okay!! well right now im at home its 8:24 at night
IM SO HUNGRy!!! well i exersice alot and im trying to lose wieght but i get so hungry i dont wanna go eat anything right now im so in the mood for chocalate but iduno somone help me quick im starving
what do i do?/
what should i eat?
thannks
btw
i heard its bad to eat at night
thats why i told u the time!!

What you should do- Eat something.
What you should eat- Fruit, crackers, vegetables, or something small, light, and without sugar and fat.

The reason it's bad to eat at night, is because your body is calming down and getting ready for sleep. When you eat, you get energy again, etc, making it hard for you to relax and fall asleep.
So stop eating 2 hours before you go to bed and you'll be fine.

But if you're really hungry, like I'm assuming you are/were, then don't starve yourself. Just have something light like listed above =]

me & my cousins went shopping yesterday from about 4:30-8. my neck started to hurt and i really don't know why because it never happened to me. so i thought, maybe if i get some sleep it'll feel better. i slept over my cousins house and we went to bed at like 4 and i just woke up at 7:23 because i can't sleep, and it's still hurting. should i just leave it or is it something serious? thanks

It's probably just a stiff neck. This happens to me a lot because I tend to sleep with 4 pillows, even when I know it makes my neck hurt.

I would just leave it for now. But if it persists for more than a week, then go to a doctor.
Chances are you'll be fine though =]
For now, like I said, just leave it be and take it easy. Maybe even putting a cool rag on your neck just to soothe it a bit?

i had sex august 21st and like i might take a doctors examination to see if i really am pregnant but i was wondering if i do get pregnant, i dont want the baby and im not having the baby, how much is abortion and can i have an abortion possibly now?

I hope you're not seriously considering this.
If there is one thing I am strongly against more than anything, it's abortion. Please don't get an abortion. It's taking the life away from the child, before it's even been giving the gift of living it. You're killing your own child, before you even got to hold it in your arms for the very first time, and see it smile up at you.

And you never know, that child could grow up and find the cure for cancer. That child could grow up and end world hunger. That child could grow up and change the world. That child can make a difference. That child has a reason for living. You might think I sound crazy, but why not give this baby a chance?

Please, at least have the baby and put it up for adoption. The best gift you can give to this child, is the gift of life itself. Don't take it all away before it's even began.

im 13/f nd im a virgin i wanna have sex but i wanna noe if it hurts TNX!

Why would you want to have sex at 13?
My advice: DON'T do IT!

You're 13, THIRTEEN! You know how much potential and how long of a life you have left ahead of you? What if you have sex and you get pregnant? Bye bye any future plans. How about if you get an STD? And it gets really serious? Bye bye possibly any future at all. What if whomever you had sex with just blows you off, even if you didn't get pregnant/contract an STD? What if he blows you off and you're going to have his child? Think of all the situations you could get yourself into, and think to yourself, is it really worth it?

I personally don't even think you should be having sex, unless it's with someone you really love and are going to know forever.

I'm not saying this to scare you, I'm saying this to try and help you. I'm trying to help stop you from making the biggest decision of your life.
Make Smart Choices! =]

This question is just to get opinions:
If someone you knew told you that they cut themselves, what would your first reaction be? Would you think they were crazy, would you try to help them, would you be scared of them, or what?

I would, honestly, be scared. Not OF the person, but FOR the person. I mean, we actually just learned about this in health and cutting is way more serious and way more, I don't want to say "popular" but common, there we go, than most people think.

If yourself or somebody you know is cutting, get help. Please! Don't keep it to yourself, you can be saving someone's life. I can't stress it enough, Please Tell Someone! It's not something to be taken lightly.
Good Luck.

soo my roommates birthday is this week, and i wanted to decorate the door and get some little things for her. any ideas?

Decorate it with a Hawaian (sp?) theme? I think that would be awesome. You can use grass skirts to line all the tables/desk, and make tropical drinks with the little umbrellas in them, etc.

Or, decorate it with a 50's theme. Put records on the door, and play Elvis when she first comes in, etc.

As for things to get her, is she into reading? Get her a few good books. Or a giftcard to somewhere she likes, like I don't know, Starbucks? Or you can get her the cd of a band she really likes? Is she into art? Get her a nice sketchpad and some drawing pencils.

Hope this helps && Have fun!

I have side bangs and my bangs never seem to stay together. Like, a piece of myu hair would always get seperated from the rest and it gets really annonying, especially when i have to fix it all day. I put on hair spray but it doesnt work that well and it ruins my hair. Anything else that might make my hair stay together? Wax maybe? Thanks! (14/f)

I have this problem. Well, had, anyways. I just pinned them how I wanted them every night before I went to sleep and kept the pins in until the morning. I did that for like, a majority of the summer and now they're pretty much how I want them =]
Try that, or just mess around with different styles. If you find a style you like, or just decide to keep your bangs how they are, do like I said, and make sure to lightly hairspray during the day.
Good Luck!

what are some good t-mobile phones that aren't that expensive? about $115 at the most. i need a phone that you dont have to get a plan with it, just the phone. i already have the chip thing, but my old one broke, it doesnt need a camera or anything special.

thnks. i will rate.

websites please..

I have this phone:

http://support.t-mobile.com/knowbase/root/public/tm23301.htm#top

and I really like it. I'd reccommend it to you.

Or, my brother has this phone:

http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones/Detail.aspx?device=a88f3e3a-a00e-4446-ab43-697726a45a1a&WT.srch=2&Result_Inq=answer&InqSource=TMO

And it's pretty cool. It works well and it's a good size.

The phone I don't reccommend, is the razr. Both of my parents and my best friend have hem and all they do is complain that it sucks.
Good Luck! =]

does anyone know if it is acually healthier to be a vegitarian? or if it is acually natural? im confused on the topic.

Welcome to the world of vegetarianism!
Technically and medically speaking, it can go either way.

If you choose to be a vegitarian the RIGHT way, then sure, it's healthy. Like mentioned below, you lower your risk of heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure. You'd just have to eat right. You have to make sure your intake of vitamen D, protein, iron, and B 12 is high enough, as those are the vitamens most vegetarians do not get enough of.

However, if you don't take in enough of the vitamens I mentioned above (and possibly some others, those are just the ones I know of the top off my head) you can become sick. You might become anemic, or something along those lines. Basially, you risk developing a condition in which you don't get enough of a certian vitamen or nutrient.

Of course being a vegetarian is natural! Why the heck wouldn't it be? You're eating NATURAL foods, like fruit and, you guessed it, vegetables. Though I guess some people like Russianspy1234, said below, feel like people should eat both meat and vegetables, which is perfectly fine. Peoples' opinions on the subject vary from place to place and person to person. Though like he also said, vegetarians tend to be healthier than non vegetarians in the long run.
Hope this helps & if you need more help on the topic, inbox me whenever =D

ok im like way to tall. im 5'7 and only 15. i hate being tall everyone else is shorter and im taller than everyone. from christmas last year till school was out in may i growed like 3 or 4 inches. some days i will stand next to my mom and i will look shorter. other days i will stand by her and ill be taller. we are on the same level ground and standing the same way and everything. am i going to grow anymore and is there any change of me getting shorter at all?!

thanks.

I'm going to tell you the story of my friend Max, and I. He moved here in 4th grade or so, and I don't remember, but in pictures, we looked about the same height. We didn't grow much, until 8th grade. He was so much taller than me! It made me so mad because I felt so short.
But then, 2 summers ago, I grew...a lot. Seriously I grew about 5 inches. It was crazy. So freshman year, I found I was taller than Max by a few inches. It was pretty radical.
Now, sophomore year, and guess whose taller. Max.
But that doesn't mean I won't someday grow taller yet again!

So the moral of the story, height changes. It's going to happen, it's just part of growing up.
Embrace being tall! I'm your same age and height, and I like it how it is. If anything, I'd rather be taller than shorter.
Like the person below me said, since you're only 15, so you still have a chance of growing a few more inches. I read in health class that females usually reach their final height at around 17-18. You most likely won't get any shorter. I don't think that's physically even possible without medical alteration, anyways.

As for why you're taller on some days and short on others, where you are and any other people around you could paly a role. If there are more short people around you, you'll obviously feel shorter and vice versa. Hope it helps! =]

I need help with summer reading, I've sort of skimmed over the three books I was supposed to read, but nothing really sank in. So if someone could just sort of explain the basic ideas to these books, that would be amazing.

The Founding Brothers
The catcher In the Rye
Tom Sawyer

I agree with Tina, skimming doesn't count as reading. Just read them.
It's so not that hard, and it'll be worth it in the end when you ace any quizes/projects associated with the content in the books =]

I'm a boy in 8th grade and to some girls I don't know what to say. I try to come up with things but I have no idea what to say. But to some other girls things come easier and I don't have to think about it. Could you please tell me things to talk about or why I might be able to talk easier to some people. Thanks!

I like guys who make me laugh. If the first thing you say to me makes me laugh (and you're not creepy, touchy, or annoying), you'll have a chance of developing a relationship with me (either friends or more than).
But that's just me personally =]

The best advice I can give is to just be yourself. Don't be someone you're not.
Here's the way I see it...
If you start talking to a girl and act in a manner that is the complete opposite of how you'd normally act, then what's the point? Then, ths girl's only going to like you for who you aren't, which is totally not cool. Just be yourself, and find a girl who likes you for you. Trust me, it'll totally be worth it =]
Good Luck! =D

Okay well im going into 9th grade and my boyfriend is going into 7th. And hes just not like a little kid. Hes so mature and so sweet, and i really like him, and hes always there for me, but i was wondering does anybody think that its weird that im dating a 7th grader?

I completely agree with Jack (CuxMiBeckNow7)...
Age is just a number.

If you really care about the person, who cares how old they are? As long as they make you happy, and you want to be together, go for it!
And if people make fun of you/say something rude, just brush it off. Tell them to mind their own business or get lost.

But 2 years isn't really all that big of a difference, at least, not in my opninion. =]
It just might be hard because you're gonig in to high school, and he's still in junior high.

who did you first see advicenators from? what was your inspiration to start it? who'd you discover it from? when'd you start?

Thanks for inboxing me =]

I found advicenators from a girl at my school back about 2 years ago.
My inspiration was helping people, because I just love to do it. Therefore I took this oppurtuinity to do it more often.
I started 2 years ago in October, took a really long break, and came back in maybe January or December I want to say.
I'll also probably be here until I'm too old to type, or something like that.
Hope it helps =]

I shake a lot when I get nervous or when I'm arrguing with someone. Do you think there's something wrong? Also, there is a past of anxiety in my family, is that what it could be? It happens almost each and every time I argue or get really upset and it doesn't go away until everything is resolved. Thanks in advance.

I shake all the time. When I'm nervous, when I'm excited, and almost everywhere in between.

Like the person below me said, it's the bodies' normal reation. It's fine, and totally normal.

If you think you have an anxiety problem, talk to a family memeber that's had it and see if your symptoms are similar. Or jsut go to your doctor.

But don't worry, you'll be fine =]

What does:"I'm a sucker for baby." mean??

Do you mean, "I'm a sucker for you baby?"
If so, it just means that you're very attracted to someone/something, or you really like it.

For example,
"I'm a sucker for boys with shaggy hair"
would mean I'm typically attracted to boys with shaggy hair.
Or, "I'm a sucker for anything with cream cheese." means that I like to eat anything with cream cheese. lol.

Get it? =]

I know this isn't really asking for advice, but the last few days I was just thinking about this and wondering why the people here joined.

I guess it is just out of pure curiosity. I would have just posted this in the moderator forum or in the supporter discussion, but I'd rather see why everyone joined rather than just those who have been here for some time and such.

So, why did you join advicenators and why are you still here? What about the site made you want to stay?

I'll probably be one of the first people to answer this (I'm not going to answer it in the question).

S_C

:]

Hi S_C =]
I've been on this site for almost 2 years.

I first joined, because someone I know made an account and the site looked really cool.
I've always liked helping people, so I signed up right away.

I didn't think much of it at first, but then I asked a few questions, and began answering some as well. I found it so fun and rewarding when you know you've helped someone!

I left this site for about 7 months, I want to say? And then logged back in, just for the fun of it, and got hooked again.

Now I stay one for basically the sole purpose of helping and feeling like I'm doing something useful/rewarding with my spare time.
And of course, I love talking to my fellow advicenators, too =]

I will probably be on this site until I'm too old to get up and type...
