My family is like super poor right now. Usually we go out to eat every night & we are eating like.. spaghettios. My family wants to turn off the television, internet, and phones. This is making me extremely annoyed & I just don't know what to do. My mom and dad are all stressed and yell at me for no reason. What should I do?

I highly doubt they mean to shout at you. As you've said, it is a pretty stressful time and it must be affecting them in alot of different ways.
All you can do is support their decisions if it comes to it. I'm sure they're only doing it as a last resort.
If you like, you can come up with ways to help them get money, such as selling things or perhaps you could even get a small job if you're old enough. Every little helps.
I hope things turn out fine soon.

I just met this guy in high school. We talk all the time in English class and thats about it. We have eachother on msn, and i do make an effort to talk to him but he only always has to go at that point. This conversation we had on msn today:

Me: What do we have for English hmwk?
Him: I dont know
Me: Didnt you copy it down?
Him: Nopee i didnt
Me: Okay, ill get it tomorrow
Him: Kayy byee
Me: Oh, are you leaving?
Him: Nope, i dont feel like talking anymore
Me: Ohhkay...bye...

He stayed on for about 10-15 minutes more. What did that mean? All answers are greatly appreciated.

Could be a number of reasons:
1. He doesn't want to talk to you.
2. He doesn't want to be talking about school.
3. He is busy doing other things and can't talk.
4. He may just not feel like chatting online.
Either way, it seems pretty rude of him to just stop the conversation like that.
Next time he's on, you can ask if he's alright. If I were in your position though, I'd ignore him. You seem to be doing your part, so if he is interested in you, he will make the effort to talk to you, too.

I had this really cheap sound/voice recorder to catch lectures as the teacher talks. I seemed to have lost it...because when I looked in my bag, I only found the cover for the batteries left from it. Should I be worried? Even if someone found it, they couldn't recognize my voice..

I wouldn't worry about it seeing as there wasn't information about you on there, but if you plan on getting another, keep it in a safer place out of sight from anyone who may want it for themselves...

It's probably a glitch. Myspace is full of bugs and errors lately. Give it a bit of time and it should be all fine. :)

Well I like this guy that's in like 1 of my classes and he's like the type of guy that's shy towards the girl that he likes...I'm also the type of girl who's shy towards the guy that I like. So I don't know what to do! I'd much rather like for him to come up and talk to me first then for me to have to go up to him, but I don't think that'll happen!:(

Seeing as he's in one of your classes, it should make it easier.
What's so hard about a smile and a hello, how are you? Unless you ask him a question work related, or ask to borrow something. Keep things simple for now and more conversation may arise from that point. Just go for it. You've got nothing to lose.. and you could be waiting forever for him to talk to you. Good luck

i love gothic stuff but i am not gothic! i always wear it my parents and relatives get pissed at me. everyone at school says im gothic or emo it drives me crazy. or im a self manipulator but that used to be true i guess. i used to cut and band myself but im not anymore. i left all my old friends or they left me but i stayed with one he became my best friend then we loved eacother then it went to hell. then i went with all the punky gothic people but their not that extreme im probly the worse...they are true best friends to me. now that i write all this it does seem true about me but what can i do so they dont call me fuckin gothic or cutter or self manipulator?! i dont really care what people think of me but this draws the line. what can i do? i dont have many friends and their never in my classes only a few. how can i make and keep friends.

If you "dress gothic", you'll get the gothic comments unfortunately. It's just how it goes. If you want to continue dressing how you do, ignore the comments and once they see you aren't bothered (even though you are), they will soon stop.
It's all you can do to be honest, as I doubt you'd want to change how you look just to prove a point. Screw them and continue doing and dressing how you like.

There's absolutely nothing to worry about, as it happens to all females. If you don't want to flat out and say "mum, I've started my period", you can ask her where she keeps the pads. She will soon catch on to what you are asking.
If you've started developing, ask to go shopping for new underwear.
If you don't know what happens during puberty, a simple Google search will tell you everything you need to know.

In the mean time, don't be afraid to tell your mum. It's what she's there for!

Tomorrow in gym, we will be doing the mile run/walk. I was just wondering if anyone could give me good advice on getting a good time, or not getting really tired, how not to get that pain in my side, and maybe how to breathe or something. Thanks!

Start off steady - don't go too fast and waste all your energy. You should speed up at half a mile and gradually get faster afterwards. Breathe nice long breaths (not too hard)- in through nose, out through mouth. Perhaps carry a water bottle with you and take small sips if really necessary.
Just don't over exert yourself and you should be fine.
If you have any other mile runs coming up in the future, I suggest having a few practice runs before hand to train yourself, to know what to expect and become better.

Basically, you can risk it, but I wouldn't. Keep Practicing putting in a tampon. Practice makes perfect.

15/f. About a week ago, my friend [A] told me that she was going to set me up with the guy that I like. I knew this wasn't a good idea, because we're not the BEST of friends. So, two days later, I find out that A told ANOTHER one of her friends, this time, someone who I don't even know : C. So, you know what C does (she's a girl)? C goes up to the guy, and tells him that "some girl named [me] likes you." When A told me this, I was dumbfounded and extremely pissed. I felt so betrayed. A knife has been placed in my back. I trusted A. I let her do this for me because she said it was her pleasure, I shouldn't worry about it and that she wanted to do it and that "you guys BELONG TOGETHER :D" But why the fuck would you tell someone I don't even KNOW then!? Who gave you the right to do that?

Personally, I don't think "A" set out to hurt you in any way. She just obviously likes to get into your business and try to help you - despite making things worse. Lots of people are like this and alot of the time, they don't realize they're doing something wrong.
I wouldn't break up your friendship with this girl, but you need to make her understand not to do anything like that again.
Give everything a bit more time to blow over. If you think it's really necessary, have a chat with the boy you like and say sorry - and that you didn't have anything to do with it.
Things will turn out fine in the end. Also, in the future, don't trust this girl so easily.. and don't tell her anything which you don't want to get out. I think she needs to start building back your trust for her.

I disagree with the columnist below me. If you're in a relationship, you do NOT get with others.
If you're planning on staying with your boyfriend, the obvious thing to do is not contact the other man. This way you won't be lusting over him and do something you'll probably regret - like cheating again.

So lets say Bob is in my chemistry class. me and bob sit next to each other, he is a year younger than i am. he has gone to school with me for a while, but we never really talked.
