LOL_x0x answered Wednesday August 29 2007, 5:01 pm: I'm going to tell you the story of my friend Max, and I. He moved here in 4th grade or so, and I don't remember, but in pictures, we looked about the same height. We didn't grow much, until 8th grade. He was so much taller than me! It made me so mad because I felt so short.
But then, 2 summers ago, I grew...a lot. Seriously I grew about 5 inches. It was crazy. So freshman year, I found I was taller than Max by a few inches. It was pretty radical.
Now, sophomore year, and guess whose taller. Max.
But that doesn't mean I won't someday grow taller yet again!
So the moral of the story, height changes. It's going to happen, it's just part of growing up.
Embrace being tall! I'm your same age and height, and I like it how it is. If anything, I'd rather be taller than shorter.
Like the person below me said, since you're only 15, so you still have a chance of growing a few more inches. I read in health class that females usually reach their final height at around 17-18. You most likely won't get any shorter. I don't think that's physically even possible without medical alteration, anyways.
As for why you're taller on some days and short on others, where you are and any other people around you could paly a role. If there are more short people around you, you'll obviously feel shorter and vice versa. Hope it helps! =]

Listen, I'm the same age as you are and I'm 5'8", I love being tall. I embrace it and use it to my advantage. Don't be ashamed of it, work with what you have. If it makes you feel better, probably the shorter girls and looking at you and wishing they were taller. [ LagunaBabe's advice column | Ask LagunaBabe A Question ]
