were when he just wanted it. it's like he get's what he wants but i dont get what i want. and he gets expensive stuff on his birthdays when i just get a birthday card. how do i get things to be fair around here. or atleast stop him from getting what ever he wants

im 13M and weigh around 150. and im thinking on going on a diet. and have every vitamen and mineral covered exept protien. ya see, protien offten travels with fat and i dont know how to get protien into my diet without eating fating food. any ideas

i have a healthy way to watch what you eat, but it isn't exactly a "diet".

-sleep 9-10 hrs every night
-make sure you don't skip meals, eat all 3 of your choice, juss not alot of carbs and sodas
-make sure you eat a good sized breakfast. if you don't eat breakfast, your body can go into starvation mode, and cause you to gain weight, er stay the same weight, because you won't burn calories when it's in starvation mode
-eat 3 snacks about every 3 hours. this is the tricky part, because they have to be healthy snacks, not cookies, chips etc. try fruits, veggies, crackers, etc. you do this to help your metabolism
-you need to exersize about 1-2 hrs. it doesn't have to be like a marathon. you can walk/jog, swim, bike, run, play a sport, basically any activity.

for the protein..try different things like fish, chicken, not tough meats like burger. fish and chicken give you good protein, but don't carry as much fat.

hmm usually when you have zits, that means your periods coming. sometimes there isn't signs at all whatsoever, so i wouldn't worry until sept. if it's early sept and you still didn't get it, then you need a pregnancy test. i don't really think you're pregnant though, juss because of what you said.

hmm..idk anything about him really but it kinda seems like he likes you. idk that's the only reason i can see why he'd call you a slut, because that isn't a slutty action. usually distance is the cause of that too, but im not exactly sure. the only thing you can really do is juss talk to him about it to fix it. maybe if you guys feel comfortable talking about it he'll open up to you and explain things.

hmm since i'm a girl i think i can help =) well see..girls all like diff things in a guy, but here are some basics you can start with.

-funny [remember if you can make a girl laugh, you can make her do anything]
-personality is a big thing, even though most girls say looks, if you don't have personality you don't have anything. by that i mean always try to be in a good mood if you can
-axe spray =) haha it's one of my favorites and it smells really good! cheap too!

basically girls look for nice guys that can still protect her. it's not all about looks either. for conversation, you juss gotta keep it going and not too boring. no awkward silences. sometimes random is good.

this year im taking two high school courses (algebra 1 and intergrated pyhics and chemistry) along with advance placement classes. but my problem is that the teachers have loaded us with homework each night and its only the fourth day of school. i have stayed up until 11:00 every night doing homework and i get off of school at 2:25.

can someone give me some tips on how to finish my homework faster...so i can get some sleep.

hmm this is what i do! if there's time before classes, er after, juss some extra time, pull outta worksheet and start doing it. obviously you can't do it in class, because you'll fall behind and could get caught. if you're sitting in lunch and get bored you can do that too. always bring it juss incase. there aren't enough hours in a day, but you can't really rush through it either er you mess it all up. that's all i did and i've finished earlier. 9pm tops. it should work.
