Talking to Girls

Question Posted Sunday August 26 2007, 12:34 am

I'm a boy in 8th grade and to some girls I don't know what to say. I try to come up with things but I have no idea what to say. But to some other girls things come easier and I don't have to think about it. Could you please tell me things to talk about or why I might be able to talk easier to some people. Thanks!

basically i agree with the people below me.
just be yourself when you talk to a girl. and i am a suckkerr for guys that can make me laugh =]. so be funny, im sure a ton of girls woulld love thatt i know i would. you should make the first move and go up to a girl, a simple "hey what's up" is fine. personally, i like it a lot better when the guy makes the first move, it shows that he has confidence, that's something i think is hot[=.

and for me, i find it harder to talk to people that i have a crush on or someone that i think is cute. but if im just going to talk to one of my friends thats a guy..it's really easy, so i think this may be your problem too. but i honestly don't know what to do about this problem, haha i still have it. i guess just say she's a girl, not an alien, i can talk to her.

haha i hopee i helpedd =)
iff you need anything elsee messagee me.

I like guys who make me laugh. If the first thing you say to me makes me laugh (and you're not creepy, touchy, or annoying), you'll have a chance of developing a relationship with me (either friends or more than).
But that's just me personally =]

The best advice I can give is to just be yourself. Don't be someone you're not.
Here's the way I see it...
If you start talking to a girl and act in a manner that is the complete opposite of how you'd normally act, then what's the point? Then, ths girl's only going to like you for who you aren't, which is totally not cool. Just be yourself, and find a girl who likes you for you. Trust me, it'll totally be worth it =]
Good Luck! =D

The reason why your probably scared to talk o some girls is because either you think that ythey are above you socially and the other girls that you can to are below you. But, if you never talk to the girls your scared to talk to, they probably wont even know who you are or ever want to come up and talk to you. So the only thing i can say is to gather the confidence and talk t othem. Maybe start off talking to them online because thats easier than face to face. If you have some classes with them talk about that say 'what was the homework' or 'dont you hate that teacher' that might sound stupid but at least its a conversation. Then just work your way from there, a common interest, a hobby, ask her about her life? girls want to be talked to by guys so whatever you say will be fine
hope that helped
